When Leibovitz was at 10th and Arlington, I was referred to him for bunion surgery. We met and discussed the discomfort I was having. He suggested surgery and I asked outright is this something you would be able to do. I advised I was referred by a Dr I trusted and wanted to be sure he could straighten out my big toe and reduce a bunion. Leibovitz assured me that this was something he could do and we set the date I had the surgery and was told it went fine. The thing is my toe was not healing. My foot was not displayed and as a last resort I used a medical magnet to stimulate healing I was on crutches most of the 10-12 weeks it took to heal. Finally it was time to unveil my new foot. Leibovitz called in his office staff for the unveil. (I found this odd but thought maybe they were excited for me) What a shock, he cut the center of my toe off by about an inch or inch and 1/2. I remember saying ,"What happened to my toe?" He never told me or my husband that he had made such a grave surgical error It was only when the bandages were removed we found out His reply was,"When I got in there I had to do it". "Why am I just now finding out?", I asked He opened Hymn-haw around. Off I went with a foot I really hoped was healed and a toe that makes the nail technician say," What happen you toe?" Time has passed and my foot health, due to his bad handling, has gotten worst. My big toe has no bone or cartilage and the next toe has grown to accommodate balance. I am in pain constantly, Can't buy shoes and now have a flat foot. I think my foot could have been bound and I would walk better I wrote him about the arthritis and other discomfort he caused and he wrote some patronizing reply about why didn't I come back. Are you kidding he couldn't fix my foot the first time let alone after he brutalized my foot. Just be careful anything over a nail trim beware! read more

Yes, it seems like the simplest option in my case was to do nothing at all. Meanwhile I am paying out of pocket for co-pays, X-rays. And no help for what I was experiencing. Two visits and I'm only told to wear shoes with tight heels. You are a poor excuse for a health care provider. read more

A couple of months ago, I made an appointment for my daughter for the following day explaining to the receptionist that we were seeing PT that day. We were trying to determine what she needed for joint issues. After our PT appointment we canceled our appointment with Dr Jeffrie as we learned a lot from PT. Yes it was in 24 hrs but so was our booked appointment as the receptionist understood-now they keep billing us for $50 even though we NEVER stepped a foot in the office and canceled it the day before she was booked. Ridiculous to think of how billing would be if we actually were seen. Beware!! read more

What a great experience! A pesky pain in my foot led me to Dr. Leibovitz's office. Each person that I interacted with was kind, considerate of my time, and listened to my personal story. The entire staff worked in unison like a well-oiled machine to get me checked in, take my vitals, and perform an examination. They were even able to take an x-ray directly from their office, which made me happy because it meant one less trip I would have to make to yet another medical facility. I am very pleased with my experience and am well on my way to healing and reclaiming my active lifestyle! On July 5, 2016 I was a first time patient of Dr. Leibovitz and I have always had very high anxiety about people touching my feet (since childhood). I have a problem with my nail on my big toe due to chemotherapy and I had inquired about having it removed to bring me comfort but in order to have anyone look and/or touch it I need to be given something to help relax me. Dr Leibovitz does not have any compassion for people and anyone in the medical field must have compassion for people and be able to help a patient feel at ease no matter how ridiculous their fear, anxiety, or nervousness may appear to you it is a great deal to that patient and the last thing you want to feel like is an idiot for feeling the way that you do. My aunt accompanied me for support because she knows and understands exactly how I feel. Needless to say, neither of us was impressed by him. The office staff was WONDERFUL and made me feel so comfortable and really showed concerned to my feelings but by the time Dr Leibovitz stepped in the room and examined me the comfort I was feeling went out the window and I will NEVER return to him for any further medical attention. To the staff: Thank you for making me feel at ease and showing your concern to my feelings and to Dr Leibovitz: Take some people skill and bedside manner courses. I needed to have a toenail removed due to an injury. Dr. Leibovitz explained the possible options, as well as the process completely. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and a good listener. It has been about two weeks since the procedure and the healing process so far has been surprisingly easy. If I have any other problems in the future, I will definitely see Dr. Leibovitz again. I was recommed to Dr. Leibovitz from my PCV I had surgery on Nov. 5th 2018 to remove a toe nail on the right foot, I have had a great lot of pain in this toe since surgery, I told my husband I thought It would be a piece of cake was I mistaken my toe as given me lots of problems since have the nail removed, very painful, I am a diabetic, I have tried all of his advice and after procedures as for as the care, the toe looks horrible with discoloration, throbs uncontrollable @ nights, I wish I had never had it done. I needed to see a Podiatrist for my ingrown toenails on both big toes for some time now. For the last 30 years I have had my mother telling me how terrible her experience was when she had her ingrown toenail removed. So, when I realized it was time to have my addressed, I was none too excited and was not looking forward to the appointment. However, I must say I was very pleasantly surprised that my experience was so positive! First, I was easily given an appointment within a reasonable time frame. Before my appointment I received a phone call to gather personal information before I was seen which made the new patient check in process a breeze! I found the staff to be very friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful! I was much more relaxed because the whole procedure was explained in great detail before and again during. The most impressive part was that there were ZERO surprises after the visit! Dr. Leibovitz took the time to explain what would happen during the healing process and any warnings that may arise.
