FINALLY!! It's been a few years that I've been wanting to come and check out this place, and I'll tell you, it was certainly worth the wait! I had a girls dinner planned for a Sunday and had a reservation although it wouldn't have been necessary that particular evening. Service was amazing, and I wished I had the servers name so I could give a shout out to her awesomeness! There were 4 of us at the table and ordered the pate appetizer to share and it was great. Came with a bunch of different pickles that were a nice add on to the creamy pate. The freshest bread I've ever had was also brought to the table which we devoured rather quickly. We all ordered the prime rib special which came with a humongous Yorkshire pudding, mashed potato, and beautiful combo of veggies-beets, brussels, carrot and celery root. I order prime rib whenever I get the opportunity and it was probably the best one I've had yet. Done to perfection and melt in your mouth tenderness! If you are ever in the area, you must stop in for a cozy dining experience. I can't wait to return and try some other menu options.

Beautiful and cozy ambience and service was nice. Food was decent, nothing that wowed me. The pre dinner bread was really good (home made tea biscuits) and dinner rolls. We had the Mussels for appetizer, very good.We had the Filet Mignon, cooked as ordered.Bit small for $30, seemed like maybe a 5 or 6 oz cut.Server brought 3 different chutneys to try with dinner also very good. Bit pricey for what you get but we knew what to expect from friends who recommended this place. Would go back, but not planning soon.

Chicken pot pie has mashed potatoes in a soup kind of thing, taste ok but the pastry on top was very hard and dry

As expected there was no seating available due to Covid-19. The food quality from the hot table was moderate (hence the 3*'s). Had a salami calzone for lunch. We also bought a blueberry/strawberry scone/biscuit. I deducted a star cause the biscuit was virtually tasteless. Almost zero taste! Found that strange considering the cost was $3.50! I'd do over but just the gelato this time.

We got almond cookies, hazelnut cookies with chocolate, pecan butter tart, strawberry cheesecake, apple strudel. My son thought the strudel was sweet. He likes uncle tetsu cheesecakes which aren't too sweet. The almond cookies had too much vanilla in them. There was an aftertaste that wasn't the best The hazelnut had the same issue. The butter tarts were good. Sweet not overly runny. You could bite them and they didn't drip out but not a firm Filling either. My friend bought the chocolate pecan? Butter tart and it was quite good. The I thought the chocolate added to it. Was worried it would make it too sweet. The Apple strudel was pretty good. I always like pastry no filo please!!!! Anyways kinda reminded me of what you'd buy in a store. I think the filling is the kind that comes from a bucket. So I don't think I'd get again unless I was in a strudel mood. I do have a weakness for strudel. Saturday mornings at st Lawrence market has a better one if she is still there. I definitely need to go back to Try the food!!'

Had a Salted Caramel Latte with store made almond oat mylk (yes, store made!, we were wow). Made amazing and tasted good. The espresso shot a bit weaker for our taste, so. next time we will have to add an extra shot of espresso. Chai Latter with a ginger shot and again made with store made almond oat mylk. Good taste, would definitely have this again with a slightly more ginger flavour. We had a vegan chocolate chip - and that was the best cookie we have had in a long time. The sweetness, the crunch, the chunks and nuts - OMG to die for. A more advantage - a short trail steps away - to burn away some of indulgence!

I personally had the carrot cake and it was moist and flavourful. Just delicious! The coffee was pretty good too. They didn't have very many options but we also came late in the day so that's probably why. I can see this being a popular spot to come study or work.even the staff are nice and welcoming. It very cozy and warm feeling. I also love the turquoise cup and I feel like the branding is very good. So while it is sort of expensive it still is delicious.
