Great experience with our 3 kids. We escaped the Mission to Mars room with lots of clues. Very well designed, professional and fun room.

It tested our creativity, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills all in good fun. I tend to be pretty competitive and enthusiastic when it comes to games, so I was determined to get out. Thankfully, the hints provided throughout were helpful, but not too much. We had more than enough time to solve the puzzles and make the escape. I recommend this activity for friends, double dates, team bonding activities, or even a solo activity (as long as you book a room that has other people already participating in your time slot). The production, effects, and design of the room are really detailed and really puts you "there" in the scenario. The hour spent in the room went by fast and there was plenty for each person to work on and contribute to the game. Fantastic experience overall!

First, before the room even begins, the staff is brilliant with their customer service, genuine enthusiasm and easy laughter. Then we get to the rooms! They are perfectly laid out for maximum comfort of small and large groups, the puzzles aren't easy but also aren't impossible and the themes are mastered. Hints, nudges, suggestions and directions, all freely given with the push of a button. The game master is in tune with you and your direction throughout the game, offering gentle hints or big hints if you need them. We found the gold in Gold Rush (escaped) and set time straight (escaped) in Timeliner. We would have loved to do a few others but had to hit the road. We'll be back for sure and will seek other Escape Game locations along the way!

They also advertise in all of the coupon books plastered all over for $5 off a single experience and $10 off a combined experience. So, I thought awesome! We get there yesterday, the girl behind the desk is not friendly AT ALL. Red flag one. Proceeds to tell us we cannot hold a monkey any longer because the "monkey handler" retired. Yet as I type this, this experience is STILL advertised all over their website, in person menu and flyers. Red flag two. We decided to go anyway because we had already drove out there and looked forward to it for a little under a year. We go to pay and we're then told you can't use the coupon. It's only good on about two things. Well, that should be specified on your coupon what two things it's good for. Not over 3/4 of your menu. Red flag three. Then it is advertised that you get free food cups and food to feed the animals so I figured that would be a decent trade off. Well, red flag four. Although that was true in essence, you get one little tear of lettuce leaf, 3 small squares of apple, and about 5 pieces of kibble (think dog food size kibble). You cannot feed the tortoise only the kangaroo and we were told they don't like kibble so feed it to the dog. The dog was adorable but to be honest, I didn't pay $20 to feed a dog. I can do that at home for free. So we got to feed the kangaroos an extremely small lettuce leaf and 3 of the tiniest chunks of apple. We were also given about a 2" piece of millet for the birds. And told if you drop it or they steal it then tough luck you will not receive another. We were given one little piece of kibble type thing for the monkey even though only two of us wanted to give him a treat, but we paid for five people. So anyways I felt like this was all together petty for what this experience advertises itself as. The last red flag came after we left. Both groups in our party realized we were charged $5 extra for paying with card (which is like 10%). We didn't do anything else on the farm that I can comment on, thank goodness. I will say, however, the gal who took us on the train was a nice gal and tried her best. And all of the animals were very sweet.

It was a bit stressful getting started because half our party wasn't on time and we almost had to enter without them. Luckily, the owner was cool and really pushed the limit on our time. Luckily them made it in the nic of time. We went for a bachelor party with a group of eight guys who mostly didn't know each other and half of whom had never done an escape. To be honest, a couple of us may have been a little drunk when we arrived. Needless to say, we didn't escape on time... haha. Definitely arrive early. The entrance is across from Shamrocks on the side street. You walk down a set of stairs to get to the desk. First you fill out waivers etc... and then the game master gets things started. I love the scary aspects of the room and you can tell they put a lot of thought into the clues and building the room. I would definitely reccomend them based on what I've seen so far.

We got out. But it just didn't really seem to be well thought out.

Super nice guy - professional and helpful (good tips) - friendly and welcoming. Sending us off with a God bless was a nice touch, although I could see that sounding funny to some folks, ha ha. (Dear God, please watch over us on this chair lift...) It was the kids' 1st time on a chair lift / ski lift, and it was a good one. Had to go open-air. No one freaked out. They even took selfies together on it. So sweet. Great views on the way down! Lift was rebuilt in... 2019 (?) after wildfires destroyed it, but they maintained a great old-school feel. Now! To the top. The SkyBridge. THE SKYBRIDGE. WOW. So so cool. Longest suspension bridge in North America, apparently. It was awesome, complete with grating and plexiglass at the middle. Amazing views. A little scary, sure, but so cool. Was stoked the kids wanted to walk across it multiple times. The trails up top are better than I expected. Not top tier Smokies trails, but better than expected. And more good views. Tulip Tower was cool, too. The overall SkyPark area was also beautifully landscaped. REALLY impressive - beautiful. Highly recommended.

At the other end of the bridge there is a drink and burger place and seats with a view. Though you might wonder why isn't this review a 5 star review. It's because the workers print out photos of you on the ride up and wait for you at the top asking you to buy them. They also take a photo of you before the ride, knocking the background out, putting it on a picture of the bridge and expecting 36 bucks for it. If you say no it goes in the trash which is a big waste. Now my family's face is shredded like iceberg lettuce and tossed into a dumpster somewhere in Gatlinburg (probably owned by Blake Shelton) The prices of the food were good, though just a notice the "frozen lemonade" is STRAWBERRY lemonade and is pre packaged.

A few things could be improved, though. If you plan to go back up the mountain, make sure you save your ticket or have the barcode accessible. There should be a separate re-entry line where they can scan the barcode on your wristband. It also would have been helpful if they had mentioned getting a beer badge at the bottom, since the place at the top of the mountain doesn't open until 11 a.m. and we ended up wasting about an hour. A scooter does fit on the gondola, which was convenient. They also take the obligatory entrance photos and offer several different backgrounds. The photo packages are a little pricey at $35 for digital or $20 for one printed photo. The Tap House could also use both registers during busy times, as the line was quite long. The Smoky Mountain Paloma was very good, though. The $4 price for a small bag of chips felt a little steep. Overall, we enjoyed the views and the experience. There's plenty to see and do, and the fall decorations and nighttime lights make it worth experiencing at different times of the day.
