Some people call this spot "upscale," which it's not. It's nice, and probably the nicest restaurant in this area, and certainly busy due to this fact, but it's pretty casual. I went on a Tuesday night, around 6 PM, as a single diner. I was told I could sit at the bar, or wait until around 7:15 for a table. I chose to sit at the bar, which was fine, though I did notice several tables on the second level stayed vacant during my entire hour and 45 minute stay. The bartender was super busy, so service was a little slower than I was used to, but that's not his fault. He was having to prepare drinks for the bar and all the tables. He was nice enough, so no complaints there. I had the deviled eggs as an appetizer. 1/2 dozen of chef's selection. There were three flavors and I know at least one of them was bacon and cheese maybe? The bartender explained it to me, but very quickly, so I missed it. I then ordered the beef Blackstone, which is two 4 oz filets, crostini (the crostini wasn't necessary in my opinion), mushrooms, garlic, and bordelaise. Steak, which I ordered medium, was done well (not to be confused with well done). Juicy and tasty. I ordered the twice baked potato at the recommendation of the bartender, and wasn't disappointed. Decadent, creamy, flavorful. The broccoli, also recommended by the bartender, was a miss for me. Kinda soggy and flavorless. Watery. No char or crunch or taste. I had a few drinks. The basil fizz (hibiscus gin, fresh lemon juice, basil, soda water was pretty plain). The watermelon bourbon slash was pretty good and not overly heavy on the bourbon, light and refreshing (bourbon, watermelon puree, lime juice, simple syrup, mint, soda water). The Marshall's rye was also a good drink and a good way to end the evening (Hemingway rye, lemon juice, Disaronno, maraschino cherry, cherry liquor, Blanton's maple syrup, luxardo, orange bitters). It wasn't sweet like you'd think. Not an overly complex menu, but probably the best you'll get around here--several types of martinis, some classics (sidecar, French 75, sazerac). Other options on the menu: shrimp cocktail, artichoke dip, fish tacos, bang bang shrimp, salads, pork chops, salmon, chick cordon bleu, a few other types of steak and fish. Prices are good (especially as someone who spends most of their time in New York and Nashville). Service was as good as it could be with being seemingly understaffed. It would be helpful if you could make a reservation online rather than call. And as some have noted, tables stay empty even when they say they are booked. Overall a decent experience, but nothing wowed me. Kudos to the bartender who was doing his best to spin a lot of different plates.

Bread and butter.

My buddy and I are visiting from Ohio and decided for dinner to go to The Gin Mill. Brandon was our waiter and was very nice, polite, and kept checking in on us and refilling drinks. We both ordered the bacon-wrapped pork chops, gouda mac-n-cheese. He ordered the twice-baked potato, while I ordered the loaded baked potato. Our plates arrived with two pork chops, the mac-n-cheese, and potatoes. It was a lot of food that neither of us could finish. The food was delicious including the complimentary bread. We couldn't even think about dessert. My only complaint is where I was sitting, the air conditioning duct work was dripping on my back at times. Now, understand this was the heatwave where temps were 95-100°F so I know the air conditioning was working hard to cool the inside. It is a little pricey, but it is delicious.

Came in while on a work trip with a colleague. Had a 730 reservation and showed up about 8 minutes early. They asked us to wait, despite several tables being open. They called us right at 730 and sat us at one of the tables that was empty. Odd Our table was sticky, didn't like it at all. Was one of the hitops near the bar. Don't think it was dirty, the shellac was peeling off and making it sticky I think Anyway our server came right over, got us some water and an old fashioned Was really good I ordered the lobster bisque And the ribeye steak med-rare. Bisque was good, very tasty and really thick Salad was good, had some cheese and cranberries on it. Different but delicious Steak was good too, but overcooked. It was medium at best. My friend got medium and his was medium well. Contemplated sending back but was real tasty so I just ate it. Interior is cool, wild skull wallpaper and a loft to eat on. Enjoyed the experience and would come back for sure!

Definitely make a reservation to this establishment, because you may not get an opportunity to sit at the bar. Nice upscale restaurant. The calamari in Thai chili sauce is fantastic. I ordered the double pork chop, sautéed, brussels sprouts and truffle french fries. We also ordered the chicken cordon bleu. This meal was well worth the cost of the meal, it wasn't cheap but again worth it! Please come see a server named Morgan, she is distractingly beautiful.

