Hamilton Family Medicine has been my PCP for over 3 years now. About six months ago, my motor…read moreskills started deteriorating and I lost my ability to work or use a computer without assistance. During this time, HFM has managed most of my FMLA and disability paperwork. My condition worsened and it got harder to walk. I ended up injuring myself and went to my most recent appointment on crutches. For reasons I will never understand, HFM decided to drop the case at this point and stopped returning my phone calls. Without notifying me, they faxed the paperwork my employer completely blank, with a note saying that they couldn't find a medical reason for my disability, and that my employer would have to make do with whatever they had on file already. I found out about this 3 days after the deadline has passed. Fortunately, my caseworker is being patient with me, and she automatically extended the deadline for another seven days. But until I find a real doctor, I'll have no income, no treatment, and no information about my long-term outlook. It's getting harder and harder to do simple tasks, and I don't really know what comes next.

I've been in healthcare for 20 years and they do the minimum. Very sub par. I had respiratory…read moreissues some years ago and wouldn't do a pulmonologist consult but sent me home with oxygen. Make it make sense. My mom is a retired nurse of 30 years from New York and Texas and pretty much said she said she hopes she never gets sick because of the quality of care has gone down in the nurses and doctors. The facility is very clean and well kept. They just pass and I am not trusting because I had a high risk of a pulmonary embolism which lab work tested postive and the doctor missed it. Then rushed me to Erlanger main for imaging so I could get discharged.

Billing Scammers!…read more This place seemed all good when I went to the ER for a super bad infection which had me almost totally dead in my ear. All I needed were antibiotics and I would normally go to the VA, but since the VA couldn't get me in force 6 weeks they said to just go to the ER. 5 stars to the ER Nurse practitioner who was good, I spent less than 5 total minutes in the ER and was on my way with a prescription. For that it was $1,800 between the doctors group and Erlanger!!!! So for price gouging 1 Star! Erlanger refused to submit the paperwork for payment properly to the VA according the lady I spoke to at the VA. Then when I talked to Erlanger they told me it isn't their responsibility to bill insurance. So over a year later their doctors group and the hospital separately have me in collections. All this when I have 100% coverage and no copays this the VA. This place will not ever get my business again.

My partner was given steroids for an issue and he had a reaction to them. The steroids were…read morehelping, so he called them and asked if he could be prescribed a different kind. Note, he made clear to the dr that he has had other steroids and didn't have that reaction. It was just this one. (Which she then tried to gaslight me on and tell me he didn't tell her that and didn't tell her the symptoms were continuing. I was in the same room. I hesrd him.) Apparently ignoring that, the dragon said he would have this reaction to ANY type they put him on and that he should go to an ENT because they don't have what they need to do further tests that they couldn't do. (For what? She didn't say. We already knew he had an ear infection from his first visit and the steroids WERE helping until he had the reaction.) When I asked if she was refusing further medical treatment at this time she said No! Of course not! If he wants to come in- Apparently having forgotten that she had said before that they didn't have what they supposedly needed to test him. Insurance fraud on top of everything?

I don't see anything good coming from this , due to the NP being untruthful about what happened, we will never use this facility again, and I still advise against anyone with a special needs family member from taking them to this clinic and I plan on letting other families in the community on other social medias know about this NP at this location.
