We were an unlucky June 2020 couple and Carly helped us reschedule our wedding and contact vendors to navigate the tough times. We finally had our special day in May 2021 and it was perfection. Carly helped us make decisions about flowers and decor, even meeting us at Event Rents multiple times over the long planning process (2 years with the covid delay!). Planning was really fun with Carly and team - you can tell that they genuinely enjoy what they do and they bring their experience and expertise to help. Everything was gorgeous on the day. I was able to truly relax and enjoy my wedding, while Milkglass took care of everything else. Our guests were certainly in a partying mood after the lockdowns and we started to run out of alcohol during dinner. Carly sent someone to buy more so the party could continue. She also packed up anything we left behind and delivered our decorations and my bouquet to my house the next day. If you're on the fence about a wedding planner or coordinator - DO IT!! This was the single thing that made the most difference on how perfect our day was!

Our wedding was 135 people in Granby, CO, and Carly helped make it spectacular. Carly is incredibly knowledgable about the industry and Denver-vendors. She never led us astray with her recommendations, and gave us sound advice regarding selection of vendors based in Denver (vs mountain vendors). When we were looking into a caterer she had never worked with, she made the effort to reach out to several wedding planner friends to check in with them and get their opinions. She also kept us organized and on a timeline, and even reviewed all of our vendor contracts which is above and beyond a typical day-of planner. We communicated with her regularly starting from our engagement 1 1/2 years out from the wedding, and she was always quick to respond to emails and happy to answer any of our questions. This is very different from the policies of many of the other day-of planners we looked into, who really wouldn't get involved until 1-3 months out from the wedding. She also didn't have any rules about not responding to emails on Sundays of after-hours, which I've seen friends run into with their planners. Carly did a lot o behind-the-scenes communication with our vendors, often times without me realizing, which spared us from dealing with lots of logistical questions etc. She even sent an email out the week of our wedding, insisting that vendors use her as a primary point person from then until the wedding, so the we wouldn't be dealing with questions during the pre-wedding festivities. On the day of, she (and her assistant Ceecee!) was critical in doing everything from organizing the ceremony, directing people to where they needed to be, doing my bustle when my mother was occupied with something else, and corralled our guests to the appropriate locations as needed. You can tell that she came from New York since she is so organized, direct and efficient, which is exactly what we were looking for in a planner. I would highly recommend Carly and the MGP crew to anyone!

The inside is definitely very victorian, and though it's not quite my style, it's pretty and nice. There are two rooms upstairs for the bride and groom to get ready in, downstairs has a kitchen for caterers, a buffet hall area, several sitting areas, and a large room for dancing and setting up tables in. There's also a small deck off of the large room where several more tables can be set up. It made a great spot for the wedding, and I think it would be good for any smaller sized gathering (I wouldn't put more than 100 people in it probably). It's located right next to Das Meyer Bakery as well (same owners I think).

Heather forces her clients to use vendors that are not the best, but provide her with money back for booking with them. She receives all kinds of gifts from bands, rentals and even flower shops in the form of paid trips and actual cash. She receives massive kickbacks from her rental company that she keeps rather than giving that discount to her clients. The volume of unethical behavior from this company is insane and I'm so glad I found all of this out prior to booking my wedding with her. My advice, find a company that understands ethical business practices and book with them. Because with Heather, you'll pay her $25k for rentals and she'll walk away with $5k of it for her own pocket. But, she will try and charge you a percentage of the cost of the entire wedding as her fee while increasing the costs of these vendors to double dip. I bet if you ask any of the people that used her services listed on this website, they'll all tell you that budgets were blown way out of proportion because that's just how it is. Nope! You paid for Heather to live in Boulder and pretend like a big shot around town. If I were any of you, I would demand my money back. To people looking to book with this company, beware, you will pay a hefty overage just to support the owner. Find anyone else and make sure they don't have "preferred" vendors as she likes to state.

I had no doubt that I could plan my own wedding... IF I had unlimited time in my life to thoroughly review & interview every single vendor within a 30 mile radius! One of my favorite things is that Heather only recommends vendors that are superb. I feel that every single vendor at my wedding was the best of the best - truly! My guests have had endless compliments about it all as well, so it didn't go unnoticed. I knew DJ Bedz through social media and his resume blows any other DJs out of the water. He had the reputation of being the top Colorado DJ and I knew I had to book him! DJ Bedz along with the company he books through was quick to respond to all of my emails which eased my crazy bride mode. They also sent out their questionnaire with songs and details of the wedding 60 days before. I didn't realize how much I appreciated this until I saw that other vendors were sending me questionnaires 2 weeks before. At the end I was completely overwhelmed, and it made me realize how amazing the DJ was to have reached out to me so far in advance where I had time to complete the forms. I was hesitant having a Denver DJ travel up to Aspen in fear that they may be late or get stuck on 70. They assured me that there wouldn't be any issues and Cassidy even reached out to me to say he was leaving early to make sure he arrived in Aspen early. There were no issues and he even arrived early. Cassidy made sure to mix songs that kept everyone dancing and wanting more. He even let us go behind the DJ booth and scratch which was a hit with the guests. I had some guests that were star stuck by him and said they have listened to him growing up and were over the moon he was at the wedding. Major brownie points for me! If you are waiting the top of the line entertainment for your event, DJ Bedz is your man!

Key points: 1)Extremely kind, professional, knows what he's doing 2)Asks for the couple to fill out a 2-3 page form on the relationship so he can get to know you and incorporate into the ceremony 3) He tailors the ceremony to YOU! His light hearted jokes that we requested were amazing, and he even included our late grandparents in the ceremony in a very special way. 110% recommend to any couple who wants an impressive, beautiful ceremony!

The communication was great before and during the reception to make sure everything was the way the bride and groom wanted it, even asking if they wanted the entire songs played for the individual dances.

I would not recommend A Music Plus for weddings/receptions. Here are a few examples of everything…read morethat went wrong. 1. For the ceremony bride and groom did not have microphones. They had to lean into the pastor to read their vows. This doesn't look good in photos. 2. They cut the father daughter dance from a 6-minute song to a 2 minute portion of that song. They stated that the bride signal to them to cut it. The dance was recorded and that "signal" did not ever happen. 3. The playlist of the evening was not played in order. 4. The DJ at all times was very hard to understand. The bride and groom did not know what to do when the announcements were happening because of this. I did reach out to A Music plus and spoke with Trinity about all of this and I have asked for a partial refund due to all of this but I am now being ignored and are failing to even respond to emails. Do NOT hire for your special day! Due to the current response I must further clarify. My daughter did not know what song was being played for the father/daughter dance and would not and did NOT state any possibility to cutting it short. The song was a surprise for her from her father. That is exactly why I contacted Trinity, specifically with the exact song and the exact link to the song that was to be played all by email. Trinity statement that this was to be cut short is a lie! And please do not think that there is not a video of that exact dance from start to finish with no cues of cutting it short from either the bride or father! The only reason there were multiple calls is because I had to reach out to A music plus for any type of response due to not responding to email. Not professional at all for not responding! And again, the bride and groom had a playlist to follow in a specific order. They worked hard on this for months coming up with these details. Not to follow the specific instructions is a failure on your part. The bride and groom did also request NO request to be allowed. This was their day and no one elses and that request should have been followed. Failure to even recognize the microphone issue during their vows! Furth more, you have not responded to email when asking for a partial refund. You do deserve to be paid but so many mistakes happened that I do deserve at least a partial refund. Again for anyone reading...please search out other DJ's. It will save you tons of headache!
