The walls and chairs are a shocking pink, the owner is just adorable and the smell is of baking cookies. We went in for an afternoon coffee and perhaps a nibble on something sweet. We got two HUGE cups of tea and coffee (honestly, the capitals were needed!) a muffin and a cookie (again HUGE) for 4 quid. Yep, 4 quid in total. I know, I couldn't believe it either! It was just so lovely! The perfect place for a princess to enjoy her tea, or ice cream - the ice cream counter looked great! It's got a theme, and that theme is scrupulously applied. I would give it 4.9 stars if I could. Single estate pour overs are the speciality of the house, although espresso-based drinks are also available. Usually one or two roasts are available and Tom will guide you through the right choice. He also runs occasional cuppings in partnership with roasters and these sell out very quickly. If you're hankering for real coffee in Kent, Manifest is the only player in town.
