Dr. Lockridge graduated from the University of Northern Colorado, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology. She also attended Kent State College College of Podiatric Medicine. She went on to complete her foot and ankle residency at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Lockridge is ABFAS Board Qualified in foot and ankle surgery and is an active member active of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. I met Dr. Lockridge today for the first time. She had a positive attitude with a great smile and professional but personable. She chatted with me and answered questions as she examined and worked on my feet. My nails were trimmed where they needed to be. My nails look and feel so much better after she addressed a couple of areas bothering me. I really like her and look forward to my next appointment. I was in and out in about 20 minutes. She is efficient and tries to get you in and out timely. If you're looking for a podiatrist in the Avon area, I highly recommend Dr. Lockridge.

She gave me options from short term, in office, conservative tactics to a longer-term option of straight-forward surgery. She recommended waiting to see if the short-term option worked things out; I appreciate not rushing to do this work. She was patient, a great listener, provided options, gave me ideas on how to tackle another foot issue and slow down the degenerating process. And, a doctor is sometimes only as good as their staff. At the end of 7 months I saw him for a routine checkup telling him I still couldn't wear a shoe, it burns, stings, & keeps me up a night throbbing, It was red & very swollen. He said that it was fine & just part of the process. Getting a second opinion was the best thing I ever did. ONe week later I saw another podiatrist that had to remove my nail again & it was very infected with a lot of pus coming out of the hole from the so called hematoma. A biopsy of this area that was there from DAY 1 was done & came back Staph infection & a Granuloma. One week out with my NEW DOCTOR I am wonderful pain free & even wearing a shoe!! I cannot believe the difference of the 2 drs. I feel Dr. Runkle treated me as a cry baby & ignored everything I was telling him. I was told I was put on the wrong antibiotic from the get go & that being the reason for the infection. How sad is that. & new dr also could not believe a biopsy was not done of the area of where the hematoma was. Thank GOD I got a second opinion & got my life & toe back :)))))

During the visit, he performed surgery on a sweat gland while joking about how much the procedure was going to hurt. He was right--it was unnecessarily painful, and the pain only intensified in the following weeks. After seeking a second opinion from another podiatrist, I learned that Dr. Agricola had gone much too deep during the surgery. In the process, he severed a nerve, which has caused further complications that now affect my toe. I am now dealing with permanent damage and more pain than I started with. I would strongly caution others before seeking treatment here.

I had my first treatment and have scheduled the follow-up for later this summer. The success rate is high, (higher than topicals) sooooo let's cheer for that! He suggested surgery and I asked outright is this something you would be able to do. I advised I was referred by a Dr I trusted and wanted to be sure he could straighten out my big toe and reduce a bunion. Leibovitz assured me that this was something he could do and we set the date I had the surgery and was told it went fine. The thing is my toe was not healing. My foot was not displayed and as a last resort I used a medical magnet to stimulate healing I was on crutches most of the 10-12 weeks it took to heal. Finally it was time to unveil my new foot. Leibovitz called in his office staff for the unveil. (I found this odd but thought maybe they were excited for me) What a shock, he cut the center of my toe off by about an inch or inch and 1/2. I remember saying ,"What happened to my toe?" He never told me or my husband that he had made such a grave surgical error It was only when the bandages were removed we found out His reply was,"When I got in there I had to do it". "Why am I just now finding out?", I asked He opened Hymn-haw around. Off I went with a foot I really hoped was healed and a toe that makes the nail technician say," What happen you toe?" Time has passed and my foot health, due to his bad handling, has gotten worst. My big toe has no bone or cartilage and the next toe has grown to accommodate balance. I am in pain constantly, Can't buy shoes and now have a flat foot. I think my foot could have been bound and I would walk better I wrote him about the arthritis and other discomfort he caused and he wrote some patronizing reply about why didn't I come back. As of Monday, the final four are gone and I'll be free of the scourge forever! The people to help me achieve this feat (haha, what a pun, eh?) can be located at the Greenwood Foot Clinic. They are so great that even though I live on the north side now, I am willing to drive down to Greenwood for my appointments. I've had a total of five appointments and all have gone smoothly...one last check-up and I'll be done! Dr. Lazar has been dealing with my issues and is wonderful, as are the awesome girls who work with him. It's not fun having things done to your feet but Dr. Lazar is a pro...he's gentle about it, warns you before anything happens, and can distract you with an amusing bit of conversation. Just don't be like me, looking down at the wrong moment during a surgical procedure.
