Glass in two bathrooms, which were both custom to each one. Perfect look in each and the company is easy to work with.

We had six windows to replace…read more(which met their minimum) and the owner Eugeniy responded to my Yelp request quickly, scheduled my consultation for the same week, and was responsive through every step. The sales person Charlie met with me and took the appropriate measurements, was respectful of my time, and gave us plenty of options. Their professionalism was what sold me on the company--they were not trying to upsell me, or overcharge like other companies would (one other company gave us a 3 hour sales pitch and quoted 20k for the same six windows). Universal gave us a reasonable price and didn't take up unnecessary time. Eugeniy personally ordered the windows to the custom measurements, and when they arrived he brought one to store so that it wouldn't be damaged in transit. He had recommended that we install a new window in our exit door and it was the right call--that entire area looks much improved! The installers were prompt, professional, and the end result was clean, precise, and expertly done. Eugeniy himself came to check the quality of their work and made sure it was done to his standard before receiving the final payment. It is difficult to know who to trust with these projects--if you're looking for knowledgeable professionals who will meet your budgetary and time constraints, with great communication this is the company you want to go with. We will definitely be back in the future for other windows in our home!

Charlie showed us different options of things that we could do to save money without changing the footprint. Eugeniy kept us informed on the timeline as the windows were being made and then as the installation crew were installing. The installation crew were very tidy, professional and had all 32 windows installed in 2 days. Eugeniy stopped by to inspect the work. Completely seamless for us and by far our easiest home renovation project. I highly recommend Universal Windows Direct Of Atlanta.

From our first low-pressure consultation with Allen, to scheduling measurements with Nancy - and her INFINITE patience with us pushing out the timeframe due to other work being done at our house, to Steve and the amazing installation crew, our experience with Pinnacle was easy, professional and top-notch from start to finish! We love the new windows and highly recommend this company! Great job - thank you for everything!!!

I received a called from a gentleman from pinnacle later in the evening after an morning email dialogue with a person from pinnacle. As we began to work out scheduling, he asked me if my wife was going to be around for the appointment and I said no, due to the fact that she would be on assignment in California. And not only that, the home is in my name solely. He proceeds to get nasty with me, tells me, "I likes getting a check so if your wife will be there then I'm going to cancel the appointment" and he hung up on me. I was dumbfounded. But what he didn't realize is that I had the phone on speaker due to the fact I was taking my Wife to the airport. My wife and my Aunt heard every word he said and they were just as dumbfounded. Pinnacle really screen who they have calling and setting up appointments because this call was totally unprofessional. Well, there are Plenty of great window companies to replace my 23 windows. On to the next one.

Our experience with NGRW began both from a personal reference (same customer with two previous home…read moreinstallations/replacements) and a professional reference (head sales guy personally vouches for them), so we knew there were some reputations on the line for the referral. Jonathan (owner), Kevin (salesman), Jeff (installation foreman), Clint (QA/project mgr), and Christine (accounting) were responsive, timely, and thorough in their explanation and clarification of all charges, transactions, and day-of processes. We got an estimate for 18 window INFINITY replacements (upgrade from 1970s construction) including two large picture windows, in early April 2020, with installation on May 26, 2020. After a wonderful day-of installation experience, we moved forward with french door MAX CRAFT replacements for the singular front door; installation occurred on July 24, 2020. The front door had some irregularities in the sealed glass panes and required entirely new door replacements after the initial framing was installed. The QA/PM (Clint) personally oversaw the replacement process to find the best door panels with the least glass imperfections, especially knowing that we will (have) look out new front doors regularly! NGRW was wonderful in working with us to secure project funding (Synchrony), include credit card deposits, and augment final settlement with cash funds. Once you buy even one window with them, you are locked into pricing for life! The manufacture of these fiberglass windows avoids the warping with vinyl and rotting with wood; the insulation presents a new level of sound insulation (we live on a busy through street) and better climate control in summer (our upstairs HVAC died at the end of the cooling season) and winter. We are now moving on with window replacements at the back of the house, along with a new backdoor of a more-simple design. We refer Jonathan and his team to anyone/everyone looking for window--or door--replacements, and we are happy to be included in their business family for the life of our home ownership.

