He suggested surgery and I asked outright is this something you would be able to do. I advised I was referred by a Dr I trusted and wanted to be sure he could straighten out my big toe and reduce a bunion. Leibovitz assured me that this was something he could do and we set the date I had the surgery and was told it went fine. The thing is my toe was not healing. My foot was not displayed and as a last resort I used a medical magnet to stimulate healing I was on crutches most of the 10-12 weeks it took to heal. Finally it was time to unveil my new foot. Leibovitz called in his office staff for the unveil. (I found this odd but thought maybe they were excited for me) What a shock, he cut the center of my toe off by about an inch or inch and 1/2. I remember saying ,"What happened to my toe?" He never told me or my husband that he had made such a grave surgical error It was only when the bandages were removed we found out His reply was,"When I got in there I had to do it". "Why am I just now finding out?", I asked He opened Hymn-haw around. Off I went with a foot I really hoped was healed and a toe that makes the nail technician say," What happen you toe?" Time has passed and my foot health, due to his bad handling, has gotten worst. My big toe has no bone or cartilage and the next toe has grown to accommodate balance. I am in pain constantly, Can't buy shoes and now have a flat foot. I think my foot could have been bound and I would walk better I wrote him about the arthritis and other discomfort he caused and he wrote some patronizing reply about why didn't I come back. Are you kidding he couldn't fix my foot the first time let alone after he brutalized my foot. Just be careful anything over a nail trim beware!

She gave me options from short term, in office, conservative tactics to a longer-term option of straight-forward surgery. She recommended waiting to see if the short-term option worked things out; I appreciate not rushing to do this work. She was patient, a great listener, provided options, gave me ideas on how to tackle another foot issue and slow down the degenerating process. And, a doctor is sometimes only as good as their staff. The team is kind, funny, and engaging. I've already recommended her within a day to others. :) I do not mess around with professionals when they have a direct impact on my physical health. Upon arriving at the office space, the building is clean and spacious. The front desk personnel are incredibly inviting and pleasant. You are directed on where to go, and you don't feel like you're a bother to the staff; they make you feel like you belong there. I never wait more than a few minutes for any of my appointments. I know that they are swamped, but they are always quick to get you back into the room. The ancillary staff treat you extremely nicely, especially Andrea! They make sure to remember things about you, and it feels very comfortable to be in the office. They do a great job with the before-and-after aspects of the visit, as well as addressing any needs that arise during the visit, including any wraps or other items that require attention. They are also great at getting paperwork back quickly, which makes it much easier when coordinating care with your work. Now, onto the man himself, Dr. Hoffman. I cannot recommend this provider more! He is empathetic; he listens to you in the office, takes the time to answer all your questions, and does so using words that are easy to understand. I did need surgical intervention, and I was so happy that Dr. Hoffman was the one performing my surgery. He was timely with my surgery, and my husband was pleased with the report he received at the end of the surgery. We were provided with all the necessary information to ensure a smooth recovery at home. My experiences after surgery were phenomenal. I really had little pain with my 2-hour surgery. Dr. Hoffman was able to place a block, and it held for much longer than expected, which greatly aided my healing. He made sure I was coming in regularly to the office and listened to every one of my questions. He really took the time to ensure that I was comfortable with my care and was encouraging about my progress. I highly recommend Dr. Hoffman for all your podiatry needs, and I will continue to work with him, as there is another foot still in need of care.

I've been having a lot of pain in my feet again so I returned to the Practice I knew. The front office staff and the Medical Assistant was friendly and pleasant. I only waited a few minutes before being taken to an exam room. The Medical Assistant was organized, thorough and paid attention to medical history details. X-rays were taken minutes after we entered the exam room. It saves so much time having X-rays taken on site and immediately read by the physicians. Dr. Vulanich was personable, great listener, and empathetic to my concerns. I usually steer away from a physician who isn't a good listener so I was pleased she did. After a thorough exam all my questions were answered clearly. I liked Dr. Vulanich and scheduled a follow up appointment with her. If you are searching for a good Podiatrist, I do recommend her.
