Thought I had to replace a few windows and turned out, all I needed was to replace glasses (inside the wood panes)...a service that FG&M specializes in. +++. Services they provide are mirrors, glasses inside windows, shower glasses / doors and more. FG&M is the only one that locally manufactures their glasses and mirrors of the four providers that I met with. The other three buy the glasses from distributors. Glen the owner came out to measure my glasses / windows and identified the type of glass replacement I needed. He was very knowledgeable and advised me of the culprit with my windows. Glen also shared with me how their manufacturing process prevents the failure I experienced with my existing windows. From the order to install took about a week which is about 1/2 the lead time than other providers. Two men came out to install...Ricky had been taught by Glen and has been with FG&M for more than a decade. They took care and about 2 hours to install several glasses. I was afraid that my round wood trim might break but they did it carefully enough that they were able to put everything back like it was before! Also, the other man whose name escapes me kindly remedied a shower door problem I had :-). + Price is competitive...they were the highest but all were within 10% of the bids. I spoke with Paul, the pricing man and he removed an error that was in the quote and were within $30 of their competitor. Their warranty is 7 years compared with 10 years from others. Apparently, most manufacturers are 5 years and the distributors augment additional to 10 years. Since I went directly to the manufacturer and FG&M only to 7 years, I charged my glasses on a credit card that extends the warranty to 9 years. Overall, I went with FG&M because they are a local one stop shop from measuring, manufacturing to install and I appreciated the knowledge Glen shared. I figured if the owner understood the problem and knew how to prevent it, then I would be better off with them than getting glasses from elsewhere. Another factor to consider was the lead time and if you need it sooner than 2 weeks, they are the only ones that could. I'm happy with my glass replacement experience with FG&M as they exceeded my expectation. You know that's not easy to do ;-) This one's a keeper!

The contractors who initially built our shower were not competent and Lonnie was very helpful in pointing out the problems with how it was built, while we were soliciting bids. Thank goodness he did, because it prompted us to get our shower rebuilt which saved us from potentially even worse problems we found out later on. There were some delays getting the glass due to supply chain issues, but A to Z was good about updating us on the status of when the glass was going to be completed and ready for installation. Once they had the glass ready, A to Z showed up promptly and had the job completed in a day. From a price perspective, they were about right in the middle of all the bids we solicited, which is worth it when you know you're getting good, quality work done. We love our shower and the glass looks wonderful.
