This year, we decided to make the change and I'm so glad I chose Galen Mountain View and Dr. McCallie. From the moment I walked in it was so nice! The office was clean and orderly. The front desk staff were kind. I used the online systems and had my pre-registration complete and the appointment paid for ahead of time... so easy! Then, the medical staff and Dr. McCallie listened to every concern and used their judgement to help me find solutions. In a world where we can "diagnose" ourselves, we need to be mindful that we do not know best. I'm so glad I trusted Dr. McCallie. She found the source of an issue and I had no idea it was even there.

Hamilton Family Medicine has been my PCP for over 3 years now. About six months ago, my motor…read moreskills started deteriorating and I lost my ability to work or use a computer without assistance. During this time, HFM has managed most of my FMLA and disability paperwork. My condition worsened and it got harder to walk. I ended up injuring myself and went to my most recent appointment on crutches. For reasons I will never understand, HFM decided to drop the case at this point and stopped returning my phone calls. Without notifying me, they faxed the paperwork my employer completely blank, with a note saying that they couldn't find a medical reason for my disability, and that my employer would have to make do with whatever they had on file already. I found out about this 3 days after the deadline has passed. Fortunately, my caseworker is being patient with me, and she automatically extended the deadline for another seven days. But until I find a real doctor, I'll have no income, no treatment, and no information about my long-term outlook. It's getting harder and harder to do simple tasks, and I don't really know what comes next.

Mckenzie at reception was friendly and efficient checking me in. Emily, the nurse who took my vitals and history was another person with a warm personality and nice professional approach to the tasks at hand. My visit with the nurse practitioner, Colleen just blew me out of the water. Pleasant, quick to grasp what I was asking for and even faster in meeting my needs. The whole place runs smooth as silk and after working 45 years in healthcare, I am usually NOT impressed. But, wow, I think I have found my go-to urgent care for the future. I was in and out in 45 minutes. I usually wait that long to just get back to an exam room. Keep up the great work and the great attitude. Job well done by all.

Despite the referral being sent over a month ago, and still not feeling well. She did not want to help and wanted argue and ask why are you here even though I was there for shoulder pain.  I ended up walking out and going to another facility and they treated me and I ended up on medications and in an arm sling!!  Do Not go here, the provider do want to help you or treat, they want an excuse not to treat you or help you!! I'm filing complaints with the medical board on this provider.  Worst experience and unprofessionalism I have ever encountered , must less the lack of concern or care that I've even experienced from a medical provider in the 46 years I've been Alive.  I will NEVER use this facility again or will I ever recommend them to anyone I actually care about !!

I have had my implant done here and had a great experience! I brought my boyfriend here to get his implant done as well. Before we were going to start this process, We signed up and got him insurance, I'm no expert on insurance, but I know how to read and I read that extractions were covered immediately not 100% but 80% of it would be covered. During our consultation with the office they told me his insurance would not cover the extraction or anything needed at this time. I felt a little dumb but played it off like I'm not insurance expert. I knew it wouldn't cover anything else but kept reading extractions were covered. We have him scheduled for the bone graft this upcoming Friday, well last Wednesday he started having terrible pain, by Friday he was going to rip this tooth out of his head and this office was closed those three days for the holidays. So I had to get him in to get the tooth pulled somewhere else that Friday, lo and behold the lady At this dental office came back saying Oh, your insurance does cover the extractions up to 80% so all you owe is $60 today.. I thought to myself wow so Dr. Cannon's office must've not even checked.. Fast forward to today I call to explain what happened and when do we need to come back in for a bone graft?.. She rudely tells me on the phone oh, we're not going to just cut him back open and do a bone graft. He'll have to do that when he gets the implant... I have no idea what that means and I just sit in silence on the phone because I'm thinking to myself is that not the next step for the implant because that's what you were going to do on Friday is pull the tooth and put a bone graft in and that bone graft has to heal for a certain amount of time.. I expressed to the girl on the phone that I don't know what that next step means and she seemed to not even care to talk to me about it or explain anything to me, because she absolutely did not. And at this point, the receptionist, both of them alone have put such a bad taste in my mouth. I've decided to not use this office at all.. So moving forward, double check your insurance because they're just gonna try to charge whatever they want, without checking your insurance. And they do not have good customer service.. At all. I'm about to spend THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS here and you're going to act like I'm a problem questioning what is being done? i dreaded everytime I had to call because of how they made me feel. One is more nice than the other but still both not willing to actually help your problems on the phone. Dr. Cannon and the girls in the back are great, But the receptionist just lost Having us as patients here. And when they read this, they probably won't even care just like how they made me feel on the phone. Hope this helps someone who isn't financially well off and made to feel dumb by this office. You're not the only one!
