Specialties
Dr. Mitch Baldree is a prosthodontist — a specialist in complex restorative dentistry — and the only American College of Prosthodontists-listed prosthodontist serving the region between Nashville, Knoxville, Atlanta, and Birmingham. His practice at Southside Dental Arts in Chattanooga focuses on dental implants, crowns and bridges, dentures, full-mouth rehabilitation, and comprehensive general dentistry. This is a privately owned, doctor-led practice — not a corporate chain or DSO — where Dr. Baldree sees every patient himself. Appointments are never rushed. Treatment is planned for long-term function, comfort, and natural appearance, not for volume.
History
Established in 1991.
In 1991, Dr. Mitch Baldree joined and, soon after, purchased the Chattanooga practice of Dr. Jim Phillips on Carter Street. He moved the practice to its current home on Main Street in Chattanooga's Southside district in 2001 — a 100-year-old building he restored himself, earning the Project Preservation Award from CornerStones Historic Preservation Organization. He brings the same meticulous care to his patients that he brought to that restoration.
