We were thrilled to learn that she had opened Wiggly World Services, and have since taken advantage of those services on multiple occasions. Our dogs stayed with her while we honeymooned in Thailand, and her frequent updates kept us so at ease, allowing us to fully unwind and enjoy our time. We are now becoming more regular visitors for daycare services, and our dogs benefit SO much from the activity and socialization with other dogs and cats! I've attached some photo proof of our happy girl, and our tuckered-out boy. I can't recommend Wiggly World Services enough--please check them out if you're in need of daycare or boarding services.

I can't say enough great things about Morgans Dogs. They are great people, caring and loving to…read moreall their animals, and truly helped us with our anxious German Shepherd Onyx. We sent our 3 year old GSD for the 2 week training/boarding class and it was worth every penny. Onyx came home well behaved, more confident, and most importantly a joy to take on walks. Our experience from start to finish was great. They even posted pictures of our girl on Facebook so we could see how great our baby was doing over the 2 weeks. Some reviewers said their dogs were "different people" when they came back, so I was initially nervous that our girl would come home and not be the same sweet, loving GSD she is. But, Onyx came home a better version of herself! More confident, more obedient and still the same loving dog she was before. Just better! The important thing to remember is that training is a way of life with dogs. You have to be prepared to do "homework" each day with your dog when you bring them home to keep their training consistent and reinforce it. Morgans sets a great foundation and its up to you to maintain it. They tell you this upfront, so while yes, you'll have a great dog after 2 weeks, if you let it go, then you'll be back to square one. Have no fear though, the homework isn't hard. Only about 15 min twice a day, which is easy to mix into our daily routine. And believe me, you'll actually enjoy this kind of homework because your dog will respond fast and remember the training and you'll be more impressed each time. We've even implemented new tricks and obedience moves with Onyx and she learned them fast. Onyx is great outside too, she is less aggressive if we see other dogs (no more crossing the street), and even several neighbors have commented that our girl is now a gentle giant. Overall, I fully recommend Morgans to anyone who is considering training. No matter the age or difficulty of your dog, give Elana a call. She is great to talk to over the phone and made me feel reassured that Onyx would be in good hands. And she understood all the issues we discussed and didn't make me feel like it was my fault or that I was a bad owner because I can't get my dog to heel on walks. Elana is passionate about dogs and an amazing trainer. Oh, and did i mention, free classes for the life of your dogs... can't beat that offer!! Go see Morgans to turn your dog into the dog you always wanted. Thank you Morgans!!

The owner (Jonathan) met me there and answered all my questions. He has thought of everything - double gate system in the lobby, pressurized door that only opens inward, solid wood fencing outside. They had 2 trial daycare days before the big long weekend. On the day of boarding drop-off, when I put Moto in the car first, Bindi lost her absolute mind wanting to go too. She even climbed on the manager and gave her kisses on arrival. Bindi is a very stranger-danger dog who is suspicious of everyone, so that was nice to see! They sent report cards and photos every day, sometimes twice, showing them playing, napping and eating their PB Kongs & pup cups. We didn't even feel the need to call and check on them. The price was much more reasonable than most other places we checked too. We will be using Barksville for all our boarding needs in the future! Thanks guys!

I called barksville to see if they had any availability and they said not a problem, bring them in. I actually started crying on the phone I was so thankful (sorry guys ). Like most dog owners, our dogs are our kids so leaving them can be stressful. Barksville is the first boarding facility we've used that has left us feeling completely at ease when leaving our dogs. When we decided to send our little guy to Active, we immediately felt welcomed. Alex (the pack leader!) met with us in our home beforehand, so he could get a sense of our dog's personality and comfort levels with new people. We were able to build a high level of trust with the entire Active team, simply because they take they time to get to know all of the dogs on a personal level, providing individual attention as needed. Our little guy is definitely a homebody. But when the daycare van arrives outside, his ears perk up and he sprints to the door. That's how I know he loves it :-). We send him there every day now, and I couldn't be happier with the support we get from the whole Active team. I wholeheartedly recommend this service to anyone looking for a trusted group of individuals to look after your pup.

Alex cultivates a culture where people actually get excited to come to work every day. Our dog Lincoln has been getting picked up from Active for 3 1/2 years (since he was a little pup) and there's not been a day where we doesn't wait at the front door excited to see who is picking him up. He's learned vital social skills and always feels at home. This is also the only place we feel comfortable boarding him, as they make him feel safe. If he wants to go in the crate, awesome - it's there for him. If he wants to stay up and stretch the legs with friends, that's cool too. My only advice is, if you're lucky enough to send your fur-babe here, parting ways will be the hardest thing emotionally (both on you and your pup) because this place will quickly become an extended family for you both. Please bring Active to every city, specifically Denver, because every pup deserves a second home as passionate and warm as this place.

She came to my home and her and I went over all of the basics when it comes to taking care of my 'lil Cleo. Alexis listened to my concerns (re: medication administering) as well as my "crazy cat lady" ways of making sure sweet Cleo does not get too stressed during her visit. She took careful notes and did not even roll her eyes when I even provided instructions on food and water refills. haha! I mean, c'mon, that sort of patience in itself deserves an extra star! :) While I was away, Alexis came in for her scheduled visit and, upon conclusion, provided me with an EXTENSIVE email report about my pet (food eaten, bathrooms taken, and general mood). I even got a picture of Cleo, proving that she was alive and well...and also very happy to have had the visit! :) It should also be noted that due to my kitty being sick the night before (as mentioned in the report above), Alexis offered to stop by my place to check on her AGAIN in the a.m., just hours before I was due to arrive home. This way, my mind would totally be at ease during my travels back home. ABOVE AND BEYOND!!!! :) Upon arriving home, I noticed that EVERYTHING was in order.
