They have one storefront that is right up against the windows looking out and then one storefront that's in the interior of the market and mainly only gets artificial lighting. Both are full of plants to the brim, but this is a super helpful way to shop for plants! Which environment does your space / wherever you're going to put these plants better replicate? Natural daylight or artificial light? Whichever is the answer, you start with shopping at that storefront. It's so fun and innovative. The Plant House also doesn't pull any punches. They have great stock of all kinds of plants, although in my experience with a lot of the local plant shops around the area, I would say their plant stock & plant accessories (pots, etc.) are relatively standard. But, that could also be because they are located in such a busy market, and the more unique plants probably sell out way quicker than the more traditional houseplants. What I feel like sets them further apart from other local plant shops is the fact that they offer unique eco-friendly products for your household as well. It's definitely a must-shop in Rust Belt Market, and I love that they have been in this space for as long as I can remember, when so many other vendors come & go.

I knew it wasn't a good sign when I had to contact them twice to get them to my house and then the day of the estimate they seemed a bit confused as to whether I was waiting for them to come do an estimate or to deliver dirt,sod, etc. When she finally showed up an hour or more late she really didn't seem very interested and after talking to her for maybe 5 minutes she said she was going to take a few pictures,measure and would send me an email with the quote. I never saw her take pictures or measure?? I am still waiting for that quote Sherri...NOT..I have had multiple other estimates from people that know how to do business, but thanks anyway. I was able to pick out a beautiful patio pot and he even delivered it to my mother's home. I don't live in the area and it sure was nice to be able to shop the local garden center as if I was actually at the store, and to have them delivered............I will always call 7 mile garden center for any plants/outdoor flowers for my mother. This includes the lack of help for lifting rocks into the their carts and pulling carts to the weighing station. So, if you come here, be sure to wear protective gear such as boots and gloves, and do not expect people to help you with your rock lifting or selection. Hence, the 4 stars instead of 5. We liked rocking out on the higher seated Berlin Gardens Comfo-back Counter glider chairs with the footrest. They had about 4 colors in stock at this facility. There is a door to their warehouse. They do deliver to your house and will install the patio set as well. Delivery for our two table and two gliders would be $120. It's almost $2,200 for two glider single chairs and a small table for composite plastic chairs. I decided to think about the purchase some more, as it feels like a good amount of change for two plastic chairs and a small plastic table, fundamentally.
