I don't love the sales approach here. I know they're all about the inserts which are very expensive, but probably worth it if needed. I went just looking for adaptive style shoes for a post-stroke person. I just wanted to glance at the wall, but they have a very defined process to sell you. While the sales person was quite nice, it is very irritating to feel managed when you already know exactly what you're looking for and just need to know if they have it. They put you through their sales process whether it makes sense or not. I wouldn't tell others to not shop here, but I think it's better suited for people who really need to correct an issue that require requires inserts. read more

I'm a middle aged woman with a sore foot. Nothing remarkable, but I could use better arch support. I had a guess that the insoles were expensive, but I thought it might be worth it. Turns out it's an utter scam. 45 mins into the conversation I asked about price and they said it'd be over $1,500 for some plastic shoe inserts. It's predatory. It's not like I was being charged for seeing a medical expert. Nope, just a salesperson selling plastic and a bit of foam. P.S. Started working out again but have had bad foot pain. Decided to try The Good Feet Store. Melanie explained the system all so well. She was very helpful and thorough with information. As I walked in the supports, I could tell a difference immediately. The process was not difficult but plan on at least an hour. I was in store about an hour and 15 minutes. Just got my GOOD FEET inserts 5 days ago and yes they are expensive, much more than I expected. On the positive side my feet have never felt better in years and I actually have a bounce in my step. It takes time with the 3 step insert system that Ernest explained to me and at that time I wasn't sure of the investment but boy am I glad that I gave it a chance. Everyone's pain level is different and how you can handle it also and I got to the point in my life at 71 years old that I was tired of the aches and pain and had to do something different. Will update my review in the future and glad they have a lifetime warranty on the inserts. read more

I love my inserts and have had them for about 9 years. When they break or wear out, they are easily replaced when when in stock at the store. These inserts have cured the pain of planter fasciitis and heel spur. They aligned my whole body and I know when I stop wearing the inserts for a while how much I really benefit from these. I finally convinced my husband to buy these inserts. The the price has more than doubled, so get yours soon before the price goes up again! read more

I feel the need to post this review because of The Good Feet store's commercials. I went into this location due to pain in my left foot that felt like plantar fasciitis (had it before). The gal who helped me was pleasant but told me my plantar fasciitis was do to age (39 at the time) and that everyone's plantar tendon will start to tear away from the heel unless they wear arch supports. She told me their non-custom system run just north of $800. I left and went to a podiatrist. The podiatrist gave me an exam and did x-rays and lo and behold I had a heel spur. I ended up having something called EPAT done to remedy the heel spur... the EPAT treatments solved the problem and cost $450. In short even if you don't have insurance go to a doctor, The Good Feet people cannot diagnose medical issues but they will charge you more than most podiatrists will. read more

I decided to visit the Good Feet Store in Fishers, because a coworker absolutely loved her supports. She had hers for 10 yrs now and only paid 100. Due to the times I did expect them to be higher but not $1100 and it's a 3-part system. They are not podiatrists but sales people. It's outrageous on what they are charging. And I thought the podiatrists cost of 400 was high. To the manager of the store, whom responded, what exactly is a certified arch support specialist? Do they actually have orthopedic background. It was definitely a sell job. And no, there was never any mention about a pair for 100. The salesperson would have no clue if this would have been a possible solution, as my history or issues were never discussed. After many years of seeing podiatrists and orthopedics foot specialists for my arthritis foot pain I thought I would try out the Good feet store. You have to fill out a form with your ailments and physical activity but they literally offer the same thing for everyone no matter what ailment. 3 inserts at $400/pc. Sales person assumed I had a flex plan. She was uninterested in me and her lack of knowledgeable was disappointing. I have an arthritis hard board insert prescribed by an orthopedic dr and she had never heard of one. I was unable to even understand her as she mumbled under her mask. My heels were hurting and my doctor suggested going there. The specialist educated me on the anatomy of the foot and why it was hurting. Ernest measured me for inserts and I was able to walk around the store in them. Almost all of the pain on my heel was gone! I've visited the good feet store because of the commercials. The money they pay for false advertisement is amazing. That money must come from people like me who thought their ads were for real and purchased their faulty product. I use the product for 30 days and it made my feet worse than when I went into the store to begin with. I went back to the store to return them only to find out that they don't take returns but they would give me a store credit. I have no need for $900 store credit in that particular store, there are no shoes worth having from there. And I definitely did not want another pair of orthotics. I could not purchase just one pair I had to purchase all three which was ridiculous to begin with. I was told to try them another 30 days to see how they worked which I did and they still did not work for me they caused me to fall and as I said before my feet hurt worse than what they did when I went in there. I think they are the biggest con artist and rip off company that I have ever had dealings with. I am retired and do not have that kind of money to throw away and they are unwilling to return even part of it. My recommendation is do not purchase anything from them because they have no clue what they are doing. They are greedy and just want the money they are not willing to help people. If I could give minus stars, I would do that because they definitely do not deserve one star for their business. read more

