I would give it 4.9 stars if I could. Single estate pour overs are the speciality of the house, although espresso-based drinks are also available. Usually one or two roasts are available and Tom will guide you through the right choice. He also runs occasional cuppings in partnership with roasters and these sell out very quickly. If you're hankering for real coffee in Kent, Manifest is the only player in town.

The prices are also good and the food is always fresh. The atmosphere is very nice, it is small so there is never too many people around. They have a selection of newspapers and other things to read which is always welcome when you are waiting for your food to be made (they make the food to order). They also do nice coffee and other hot and cold drinks. I think this is one of the lesser known places to get some lunch in Folkestone but it is perfect for a picnic for the beach during the summer.

There is plenty on the menu to keep everyone happy with a quick and friendly service. I found the coffee to be particularly enjoyable, nice and strong.
