See my prior reviews about Halls (once before) and Al my reviews. That's why we come to Yelp. Reliable reviews about reliable places. .Eileen this time was the hard working knowledgeable accommodating plant-ist! Who has ever been to Java and Bali? Well - she has! Came up when I got another Javanese plant like the one I got last time. Last time I got plants for my modest apartment but this time got four times the number of plants. I believe I wore her out because I bought a lot of plants for my office space at work (a lot for me, Mr. Brown Thumb but following Alison's tips I'm getting better at preserving greenery in my life) and I asked they all be potted into great new ceramic pots! It was a hard work out for her that I hadn't intended but she never batted a sigh. Thank you!! Then one of the cheerful blokes that worked there helped me Hall out the plants to my car. (see what I did!) That's when a moment of poignancy via life affirming sadness sprouted out of our chit chat. Tristesse. As we casually compared forearm scars, telling out stories behind our marks that surviving life bring, this came up. His were from a motorcycle spill and I immediately remarked how I walked 800 miles during lockdown and often by Halls' from Summit and not a 1/2 mile down the street from Halls' was a affectionately tended testimonial to a local rider who lost his life out on his bike years ago at that spot. My Halls Helper winced then smiled. He knew the lost rider and had ridden with him a few times. He knew the man, the tragedy and the graveside memorial. He missed him. As I rode by after my car was plant-packed, I cast an eye at that spot and there, in the shining spring sun were brand newly sprouted yellow tulips and an American flag. The rider lives on. God bless Halls Garden Center, its fine American men and women and that brother rider I never knew who was lost too soon but is preserved in memory with that international sign of life and remembrance: plants and flowers and flora freely waving in the breeze. Get to Halls and stop just reading my raves! In a country occasionally fragmented and fractured and allegedly untethered by a lack of brotherhood, of sorority, of kindness, of patient grace and credible integrity, here's a place that's right on time every time you walk into her Hallowed Halls. The secret life of plants ain't no secret: it's all around us. And get the plants from Java!

The staff are very helpful. They took their time giving me tips on my garden and house plant needs.read more

The Primavera Regency - Space for decor

I can't express in words what a wonderful place Primavera Regency is. Usually an event venue can…read moreonly hit the mark on one thing: the food, the ambiance and decor, or the service. Primavera hits all three in every way and they go above and beyond with it. Michael and Edwin were both so lovely to work with, and everyone else that works there is so kind, attentive, and truly care about their guest's experience. Anyone that has ever been here knows the food is next to none -- every single thing they make is high end restaurant quality and that's not easy to do in a venue. The venue itself is so pretty, Venetian style and recently updated. The landscaping outside is immaculately kept. They really know what hospitality is here and they treat you like family, this venue is a gem.

Classy!!! Great venue to host 50 people for an Anniversary Party. They also had a larger room, but…read morethe smaller room fit 50 people perfectly (no dance floor in small room). There was another party going on in the big room, but it didn't interfere with us at all. Plenty of parking in the large parking lot. The bar is lovely (but I will add: there were poor reviews for the house white wine and the Bloody Mary). That is literally the only negative. Food was excellent. Everything else went smoothly. Many people commented how great of a party it was. Kudos to Michael, our event host, who was very attentive and professional. This Venue sent us a box of cookies in the mail as a thank you for booking with them. You don't see things like that anymore!! Highly recommend.

I planned my…read morehusband a surprise birthday party while I was traveling internationally and Mark was really helpful. He was very communicative--even with the 13 hour time difference, I was able to coordinate with him easily. I had my husband be taken out of the house three hours before the party to set up... the balloon arch was delivered right on time. The photographer showed up half an hour earlier than the party. The magician I wanted to hire was booked somewhere else and I only found out a few days before, but the balloon sculpture artist Mark recommended instead was an absolute hit with the kids as well as the adults, which was a pleasant surprise. He made my husband the most outrageous birthday hat. Right when he was supposed to be done, one of the kids tripped and popped his balloons and got upset, and he stayed longer to make him (and a few other stragglers) more balloons. Truly kind. The photographer David was also really so helpful, friendly, and on it! He came early and helped with some of the set up... he was attentive and also very nice to talk to. Very natural (sometimes it's awkward when a photographer's in your face taking pictures but it wasn't awkward at all). We got a USB full of pictures right after the party! Really, what a great experience. My husband had a really great time. Thank you Mark and company!
