I see a lot of bad reviews due to sales and price. Yes, it's very $$$ but it works! I have worn custom orthotics for 20 yrs with arthritis and sever pain in one foot. So bad it was getting very painful to walk. Doctors wanted to operate. The difference, your doctors custom orthotics is it's a perfect mold of your already damaged foot! Good Feet's approach is to Correct your foot with their inserts! Yes they are expensive and you need more then one. But they work and more then likely you'll feel relief when your in the store trying them on. My daughter had a similar issue to mine. She had relief as soon as they put the inserts in her shoes! Guess everyone is different but don't be afraid to try this. read more

Before I start, let me say, I'm sure this works for some people. But the experience I had was very poor. When I initially got fitted, I pointed out the the insert for the right foot doesn't fit. We also tried a smaller and a larger size, basically we could only get 1 foot perfect but the second not. I was told to try them so I did, and my left foot fit perfectly, but the right insert was too big. 1900 dollars later (I'm serious), I was told they can't split the sets, so this would never work for me. I went to return them and was berated by Greg. I've never had a store berate me before. I literally went in thinking that this store is fine and it just wouldn't work for me, and I left feeling ashamed and angry. Thanks for making me feel like that even after I clearly explained my problem. You kept putting the blame on me. When I made a clear remark saying oh maybe I'm not a great customer, Greg yelled and said he didn't say that then continued to berate me. I've never had a customer service person ever in my life berate me or shame me, but I have now. Anyway I was going to recommend them and just say it didn't work for me, now I can't recommend it at all. Pro tip, don't treat your customers like crap. Can't wait for your rebuttal post. read more

My husband went to this store for help in getting shoes as he walks several miles a day as an Amazon delivery associate. He had a great experience being educated and fitted for what he needed. The bill for custom orthotics and shoes was a bit over $1700, but we used our FSA account to pay for this and it was worth every bit. We likely would not have made this type of purchase without the FSA money. He had excellent results with the orthotics and almost immediately felt less achey and not needing IBP or Tylenol every morning after work. His muscles in his legs were sore and achey initially as his body conformed to the correct alignment with the orthotics. We would recommend this store if you have difficulties with shoes, aches/pains, etc. Much of the body's aches are a result of the body being out of alignment that starts with your feet. read more

I had problems with my feet since I was 16 and had my first orthodox. I said I was like the princess & the pea, everything ALWAYS hurt my feet. I had gone through custom-made to store-bought and never found an orthodox that worked until I went to The Good Feet Store. Matt worked with me until we found the right fit for me. I was amazed at how comfortable they were. I got 2 pairs! Everyone there was amazing and friendly. They made shopping there enjoyable and that is hard for me since I hate to shop. read more

We went to The Good Feet store hoping to find help for my husband's plantar fasciitis. We were sold the whole set of insoles for over $1200. They never made it an option to not do the entire program. They also didn't discuss price until we were paying. They also never mentioned that they don't do refunds. Now I could understand not giving a refund if the insoles were truly customized, but these definitely are not. My husband also bought shoes per the recommendation of the salesman. However, we found out later they didn't have my husband's size in stock, so the salesman gave him a size larger and never mentioned a thing. We had to go back two more times to get the right size. The salesman also threw other items in the bag and charged us for them without ever telling us it was an extra charge. After a month and a half of trying to make these insoles work, my husband's pain is worse and more consistent than it's ever been. The insoles won't stay in place in the shoes. We've tried every amount of velcro you can think of and they still won't stay in place. They've also started to cause ankle problems for my husband because they keep moving in the shoe. We went back in to make sure he had the right size and get any further recommendations and the second associate measured my husband's feet again only to get a different size than the first salesman. So they aren't nearly as precise as they claim to be. I'm sure these insoles work for some people, but they definitely haven't helped my husband. We are now out $1200, with more pain and supposedly our only option is in store credit. As much as I love shoes, we don't need over $1000 worth of the same shoes. So I have been in pain from poor support with my feet. I have tried so many different insoles and nothing has worked. Everyone has told me about the Good Feet Store. I have put it off for a long time, thinking my pain would be corrected on its own. But it has not and is affecting my work. So today, I took time to go into the store and see what all the praise was about. I went inside and was greeted by an employee. He asked what brought me into the store. I told him my issues and he had me sit and wait for Tracie who came about 2 minutes later. She offered me water and told me to explain what brings me in. So I told her about my pain and I want it gone. So after about 30 mins of her talking, showing me the products and having me field test them in the store, she told me that for all of this ( three different insoles and a life time warranty) that it would be $1200 dollars...... I do not know about you, but I don't have $1200 dollars just laying around. I was speechless and she knew it. I told her that I cannot afford that. She asked how my credit was... again.. my credit is not the best. Then she asked what price range I was expecting. I told her that I just wanted some insoles so I could put into my boots for work to lower my pain. I told her that I was expecting to pay around $50-60 for good reliable insoles. Tracie told me they have two different types of insoles they sell for $149 and $199. I still was pretty hesitant on paying that much for insoles but worth a shot. I tried out the $149 pair and they were much better then what I was using before. So she goes over to ring everything up and calls me over. She tells me the total is $191 and change. I look at the receipt and see that there was a charge for $32 for a Odor free insole that goes through the shoe. The $149 just goes past the arch. But what pissed me off is that she didn't explain it was $32 dollars or anything. She just added it in. It just bothered me she didn't explain the charges. I got my arch training inserts 4 years ago, when I almost couldn't walk because of heel pain. They not only are the reason I can walk, they also reduced my back pain (fractured spine) significantly. Returns are so easy! They really take care of you. They are worth every penny. read more

