Framing I had…read morerecently moved, and one of my pieces had the glass broken and needed to be replaced. I was searching for something local to get it repaired before more damage was done by the glass and found Palm City Art & Frame. I called over the and the super helpful guy on the phone advised I tape the glass first before driving it over, and walked through the various glass options that they had, and gave me some ballpark pricing. I popped over there a few days later to get the item repaired and again - the person working there was extremely knowledgeable about all the various pieces / parts that made up the frame that I had (it was extensively matted etc.) Long story short- they did an excellent job of repairing the glass, re-framing it and getting it back to me in a few days time. They also have a large selection of frame styles available for those of you who need to frame something and as mentioned, they really are great with what works, and what might not, with a particular piece of art. I had the opportunity to watch them interact with a customer before me and they waked them through the whole process: choose a frame style, matting, choices of colors, what makes it "pop" and what doesn't etc. Highly recommended and I will use them again. For the most part, I was pleased with their selection. The 40% off of Christmas items was a nice plus. When I approached the cashier; I asked if I could apply for their credit card as I would have gotten another 40% off. The cashier had not offered that when my items were totaled. The gal said it would not count on that days visit. I was disappointed as my total was over $250. She did not offer anymore details, and seemed put out at my request. I later found out that I COULD have saved 40% and an extra 20%. Needless to say; this led to my 1 star review. I can't say that I will never return there, but it certainly won't be my "go to" place. Think some training in customer service is warranted!!!
