I had "Grand High" afternoon tea here - the views are lovely and the restaurant area very attractive. The service was efficient and the cream tea pretty good too! For £9.00 it could have a little more in - it included tea or coffee, a warm scone (delicious) with jam and cream, 4 different sandwich quarters (nice fillings but the bread was not that fresh - didn't bother me particularly but as the menu hints that bread is freshly baked, that was misleading) and a pastry.
The pastry of the day was a very good raspberry cheesecake which impressed me.
All in all I quite liked it, although it might be worth ordering the components separately for better value! It may not come on a cupcake stand but you'll get more for your money ;-)
