They keep reporting my husband's dental bills as a joint account, which is not the case. It has been removed from my report at least once, and continues to reappear. North River Perio claims they accept dental insurance, but it's a scam. Insurance companies negotiate reduced rates. For example, a company like Cigna might only need to pay $800 for a $1400 procedure. For that reason, North River Perio prefers patients to pay out of pocket instead of using their dental insurance. To that end, as soon as your procedure is over, while you are still woozy and seeing stars, they will hustle you into a room and threaten you with a collection agency for the full amount before your insurance company has even been billed. 3. Dr. McBrayer's staff could not hold down jobs at Waffle House. They completely lack basic human empathy. I called ahead and then came into the office because I had developed a dry socket after McBrayer pulled a tooth and did a bone graft. I was suffering unimaginably. His staff wouldn't even look at it. I had to get my regular dentist to diagnose and address the problem, which cost me more money. If you have cash to burn and don't mind being treated disrespectfully by Dr. McBrayer's callous staff, then by all means, make an appointment with North River Perio.
