He also truly enjoys going... he anticipates the drive there and yells out, "There's my school!" when we turn the corner onto Coal Mine. :) I was even more convinced we made the right choice when, at his Kindergarten informational night, we were given a handout of the "80 things your child should know to be ready for Kindergarten" and our son had 78 of them down pat already. And he still has four more months of preschool left! My daughter has another year until she's in pre-K, but guess where she'll be going? :)

We interviewed with La petite academy and It went very great friendly and they just made you feel comfortable. Our daughter was scheduled to be there from 10 AM to 4 PM I was nervous leaving her because she wasn't yet completely potty trained so I decided to put her in a pull-up just in case.. when I picked her up her teacher ""Emily""" told me they had gone outside and I really should bring snow pants and boots for her next time but for the time being she borrowed extras which was fine with me. As the conversation continued I asked her if my daughter used the potty or hadhad any accidents today, she replied with "" not that I know of""" when I went over to greet my daughter .. the bottom of her pants and socks were soaking wet. I was pretty annoyed because she had extra change of clothes. As we are getting ready to leave and she stood up her pants were sagging down because of her pull up was full of urine.. she was not changed all day. When I asked to speak to the supervisor """Andrea"" I was told she was busy in the infant room.. I called several times that day and never got a callback. As to this day I've never heard from her.. do not put your children in this daycare..

They encouraged my husband and I to pop in whenever we wanted (even before her official start date), and are so kind when I just need to sneak in some baby snuggles and breastfeeding before packing her up to leave. They have been super accommodating of dealing with her cloth diapering and letting us know when we're running low on supplies (if you go with disposable diapers they actually provide those for you!!). The phone app is great too, they send you constant updates throughout the day of how much and when she's eating and going potty...they have even sent over the occasional picture. We love it here and LOVE the staff in the infant room!

My infant son started at another day care center in Thornton when he was about 7 months old. When…read morewe moved to Littleton we needed to find new day care around 9 months of age. Within a few weeks I saw positive changes in my son that I attribute directly to the people who manage the infant room at Peak. He was much more interactive, happier, and his personality started to blossom to our satisfaction. He also settled down and started to take naps, which he never did at the other day care or when he was home with me. I observed that he felt safe and secure and responded with enthusiasm to the ladies who run the room. I saw the teachers exhibit a lot of patience with the babies as well as delight as the babies grow, learn and play. The woman who runs the infant room and her assistant are extremely well-organized, dedicated, and there is no question that they love babies! My son has now graduated to the next room and I was apprehensive about the change because both he and I were attached to the infant room. To our relief, his transition has gone more smoothly than we could have imagined. When I drop him off in the mornings, he runs into the classroom and knows what he's supposed to do (usually sit down at the table for breakfast). When I pick him up, he is in a good mood with a smile on his face, has been well-fed and has usually taken a long nap. Peak is not perfect, but they take responsibility for their mistakes, which is what I expect a professional organization to do. When they made a mistake in how much they were charging us, they immediately addressed it with me and told me how they would correct the error. They followed through with their plan. I'm sad to see that Travis H. recently had a negative experience with Peak and I'd like to respond to some of his observations. I have also seen staff in the mornings eating their breakfast & reading on their phones in the lobby. But I always attributed that to that person being available to open the front door during the busy time of the morning (security is taken seriously at Peak--parents are not given the door code; you ring a doorbell to gain entry). I have also seen kids older than my son being corralled in the hallway with strollers, but I have not observed the use of phones being taped to the walls. When my son graduates to the classroom where these actions may be taken I will certainly find out more about the reasoning behind these methods, if I observe them. As far as being understaffed goes, I understand that it's really difficult to find staff for day care centers because its a demanding and low-paying position. In the past 7 months we have been at Peak, staff has remained stable. I see the same faces staffing the classrooms everyday--they are friendly and often stop to tell me little stories about my son. So far, I know about only 1 departure which was due to personal reasons. Taking into account all the pro's and con's, we are overall very satisfied with the level of care here.

Trailmark is like an extension to our family and we trust them as much. They are extremely good with our children and very accommodating to the needs of busy working parents. We've invited many teachers into our home to baby sit on weekends and have had nothing but good experiences.The center director, Kelly, does a great job hiring quality teachers. Our children love Trailmark and have learned so much it has made the transition to kindergarten very easy for our oldest. We will keep Trailmark in our family for a very long time.

The owner, director, and staff are top notch and are always considerate of the needs of the families it supports. Throughout the year they have stayed open in storms and offered care when Jefferson County schools are on spring or winter break. Enter COVID-19. Our girls were out of school for almost 3 months and it was blatantly obvious that they needed the interaction, structure, and curriculum that school offered. During this whole epidemic they have done everything they could to keep the kids and staff safe and I'm proud to say that they succeeded and exceeded all of my hopes. They deep cleaned every day, wore masks, and still kept their connection to their kids. Today is our last day of school at Primrose Ken Caryl as Kindergarten starts next week.