Traci did a great job. Very professional. I felt an immediate difference walking around the store in the trial orthotics. Still not over the sticker shock. Time will tell whether $1200 for six pieces of plastic is justified. If I understand correctly, I purchased 3 sets of orthotics, but I'm supposed to arrive at the point where I'm wearing only one of the three sets 100% of the time. Definition of a scam is $523 for pre-made insoles and a 20 minute consultation. At no time was price discussed until credit card was in hands of salesman. My time is more valuable than fighting them for a refund. In the event these magical plastic insoles actually work I will edit my post in 3 months. Until then do your own research. Both my husband and I bought their product. My husband is doing well with his. I developed heel spurs after I started using them. If you have arthritis, especially in your feet this may not be the best $1200 you can spend on your feet. I have more pain now than I ever had before. read more

WOW...it's been 2 years now since my life changed from walking into the Good Feet Store in Meridian, Idaho. Two years ago, I was suffering arthritis in both feet, my knees, hips, and back. Once I was fitted in the proper arches for my feet and I walked around the store, I was all smiles! Absolutely a scam! I cannot believe I thought the smooth talking salesman knew what he was talking about! Pre made hard inserts! A piece of plastic worth about a buck! Assured they would get more comfortable if I wore a bit longer each day. Terrible pain that got worse by the minute. Exchanged 3 times and finally gave up! The "nice" salesman refused to return my money. In store credit andone can buy tennis shoes there most likely worth $20 for $135.00!!! Go to a reputable store this one is not! BUYER BEWARE****. I purchased a pair of shoes & succumbed to good salesmanship buying a three pair set of orthotic inserts. I wore the inserts as directed by the sales guy and instructions with the kit. After just hours my feet and legs felt worse. Called Store and was told this was "normal" and that using the inserts as directed would result in happy feet by week's end. COMPLETELY untrue. By end of week I couldn't even wear the lowest of the inserts and only after spending three weeks walking barefoot was I able to shed the painful reminder of buying something that not only hurt me, but were not returnable per Store policy. Now I knew this going in so while it was not a surprise, it certainly made me kick myself for agreeing to such a draconian policy. I was living in California so returning these for alternative inserts wasn't possible. I held a "burial" ceremony at my trash can in California where I threw away $1,000 worth of pain causing devices and tried to bury my stupidity in buying a no return item like this. The shoes I've kept as they actually are comfortable with Dr Scholls inserts! I can buy the shoes elsewhere and will do so, just not at Good Feet! read more

The only reason I gave this One (1) star is that I didn't think I'd get any further with my review unless I did so. This place is a huge Rip-Off! I came in with NO PAIN in my feet but because I had a job standing all day, I wanted to be proactive and keep it that way. I wore the inserts for 4 days and returned them. My feet were now hurting so bad that I had to quit my high-paying job at the end of the month because I could hardly walk. I ended up buying a different paid of shoes and then because I had a credit on my account, they finally gave me what little I had left. These people are NOT trained to diagnose your pain although they have some interesting gimmicks to make you believe so. Go to a podiatrist instead. Stay away from this place. read more