Later initiated and signed separate order to purchase additional lockset for back door to ensure same cylinder keying. Received text and email messages on December 9 and December 11 that project is now on hold and that my action is required. On Dec 10 I scheduled installation dates with NG but salesman is no longer in loop and no NG project manager or specific contact person has been identified. Today called NG back again but nobody can explain why project is on hold again. Hopefully project will be completed soon and everything will progress OK. Not a warm feeling that all is well.

We…read morejust received our gas bill for the first full month after the window installation and it is $75 less than the previous month's bill. Also, during the month of February we also switched from an electric stove to a gas stove so that added to our gas usage and we still saved $75 the very first month. Our electric bill was also a good bit lower. It will be interesting to see our electricity savings this summer when the a/c is on. When you compare the 4.034 therms per day prior to the new windows being installed to 1.838 therms per day after, you can see that we are now using less than half the gas therms, even with now cooking with gas instead of electric. Even with this savings, it will still take many years to recoup the cost of the window purchase BUT the comfort of not having a drafty house is also a huge benefit to my family. The other thing that we have noticed is that the road noise is significantly less. We live on a four lane divided highway with lots of traffic. Other than the loudest mufflers and big trucks we no longer hear the majority of the traffic unless the roads are wet and even then it is subdued from the previous level with single pane windows. The team at Atlanta Area Windows and Door were great from Mark to Walt to the installers. It was a seamless operation. I would highly recommend their company.

I have used Atlanta Area Window & Door 2 times for front door installation at two different…read moreproperty locations. The first time, I'd give them a 5 star. But the second time, I'm giving them a 3 star. I don't have much to say about the first experience since I thought that they did a great job that I hired them for the second job. However, the second job was riddled with issues and heartache. I shopped for quotes from different companies and I awarded the job to Mark and his team. The reason I award the job to Mark is not due to the price but due to the thoughtful and experienced comments he made and when he addressed my questions. I thought that this guy was someone who care and was not in the job just for the money. However, Mark is not the one that actually does the door install. He had a different team install the door and that would be fine as long as there were no issues with the door install. But there were issues. The installation team are great people - someone you could grab a beer with and chat. But they lacked the problem solving and attitude of someone who owned their own business. Issue #1: After the door was installed, the door did not close well. I had to push extra hard to get the door to shut. I asked the installer if there is something he can do to fix that. He did what he can on installation day (took an entire day to install and they worked past 5pm) and had to come back on a different day. On the second day, they made some changes to the door sweep. This made the door close better. However, this created an issue with a gap between the bottom of the door and the floor. While walking outside at night, I saw streams of light shining from under the front door. This allowed insects to enter my house. I brought this to Mark's attention and asked him not to send the same crew to fix the issue because the installation guy had already told me that he did everything he can. Mark was able to ask another guy to come and fix the issue. The new guy showed up and fixed the issue within 30 mins or less. This guy owned his own door installation business and does the door install himself. During the whole ordeal, Mark showed up on day one to supervise and ensure everything was on track but he did not attempt to remedy the work himself. Issue #2: I paid the original door installers $xx (i forgot the amount) in cash to install a nest doorbell. The doorbell was installed but did not work because a transformer was required and they do not install transformers. I had to pay a separate guy to install the transformer. In hindsight, I would should have paid a separate guy to install doorbell who can also install a transformer if needed. This was probably my fault but I felt like I paid for something that didn't solve my problem. Issue #3: 1-2 months after the door was installed, i noticed that pads at the foot of the door had ripped. I asked Mark to fix and his response was that he would send some pads in the mail for me to fix myself. It's been a month and I haven't seen any pads in my mailbox. I paid almost $6K for doorframe and door (which i still have to paint myself). For this amount of money I was expecting a better streamlined, worry-free experience.

The process was pretty simple. They measured, asked about options and we signed the paperwork and the order was placed. Seem like they sent more guys then they needed but that was their business (our price was already set). They worked most of the day and took about 30 mins to cleanup and showed us how everything worked. After they left we double-checked their caulking (inside and out) and everything look really good. Not that we were surprised but you never know. The windows have been in for several weeks now and the owner called to check in last week (nice touch!).
