Well what can I say, the decor was warming and oh so inviting. Not to mention clean and cosy. The owner is a lovely lady, very kind and was happy have a friendly chat whilst telling us about her homemade brownies which were absolutely dangerously delicious (and of course the plate was cleaned with not even a speck of brownie left). The whole afternoon tea selection of sandwiches, tarts, cakes and not forgetting the refreshing and rich pot of tea was all homemade or locally sourced and was oh so tasteful, especially the melt in your mouth scones served with clotted cream and thick jam. Be sure to visit and you wont be disappointed. We cannot wait to return. Be sure to keep an eye out on Groupon for an afternoon tea voucher this place sometimes has offers on there.

The shop has amazing fresh baked pastries and other French foods that are ready for grab-and-go takeaway, as well as the best baguette sandwiches I've ever had. I usually get the baguette with prosciutto and it comes with lettuce, tomato, and I believe cheese mayo (?) depending on what you order. The baguette was the freshest I've ever had and has such a great flavor. It's getting a little cold out now but there is also dine in options in the cafe, including a nice garden area. The atmosphere is calming and peaceful and I love coming here whenever I'm in town. The prices are so affordable considering the quality and amount of food AND the lovely service you receive. I definitely recommend this place!!

On various days and hours there are bustling people shopping for fruits, veg, meats, and other goods. While on other hours the lower level offers tables to munch on lunch items such as freshly made sandwiches, tea, coffee and desserts. Upper level offers proper dining with a rustic feel. Need a loo, that is here too! Overall a delightful experience with several visits during my stay in town