A kind of cramped place so it always has a crowd. The prices aren't that bad for the quality and service. A lack of fancier restaurants around here in a town that mostly has chains. It's more of a kind of classier sports bar and grill. The atmosphere is pretty good because it's one of the few happening places around here. A place where one can watch a game and get craft cocktails as well as well cooked burgers. There's also plenty of meal sized salads for healthier options. It's about $12 for a basic cocktail. They have a pretty okay amount of spirits including whiskeys. It's about $10 for an Impossible Burger. We got these and had to choose our toppings. Also these come with a side such as fries. Pretty good amount of food for an okay price. Among the other items on the menu is fish. They have plenty of burgers as well as Po Boy sandwiches. Also there's soups and plenty of shareable appetizers. They also have desserts such as pie. For sure it's one of the nicer restaurants in the area. It's closed Sundays and Mondays. There's lots of meaty options and some things for vegetarians.

We arrived as they were opening at 5:00 (we like to eat at old people o'clock) and had a seat. Robbie's is a really nice vibe with a long wooden bar and great artwork on the walls. Our server and service were fantastic, but the food was a disappointment. We both ordered the rib eye and it came with soup or salad, smashed potatoes and asparagus. We had salads with blue cheese dressing. The salad itself was kind of meh-way too many black olives that I wasn't expecting to be on there in the first place, and the blue cheese was so thin and had a vinegar taste to it as well-not great. Our steaks were just ok. Not enough sear on the outside and absolutely no flavor of being seasoned. This is the first time I've had to add salt to a steak in a very long time. Mom ordered rare and I ordered medium and mine came as rare as hers. I asked if I could get another minute or so on mine and they were great about taking care of it. The potatoes and asparagus were delicious. Bernaise sauce was a bit thin but tasty. We had ordered a spiced peach half on the side and it was yummy. I could've had just those and the potatoes and been quite happy! I would come back here and order something different on the menu, but my 3 star rating comes from the disappointment in the steaks. I expected a seared and seasoned melt in my mouth ribeye and was left wanting.

We got there a little after 5:00 and we were impressed as soon as we entered. They had closed all the bar seating so it was just tables for two and four. The lights were dimmed and soft jazz music was playing; creating a very romantic atmosphere. Each table had a single red rose and the TV was "tuned" to a fireplace. Our starter course was champagne accompanied by olive oil and slices of French bread. What a great way to start the evening! We each had filets and both were cooked to perfection. The steaks came by incredible roasted potatoes and mixed vegetables. We both finished our steaks and took home plenty of vegetables for tomorrow. We also had a caramel chocolate cake that looks delicious, but we were too full to eat so it's in our refrigerator waiting for us! Service by Kristi and Rodney was superior, the atmosphere was perfectly romantic and the price was very reasonable. All in all, it was a perfect Valentine's meal!

They put together some really well crafted sandwiches that we felt to have been a reflection of the care of putting together each recipe. The fries were really good, nice, crispy, seasoned well and HOT! The Cole Slaw was excellent on the sandwiches, but as a stand alone side, not so great, just average. It's more than just casual. When we were there, and I assume this to be the usual, there were no non-disposable utensils or plates. The place is cramped, and only one table (2 two-seaters pushed together. Everything else were booths, and on the small side to accommodate the limited space no doubt. The kitchen is right at the tables, and the entire place is a bit (actually a lot) crowded. They do a bustling take out business though. That was evident. So I think that would be reflective of how good the food is. The reviewer who gave it one dollar sign to reflect price, failed us. Three of us, three sandwiches, two fries and one cole slaw, with three small fountain drinks, yet it was over $60. I cannot give my usual highly descriptive, wifey assisted review, but she's with me writing this. We've already left and I got no pictures! Just one of those days where you're in a rush.

They were fine. Menu says house made ranch but it was ok. Didn't really taste like homemade / house made. Wings were good size. Got the garlic parm. Tasted like most other places. My complaint is that they tasted a little under cooked. There wasn't any pink but it was border line. Then tried the traditional "hotshots famous " wing sauce. But.. I got them "trashed". Which is double dipped and fried. I really wanted to like these but they just didn't taste like traditional buffalo sauce (franks hot sauce, butter and vinegar). But the biggest issue was the up-charge. The menu says for trashed, it's "$2 extra" but.... I was charge $2/wing! I hope mgmt fixes that.