This store is a total ripoff!!! You cannot return the hard plastic insert because they don't allow it. Also, this arch is so hard that it will never "melt" to the shape of your arch. All they'll do is give you a store credit for future purchases. Their selection is so minimal that I can't believe I fell for their "schtick." I then went to a foot doctor who told me that they've heard so many negative things about this place. The insert costs $400 and you're out that money. Rosendahl's is very reputable and I was told that if I needed to return my new inserts, they would give me my money back. The selection at The Good Feet Store is very minimal and you should just go directly to New Balance on the corner of Eagle and McMillan. The insert I purchased felt like golf balls under my arches. A coworker mentioned Good Feet to me in passing when I told her I have plantar fasciitis. I popped in today to see what it's about. The salesman asked if I would have 45 min. to spend there. I said I did. After 20-30 min. I realized this was more involved than I'd expected and I could sense this was going to cost more than I thought. I stopped Lee and said, "I can tell this is going to be more expensive than I'm prepared for. Can you give me a ballpark estimate for what I might spend today?" He said, "Well the arch support you have on right now is $399." I said, "Look, I appreciate what you do and I'm thankful for your time but I'm not prepared to spend that kind of money right now so I should go." He asked how much I had planned on spending and WHY I couldn't spend that amount. I told him I didn't need to discuss my finances with him and respectfully I should get going. He said he had some arches for $99 and asked if I'd be willing to try them and I did. Feeling a bit overwhelmed by his approach I decided I would think on it. I reiterated that I wasn't prepared to spend that amount of money (or more) and he chided me by telling me I should talk to my coworker and ask her what she had done because they do more than sell shoes. His questions seemed invasive and his approach was high-pressure. Had he said something like, "No pressure to buy today, I know this is a lot of money. Why don't we finish the process and then you can think it over and come back when it's feasible for you," you may have had a customer in me. read more

The Scam: Slick radio and TV commercials that tell you that The Good Feet Store "foot care specialists" can solve your foot problems after a short visit to their store. The reality: The employees at The Good Feet Store are not foot care specialists. They are salesman. They have no formal certification or education in foot care. They are not Doctors, Podiatrists or Physical Therapists. They are SALESMAN. Do not be fooled by the commercials. I have plantar fasciitis. Was fooled by the commercials and gave them a try. The salesman did his foot analysis routine which was supposed to identify which insert would solve my problem. Came back with a couple of different inserts which I tried. You get to walk around the store to feel the miracles that the inserts provide. What a bunch of nonsense. What is the cost of this wonder implement ? ONLY $399.00 for these sir. But you should really purchase a complete set which will only cost a paltry $1000.00 A bargain to solve your foot pain issues! Are they guaranteed to work ? No. But we replace them if they break. I should have seen the giant warning signs but I fell victim to the scam. If the product is so good. Why wouldn't they let you try them for 30 days? This is at the most $10.00 worth of plastic. If the foot analysis they are doing is so precise. Why do they come out with several different inserts to try? And why will you end up returning several times because the previous inserts you are given are not providing relief. Because. They are just $10.00 pieces of plastic and will not solve the pain of plantar fasciitis no matter how many different pair they try to foist on you. By returning again and again to try different inserts. You are just being a bigger dupe then you were when you shelled out the first 400 bucks. (you weren't stupid enough to buy the 1000 dollar program, were you??) After months of no relief. I went to a physical therapist who just happened to have written his dissertation for his DEGREE on plantar fasciitis. After several weeks of PT and exercises. I finally found some relief from my condition. First thing I was told by Rob the PT when I told him about the inserts from The Good Feet Store. The overpriced 400 dollar inserts are no better for people with Plantar Fasciitis than the cheapy drug store inserts. Good thing you didn't shell out a grand for 10 dollar pieces of plastic. Diabetics beware! I was fully assured that these Orthotics were great for diabetic neuropathy and charcot foot... This was not correct, I actually got an ulcer wound on my foot and the providers I had to see for 2 months to help it heal are pretty sure that these caused or at least started the wound due to the deformity of my right foot. I was strongly reassured that the roll bar shoes that I paid $100 for would not allow my ankle to roll but due to it making my ankle roll three times as much as normal I had to buy a whole nother pair of shoes because my ankle was so sore from rolling In their shoes. Be ready to spend lots of money and time, remember none of the sale staff are medically licensed to give you any medical advice concerning your feet legs or back. Another interesting fact... I purchased the Good Feet arch supports and wore them for six months until I started having knee problems. Spent a bundle for them too. I am an active person who plays tennis, does cardio classes and walks my dog three miles every day. I was skeptical because my podiatrist had also provided "hard plastic" supports that were uncomfortable to wear and that I finally quit wearing. These "hard plastic" supports were the same, except I spent hundreds of dollars, not covered by insurance. I went back to Dr. Scholl's ($14.99) inserts for plantar fasciitis, and the pain in my knees went away immediately. You can buy a lot of Dr. Scholl's inserts for over $300.00. I'm still just as active as before. My caution is that these inserts may help for a while, but long-term, they are not a good solution. I think they break down tissue and joints over time. P.S. The knee pain has not returned almost a year later. read more