All I can do it copy and paste my post-visit contact to the store here. It was a terrible experience and felt like they were pushing a product rather than compassionately trying to help. I have seen doctors of all kinds for my feet for 12 years, have also done a ton of research and had personal experience for that time as well - you walk in there and they act like they know more than you. Here is my note: "Worst experience. Just felt like I was trying to be sold a product. Barb, the lady that was assigned to me should not be working with in the feet business. First, she would not let me sit down, even though there was a sofa right there. She kept asking me questions and I actually said, "Can I just sit down?" and she said "No." - all because she wanted to print my feet, but she was asking me questions first and I could have been sitting. You do not tell people with bad feet they can't sit down while you are asking them questions that are irrelevant to whether they are standing or sitting. Second, she measured my feet and told me I wear a size 8 1/2. I told her I wear a 9 or 9 1/2 and she disagreed with me. I know my feet. And the measure tool she used had my toe at 8 1/2. I have been to podiatrists, orthapedists and therapists for 12 years and no one wants you to wear shoes that are the exact same measure as your feet ESPECIALLY if you are putting inserts in. Turns out she had to go back and get bigger sizes because she was wrong. Then I told her I didn't want to try the inserts in the shoes I was wearing because they were 8 1/2 and were too snug. I was going to buy bigger shoes. I said that they would be too tight for inserts and she disagreed with me again and said that wouldn't matter. I said it would and she kept disagreeing and the look on her face wasn't pleasant. I have used various types of inserts for 12 years and I know that it makes your shoe a little more to a lot more snug depending. I told her the guy told me that I could try on some bigger shoes with the inserts and she said "Who told you that?" in a snippety way. I said he guy at the front door. So she went to get the shoes - I was with my mother and my mother told me if she were me she would just walk out. This lady was rude from the start and didn't know what she was doing. She did not explain anything to me about the inserts. She just said there were three in the system and put one in the shoe (which she finally had to go back and get a 9 1/2 - and she wanted to put me in an 8 1/2!) and asked me how it felt. I knew nothing about the product or anything. I was not going to waste any more of my time and told her thank you and left. She was the WORST at her job. I almost asked for a different person, but honestly if she's the kind of person that you have working with people in my situation, I wouldn't even want to work with anyone else there. She had no compassion, no manners, argued with me, and was actually wrong. Please consider observing your employees to see if they are treating your customers with the utmost of customer service and care and explaining your product. My experience was terrible." read more

My only experience with this store was not a good one. I do not recommend walking into any of these stores no matter where they are located. I did some research after my visit, which I should have done first, and discovered they do not hire certified personnel. They train their new hires to sell their products with no prior knowledge of biomechanics, foot functionality, shoe fit training, or any other education one would need to work with people's feet. Their customer is coming to them because they are in pain. Why don't they hire specialists who are educated, trained, and experienced to deal with these pain issues? Because they'd have to pay them more than they are willing to pay. They pay on commission not with compassion. This company spends millions on advertising, hiring celebrities to do their commercials. Celebrities do not come cheap. The prices of their over the counter arch support products are outrageous. I am in retail, I researched the wholesale price of these products and discovered they mark these products up as much as 500%. Now we know how they can pay those celebs. That's ridiculous. If you have foot pain do NOT seek help at the good feet store. I had a condition that was made worse by the orthotics they sold me. Not only were they incorrect for my condition, they cost three times the price I paid for custom orthotics provided by a doctor with medical training. I was in a boot for eight weeks thanks to the Good Feet Store, and surgery is in the offing . The evaluation of your condition is the same method shoe stores use to help you pick out a sneaker, but for some reason the Good Feet Store charges around $900.00 for this service! They do not stand by their product. There are no refunds just a store credit for a few pairs of shoes that your great grandma wouldn't be caught dead in! I tracked down the store owner of my place of purchase at the Fishers, Indiana location, who did not appear to care and only response was we are just providing a quick solution to foot pain and we have signs all over the store that says no refunds. Don't be a sucker. Go to the drug store. You will get the same quality for pennies on the dollar.They are just ripping people off. I wouldn't be surprised to see a class action lawsuit coming their way. read more
