We called on July-7-2022 for a teeth cleaning appointment. We were given the appointment for 8:00AM, Wed, Aug-10-2022. We confirmed our appointment on Aug-7-2022 and Aug-8-2022 when we received the text messages to requesting us to confirm the appointment. We filled our online patient forms and requested time off from work for this appointments. On Aug-9-2022, one day before the appointment time, someone called Karina from their office saying they can't finish all the things that need to be done for our appointment and we need to come back again. Their excuse is that they didn't realize that we need to do the X-ray and month exam, which they should know from the first place since we gave them all the information they need more than a month before the appointment. It wasted our time and messed up our work schedule, it is very very bad experience. Out of upset, we canceled our appointments with them and will go some where else. read more

We left Doyle Dentistry when my 16 yr. old got 20 questions as to why his Mom (me) didn't come in w/ him to his cleaning appointment. I was outside on a call in my car. The dental assistant was asking him questions like "Does your Mom always let you go to appointments by yourself?" I came in towards the end of his appointment and was made to feel like a bad parent. There was NO way I was going to continue taking my kids there. I agree with the review that says the dentist and her staff are fakey. There are many good dentists in Ooltewah, Doyle isn't one of them. read more

They were very friendly. However, after my exam I was told that I would need full dentures that would come to $11,000 after insurance. I explained that I absolutely couldn't do it and that's when the mood changed. It was either the dentures or pull the one tooth I needed to have pulled without the option of a partial. I was told, "you'll just leave with a hole where the tooth was," in a very condescending tone! It's all about appearances and money! read more

I've had the same dentist most of my life other than my time spent in the military. My wife decided it was time to switch dentist and I'm glad she did. Dr Doyle and her team are fantastic. From the time you walk in until the time you leave, it feels like you've known the entire staff your entire life. They do customer service like no business I've ever seen. The atmosphere is inviting, the decor is magnificent, the music is soothing, and they have state of the art technology. My wife and son went a few weeks before I did and they remembered everything about them, including the corny jokes I told when I went to meet them. I don't think I've ever looked forward to going back to the dentist, but I honestly can't wait to until my next appointment. Dr Doyle and her staff are very professional and make your comfort a priority. The waiting area and patient-treatment areas are cozy and inviting. Each patient area has its own TV, and you will be offered earphones. I'm a fidgety person, so I always request one of their soft throws to hide my fidgety hands. (The staff feel like family to me!) You'll be asked about your comfort throughout your visit, and they're responsive to any concerns. I have Sjogren's Syndrome, and Dr Doyle prescribed "magic mouthwash" to help with my intermittent oral pain. I'd never heard of "magic mouthwash" till Dr Doyle told me about it. In addition to getting an appointment card, you'll get reminder emails and text messages. read more

The facility is very nice and filled with the latest and greatest dental technology. I felt more like I was entering a cosmetic facility than a dentist office. During my first visit, I felt as though I was having the most thorough dental exam of my life. I soon figured out it was their opportunity to identify any and all possibilities for an up-sale. Veneers, gum surgery, a special toothpaste and rinse and a Sonicare toothbrush were suggested and available in the office. Btw, I take exceptional care of my teeth and spare no expense for NECESSARY treatment. I left feeling as though I had just experienced a high-pressure sales pitch. But, I went back six months later for my cleaning. I had high hopes. This time, I was offered a fluoride treatment, (for an additional charge) gum graft surgery and a SLEEP STUDY to identify teeth grinding habits during sleep.... And the best part, it could all be done in their office. When I declined all offers, the dentist did not even come in to check my teeth after my cleaning. Needless to say, I won't be back. read more

On a tooth prepared & ready for a crown, the total was $1700 to have a crown placed. Let that sink in. I'm fully convinced you're paying a purple tax for this beautiful office. Dr Doyle, staff, &, of course, her luxurious office couldn't be any nicer, but there's no way a crown should cost $1700. Unfortunately, after using nearly all of our dental benefits in one visit, again, we're changing dentists. read more

The office is very nice & all the staff are very sweet but they all seem very fake, along with the dentist herself. I was told I had to have $8000 worth a dental work and that insurance wouldn't pay a penny of it. Well turns out, after a second opinion, I do not have to have this done. It is all cosmetic, and isn't a must, just a want. She must be trying to get money out of patients to pay for that new office of hers. I have always been one of those people who dreaded going to the dentist, but for the first time in my life I can speak positively about my experience. I am so glad that someone recommended Doyle Family Dentistry to me. The staff was helpful and friendly; Dr. Doyle was kind, welcoming, and professional. In addition to the amazing staff, you leave feeling much more educated about the condition of your teeth. In the past, I would go to the dentist with a sense of dread, not knowing what to expect or how many cavities they would find, but Dr. Doyle and her staff show you photos of your teeth and explain what is going on and why. Now, I can go to the dentist with an idea of what to expect, based on what I learned from my previous visit. And I am taking better care of my teeth, because I know what areas are more vulnerable to future issues. I have already recommended this practice to many people, and I will continue to do so. Bonus: You get your own tv w/ headphones, so if you want a distraction while they are taking care of your teeth, you can watch television. read more

The procedure areas are "spa-like" and comfortable and they have top line technology to treat you and same day crowns is always a plus. Good dentist, but billing procedures are very annoying. They send out statements with threatening comments and no details when insurance doesn't pay what "they" expected it to pay. The comments were very offensive to me and completely undeserved. read more

If you want to have unnecessary work done on your teeth and get ripped off on paying for treatments, then this is the dentist for you. If you go to this dentist, which I highly do not recommend, get a second opinion on any diagnosis Dr. Doyle gives you. From my experience and the impression that I got from visiting this office for the past year, they are all about money. Their billing system alone speaks for itself. They require that you pay the full cost of any treatment up front at your visit, even before filing the claim with your insurance company. I imagine that they need to bill patients the way they do to keep their office looking as nice as it does. Also, if you have any questions for Dr. Doyle, you better ask her during your scheduled visit or else you can forget about getting an answer until your next appointment in 6 months. You actually only get to see Dr. Doyle once a year because she won't examine you at the regular cleaning and examination appointment, only when imaging is done. I just found a new dentist and I will not be going back to this office. Other reviews about the staff being courteous etc. is true, but I'm more concerned about my teeth and getting necessary treatment more so than good chair side manners. read more
