i arrived promptly at 1:55 pm for my 2 pm appointment. One of the three receptionist checked me in easily as I paid the $100 co-pay in cash. There was no other patients waiting in the reception area. I was escorted to a medical room at 2:06, and the medical assistant updated my medication list, weight etc. The NP named Mark, that I had been assigned to arrived with a trainee at 2:47 PM! No explanation why he was 47 minutes late. I find this unacceptable. And this was the second time he was late - the first time was the first time I met him. I made sure that I told the receptionist that he is running very behind, and that I would never be returning to this facility. read more

Dr. Jeremy Bruce was excellent with my husband on his hip replacement. When years later he was losing feeling in his arms and legs below the elbow and knees he could have tried to keep treating him, but insisted he go to a neurosurgeon. My husband went to the Neurosurgeon, and it was determined he had a spinal cord injury, and the main trunk nerve was compressed in his neck. He is on the slow road to mending I have to thank them both. Now my husband needs to have his other hip replacement done. I hope Dr. Bruce will be able to do that for him as well. read more

Dr. Lowery peformed an ablasion on my Lumbar Spine he talked to me through the procesure really helped keeo me calm as i was terrified. But all whent well an it has certainley helped my lumbar spine. So if you are sceduled to have this procedure an nervous about it dont b very much worth it. read more

Dr. Bruce is an amazing doctor. He listens to what you have to say. He explains the procedure in normal terms so you know what to expect.

I was referred here through the VA and was treated with total disrespect over the phone by an employee named Donna Gene. I was told to bring a certain document which I informed her that it would take time to get that information from the VA. This person gave me and my wife such an attitude and was totally rude. My wife actually called back and told her we will be reporting her to the VA and she hung up on my wife. Total POS person and this Doctors office should be embarrassed to have someone like her working there. read more

The staff is the issue at this location. The office seems very chaotic, and the receptionist operator and scheduling staff are rude, short, uncaring, and uncooperative. The doctors are top notch, hopefully they can get with the office manager and get the staff some training on their attitude and customer service skills. There are other doctors in this area, and I would suggest using another office to avoid the rude and arrogant staff. The arrogance of the scheduler makes it feel more like your dealing with the DMV than a healthcare entity that cares for patients health. Also, it's difficult to get assistance because of long hold times and then you get dumped into voicemail. No excuse for the attitude problems at this location. read more

Dr Higgins is absolutely the best for hip replacement surgery in the region. Anterior approach method had my recovery rate at about half of that of friends that had a posterior approach method. I highly recommend Dr Higgins, manner is great and he took the time necessary to explain what he was going to do, why he was doing it and exactly how it would benefit me. Pain level was minimal after surgery. Went home that day and was walking better than when I went in! Amazing results read more

Not only did I wait for almost 6 hours in the office to be seen....called the nurses desk to leave a message the next day to tell them they never asked me what pharmacy we wanted...so no meds called in....now they are closed and still no call back. Wow! read more

Dr. Peter Lund is the best. He is very thorough with everything, examining your injury and giving all the possible options of treatment. I like that he even talks about possible future treatments after I have another followup appointment. read more

My complaint is not with the surgical care I received, but with the nitwits in the Walk-In Clinic. I had knee replacement surgery on 4/2 at Erlanger East, and went home 4/3. On 4/11, I went to see my primary care physician, who verified that I had a UTI. My knee was swollen twice it's usual size and the wound was red. I was told to go up to the Walk-In Clinic so they could check out the wound. I arrived there about 2:30 P.M. and was told to wait. Numerous people were seen ahead of me because they were returning with a recurring condition, although none of them appeared to be in pain. I sat there for 3 hours, while the moron assistants ignored my swollen leg, moans and obvious discomfort. Finally, at 5:45, I went to a patient room and got the prescription I needed. I would like to see all of those idiots fired, or at least written up for their treatment of me. Never go to that place, it is horrible! read more

To whom it may concern: You, as a medical facility where I am a current and repetitive patient, have offended me for the last time. On Friday, May 19th, 2017, I received a collections notice for services rendered at your office on January 30th, 2017. Seriously, a collections notice? How is it I never received an invoice for this day of treatment? How is it that I frequently visit your office yet no one has the courtesy to inform me I have an outstanding balance? Are you planning to blame your "new computer" system like you did the last time this happened? That's correct, I said "last time". It was embarrasing enough to have you pull this stunt on me a few months back and, after verbal resolution of that billing mistake, you go and repeat the very same thing? Honestly? You make me wait in your lobby for a scheduled appointment- not a walk in, a scheduled appointment! Then, you proceed to tell me that the "system" is causing delays. Who says something like that? That leads me to my next point of contention I have with your office- the lack of action when it comes to copay collection! Your staff never asks for the copay at the time you sign in. Then, they never ask for copay at the end of the appointment either! They're just in a terrible hurry to get you scheduled for the next appointment and never share that you have an outstanding balance- like other medical facilities do! This is outrageous and unprofessional in all aspects when running a facility- medical or not. I'm there as a legitimate patient, with a medical issue who just wants everything to move forward to a point of relief or elimination of the issue- not get mocked by your billing system and turned over to a collections agency like a criminal! I expect nothing less from you than swift resolution, a genuine apology and your absolute guarantee that this will never happen again. read more

This place has no concept of the importance of other people's time. We have visited multiple times both with an appointment and without. One time we were seen on time, and that was only because it was for a procedure. We showed up 40 minutes early for an appointment and still had to wait more than 45 minutes after our scheduled appointment time. Walk in clinic was a 4 hour wait, wait to see a NP was more than 40 minutes. Registration staff are miserable and grumpy. If you make an appointment here, pack a lunch and clear your calendar for the day, because these people have no respect for your time. read more

I've never personally met anyone at this office,but they're amazing. Here's the short story, I've had horrible horrible knee pain for 2 decades. I've seen dozens of Orthopedic surgeons, who never found d anything that helped the pain or could explain why I had pain. I found a doctor in San Diego that diagnosed me in 5 minutes. Everything finally made sense!! Except she's never done the surgery (break my femur & tibia and rotate them to where they should be) and finding anyone who's done this rotational surgery before is impossible. My doc sent me a study on my condition, miserable malignment. I read that thing about 5x's if not more. Luckily having been a surgical tech, I the language. So being my crazy self I Google the Dr that wrote it. DR. DAVID BRUCE, I called in tears & asked if I could speak with him. I left a message & his nurse Ginger called back the next day (she's awesome)! I couldn't believe it. They wanted my records. Dr Bruce reviewed them, assured me that I needed the surgery & answered all my questions. In our 30min conversation he made me feel totally at ease, he was one of the nicest people I've ever talked to. He told that since my condition is so rare there's no support group & I'm not going to find anyone to talk to so he said if I ever had questions about my surgery or needed someone to just talk to that I could always call him. He offered to fly out to San Diego to do my surgery. Well I've since had the surgery done by San Diego Dr & am currently in bed healing but I couldn't have done it with out Dr Bruce. I am 55 and had both knees replaced at the same time on June 2, 2016. I followed my Dr Bruce's instruction and keep them moving. 4 days in hospital, 2 weeks in home PT and 3 times for 4 weeks of outside PT. Stopped using walker after 2 1/2 weeks and back to work in 8 weeks. Doing great with 125 bends in both knees. Supportive husband, listening to your body, and following directions are keys to success. I still have some pain and swelling after long days but am confident this will improve. This has been hard but absolutly worth it. read more
