I have never had to wait hours in the office like I have experienced with old physicians. My doctor is K. Gooden. She is a mother, a doctor that is genuine, straight forward and goes above and beyond her call of duty. That's a rare find, nowadays. Historically, the doctors I have encountered have been abrupt, short and recommend unnecessary tests or what not. Dr. Gooden does not do this. Ever. Her Assistant Shanna, is also amazing. Goes above and beyond and I am thrilled to be a patient of theirs. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a Primary Care Doctor or a Pediatrician. Pros: Clean rooms, no wait, goes above and beyond. Cons: (can't think of any) they do not offer coffee?! A++++

Billing and scheduling are terrible. They won't tell me if I have a bill due until it is past due…read more I even call them up to ask about the bill and they act annoyed and tell me it is process through insurance. Then I get texts and emails a month later saying it is past due. Scheduling people are rude and they do a terrible job. If they don't like you they will pretend the only available date is a month and a half out and that there is nothing else available because they aren't required to do their due diligence.

My first meeting with Dr. Smith, as well. I found him to be attentive, engaged and pleasant. I am comfortable all the right questions were asked with thoughtful, pragmatic advice given by Dr Smith. I found his dry sense of humor refreshing! I have no qualms in seeing Dr Smith in the future as needs and occasions arise. The Lab bathroom definitely left much to be desired, although, the important parts were clean. I have no idea how often this very high traffic area is cleaned, but just one more time couldn't hurt.

Hamilton Family Medicine has been my PCP for over 3 years now. About six months ago, my motor…read moreskills started deteriorating and I lost my ability to work or use a computer without assistance. During this time, HFM has managed most of my FMLA and disability paperwork. My condition worsened and it got harder to walk. I ended up injuring myself and went to my most recent appointment on crutches. For reasons I will never understand, HFM decided to drop the case at this point and stopped returning my phone calls. Without notifying me, they faxed the paperwork my employer completely blank, with a note saying that they couldn't find a medical reason for my disability, and that my employer would have to make do with whatever they had on file already. I found out about this 3 days after the deadline has passed. Fortunately, my caseworker is being patient with me, and she automatically extended the deadline for another seven days. But until I find a real doctor, I'll have no income, no treatment, and no information about my long-term outlook. It's getting harder and harder to do simple tasks, and I don't really know what comes next.
