We did not escape!!! It was hard, but fun!

Another weekend in Cherokee and our excursion for this trip was down to Pigeon Forge for an attempt at an escape room. Two of us had never been, one had. I find the concept very clever and knew I would have a good time no matter what the results ended up. We chose the Heist as our room. It was based on retrieving a stolen piece of art and was rated 8/10 in difficulty. We figured out a lot on our own, but being able to get the clues from the employee working there was super helpful. We definitely over thought a few things but in the end the escape room won and we did not get out in our hour time frame!! This is something I'd definitely be willing to take on again!!!

We did "depths" I think this was by far my favorite escape game. The staff were so friendly. The gentleman that checked us in stayed busy and answered everyone's questions when they came in. We were there on 6/12/25 at 3:15. The young lady that walked us to the room stayed in character and Craig walked us out. All of the staff were very nice and super helpful. We did escape with 2 seconds left however we did receive 5 hints, my brain was hurting by the end. The 1 st room we did Great, 20 minutes with no hints. The 2nd room we struggled and used 4 hints, the last room we used 1 hint. It was just 3 of us but we all had a great time.

This was located in The Island. We had to reserve a time for the next day to get in an escape game play. This location be prepared to wait . Very busy . Zac was our staff helper , He was awesome. Very available and helpful with all the clues we needed. We picked Prison Break . Very hard but my team got out. Clues very hard and you will definitely need someone who thinks outside the box . This one takes input from everybody. All help is needed .

    We (barely) escaped prison ‍

Courtney and Justin were awesome Game Masters! We did Classified because we've never seen it before at other locations. TEG is always great with a set design and story. I love all of their themes because they are very immersive. We got out with 20 minutes left and they let us take great photos with props. They mentioned a photo contest and we were very committed! Since we have done every room before, we took photos in multiple rooms and really committed to the atmosphere. We had the best time because of their hospitality and experience. They really are great experience hosts and love what they do. They even made us custom stickers for our escape room passports! They went above and beyond for us and that is what TEG is all about. Thank you guys for an amazing experience and I'm sure we will be back to say hello in the future!

Absolutely amazing! Zoey was fantastic and the whole experience was top tier. We were celebrating my birthday and they decorated and made me a card. We are planning our next trip

This was our first time trying this and our daughter picked the Prison Break game which was the hardest level. We were not confident going into this game but were paired with another family and we ESCAPED after working together! It was really fun and a great experience!! We all had a lot of fun!

We've been to three different escape games in the pigeon forge/Gatlinburg area over the past week. This one is by far the best one. We did the escape from Mars room. It had numerous stages in different rooms. Our host helped guide us when we got off track. It wasn't overly difficult. It was just about right on the difficulty.

Fantastic escape game room. The Houdini room is hard and for the escape room experienced goers. Give it try!

It was a bit stressful getting started because half our party wasn't on time and we almost had to enter without them. Luckily, the owner was cool and really pushed the limit on our time. Luckily them made it in the nic of time. We went for a bachelor party with a group of eight guys who mostly didn't know each other and half of whom had never done an escape. To be honest, a couple of us may have been a little drunk when we arrived. Needless to say, we didn't escape on time... haha. Definitely arrive early. The entrance is across from Shamrocks on the side street. You walk down a set of stairs to get to the desk. First you fill out waivers etc... and then the game master gets things started. I love the scary aspects of the room and you can tell they put a lot of thought into the clues and building the room. I would definitely reccomend them based on what I've seen so far.

We got out. But it just didn't really seem to be well thought out.

We've gone two years in a row (2024 and 2025) and even between the years it seems that there is more to offer. Plan to be there all day, especially if you have small children. There is so much for them to do, climb, and explore which is nice so you can enjoy your drink while they play. All the kids areas are secure too so you won't lose them or worry about them falling down the mountain. Our kids LOVE the slide and birdhouse climbing area. There's a stage for live entertainment close by which we really enjoyed. Lots of food options all over however we really enjoy the lookout mountain restaurant and you have to get ice cream for dessert afterwards. Transportation up the mountain is either by their Ridge Rambler (open bus with no windows so dress accordingly) or the skyline with both open and closed cars (runs really slowly and usually a LONG line). I highly recommend purchasing your tickets online in advance because even though that option is available, many do not opt for it and would rather stand in a VERY LONG line to purchase tickets and then get in line for the skyline. If you purchase in advance and opt to ride the bus like we do, wait time is very minimal and you can bypass most of the line which is a huge plus. (also, the waiting area is by 2 private restrooms in case you need to go before boarding). Even though it's busy, everything is so spread out that it's not crowded which is super nice. Plan to take a backpack to carry items as you will stay on the mountain and it's not easy to go back and forth to the car (could but will take time), plus, it's nice to have in case it's chilly and hot later so you can store clothing layers. Currently, Anakeesta is closed until March for remodels and they've shared ideas and things to come which all look like great additions. We can't wait to go again this fall 2026 to enjoy all the new amenities. Highly recommend for all ages!
