A can of Diet Coke, and a regular coke with the sandwich was only £4 (what a great deal). People getting off the train were walking right by this place and heading for town, and they were missing out on some great food. We just stumbled upon The Little Kitchen as we were walking through down town. We were cold and hungry. I wasn't sure what to think since we were the only people in the restaurant. The two ladies working the counter were as friendly as can be and showed us to a seat before coming to take our order. We ordered baguettes, a panini and a jacket potato. The baguettes were wonderful. The bread was crusty but also tender enough to easily take a bite. Both the Tikka Masala and Egg+mayo had great flavor. The panini was pressed nice and hot with grill marks and melty cheese. The jacket potato was such a hearty portion. I could see myself finishing a long morning hike on a cold day with one of these. The chili on it was quite tasty too. Of course we all rounded out our meals with a hot cup of tea. All in all for the prices and selection this place is really a nice little gem in Dover.

However, over 12 pounds for a couple of coffees and a couple of paninis, even if they do taste nice, is daylight robbery! And this branch needs at least 1 extra toilet toothere always seemed to be people waiting.

It is so dull and devoid of any atmosphere it makes Starbucks look like Betty's tea rooms in Harrogate. Food wise you have selection of hot and cold food to chose from and with large windows on both sides of the cafe you have great vies looking onto the market square and the fountain. I am actually disgusted by the way i was spoken to so i've ordered off just eat i live 2 minutes…read moreaway from morrisons but because i'm taking care of my 4 year old sister i've had to order the food to my house when the order arrived i was missing my extras i spent £4 on and the beans and the mushrooms were raw i order a lot of food online and i'm starting to realize that restaurants/businesses dont put as much effort in when your order because they don't think you'll actually come in to say something but my order came and when i saw the order i left my house walked over to morrisons having to leave my little sister at home once i got there there was a very polite women who offered to change my food for fresh but i just asked for a refund and then the manager came out and she was absolutely vile in the way she was speaking i informed them why i ordered online and that i have had to leave my sister at home because they messed up my order but because i had a little tone in my voice she then wanted to be very rude saying "carry on and you can walk out with no food" and i was speaking normally and the way she was speaking was completely unnecessary as it's there fault for messing up my order i then persisted that i want a refund and not fresh food as my sister is at home alone but she said you can take the food or you can fuck off which i think is absolutely vile once i got my food they had literally given me back the same food i brang in i didnt realise until i got back but i couldn't leave my sister at home again and i wasn't going to get stressed out over food but i thought i should let you all know on here she should really get some manners and learn how to be professional especially when they are the ones in the wrong
