Very pleasant staff and Dr Anderson really listens to my concerns. He has made my sore foot and…read moreankle so much better. I never wait long in the waiting room.

Botched!!! Adam Gerber told me after a 5 min conversation that he highly recommended I get a low…read morerisk cosmetic surgery that would take about 20 mins. Took him 15 mins. He said the entire set up and recovery would be less than 2 hours outpatient. He told me that if I didn't get the surgery I would have to wrap my toe for the rest of my life. He said he would make a small incision and cut a small part of the bone just enough to turn the bone straight. He said I would be fine after 1 week and back to normal activities in 2 weeks. Never discussed any possible complications. He only said that he highly recommended I do it now because the condition would get worse as I get older. I trusted he had my best interest in mind. He told me he would see me 3-5 days after surgery and remove the stitches at about 2 weeks. He said to make sure I had a responsible adult with me so he could let them know how the surgery went. After surgery, I called the office to ask when my follow up appointment was, and I was told April 1, 2025. I told her I had surgery on March 13, 2025, and I was supposed to see him 3-5 days after. After her arguing with me about 5 mins, I asked her to repeat what I asked her so that I knew she understood what I was saying to her. She then changes my appointment to March 25, 2025 which is 12 days after surgery. When I get to the office, Adam Gerber and his assistant are both confused why I am there. The assistant takes an X-ray & tells me she is excited to show me the transformation of the bone placement her favorite part. She unwrapped my toe partially then covers it back up. She opens the new & old x-ray placed them side by side then walks out the room with no explanation. Then Gerber comes in the room and completely unwraps the toe where I immediately tell him my toe looks botched. I tell him my toe looks like a stub now and almost cut off. He responded by saying he didn't cut much then proceeds to show me the amount he cut with the measurement tool on the on the software. He repeatedly tries to adjust the measurement to try to convince me it was only a small piece. He cant explain to me what he did to me. He said everything was fine, and he would see me back in 3 weeks. I walk out go home trying to understand why I can't move my toe. I call the office back and talk to his assistant to ask her why I can't move my toe. She tells me she will have the Dr call me back. He never did. I immediately contact my primary physician to have him look at it. Gerber told me to shower and go about my business as usual. He knew before surgery that I was a kids sport coach. I had to show my boss and let her know I can barely walk 2 weeks after surgery when I had already told her I would be fine week 2 as per Gerber's words. The surgery center called me the day after surgery to ask if I was ok because I had to leave the center in a rush after surgery. The nurse there seemed the most concerned for my well-being after meeting me once before surgery. He informed me when I woke up 40 mins later then expected that my blood pressure dropped too low and they had trouble waking me up. My uber almost left me because I was still asleep. He had been calling me and texting me. My mom said she asked why it was taking so long and no one ever explained anything to her like Gerber promised he would. Instead, he left immediately after surgery to go on vacation. I asked Gerber why I had complications during my appt where he replied he had no clue that even happened to me. He said that is common response in children and said its obvious I don't use drugs. I specifically told him & his assistant that I was highly sensitive to any narcotics because they both asked why I am allergic to morphine. I told them both I never use narcotics. I asked him before surgery if I can just take Advil that my mom bought me. He said he recommended I take what he prescribed me right after surgery. He prescribed me 25 Percocet's for after surgery. I only took 4 within 2 days because I was having sleep paralysis. The instructions said to take every one every 4 to 6 hours. This guy is not competent in my opinion & does not listen to his patients. Horrid experience and hoping no one ever has to suffer this from him again!
