Satin pothos in a gorgeous, high-quality pot.
    Maddie E.

This is one of my favorite places to shop. I bought my very first houseplant here, a stunning satin pothos, and a very nice pot for it to live in. Since then, I've become a bit of a plant addict lol. These plants are always super gorgeous, very well taken care of, and reasonably priced. I would spend every day here if I could the staff is also very kind and will pot your plant for you. Love love love the plant house!

I went there for the first time in the mist of the Art Festival! Everything was amazing, the staff was lovely ! 100/100.

I stumbled into The Plant House after seeing the most beautiful string of pearls from the sidewalk on 9 mile. Upon walking in to the Rust Belt Market, I realized there are 2 areas of the market associated to The Plant House. They have a rotating inventory of plants that are just absolutely stunning and range from small succulents to large trees, so I always go in expecting a nice surprise and new addition to my collection. The staff is super friendly and can answer any and all things plants. If you follow them on social media you'll get a sneak peek into their new plants. They do operate on limited hours (just weekends) so plan your trip accordingly

The variety of plants (predominately succulent types) and pots are great! The inviting atmosphere, and other little knick knacks was cute.

Had another fabulous experience with Auburn Oaks!! I'd…read morepurchased 2 flowering bushes to augment my front bed; and asked a trusted fellow to plant them for me. That part didn't go as well as it should have, the weather turned up the heat, and for as much as I watered: still the plants were charred by the string of super sunny, hot days. Left with no choice other than to make another purchase-this time I was smart enough to ask Auburn Oaks to add delivery and install of the plants to my bill. WHAT a FABULOUS choice!! The plants were delivered when I was told to expect them; and Dominic was superb. THANK YOU Auburn Oaks!! See you next time;)

Coming here's a pleasure because their not a huge facility like Bordine's or Lowe's. Parking's tight but doable you just have to be careful when backing out since it's literally on Auburn Road, which is super busy and the speed limit's 50 MPH. They have a great selection of items to choose from, and prices are competitive and fair. What keeps me coming back is the staff. Their super friendly and are extremely knowledgeable. They also have regular sales and keep up with seasonal stuff like pumpkins, Christmas décor and other stuff as well. They also stand behind their products so if you buy a tree or plant, I think they will credit you if it does die. Don't quote me on that, but these guys really do stand behind what their selling. Overall a fabulous little nursery in a world of big box stores, we love coming here for just about anything!

A little honesty here: I have a black thumb (uhhum, I kill plants, and know nothing about them) but…read moreI'm trying to learn quickly and I went in with the attitude of "I know nothing and need to find someone to help me." Also knowing that I was going to spend a few hundred dollars on shrubs, plants and other items I was expecting to talk to somebody knowledgeable. After asking a couple people I was guided to a woman named Annette. She works outside in the perennials, shrubs and tree section and boy was she great to work with. I asked her a lot of (dumb) questions and showed her a picture of what I'm working with and she was able to recommend various ideas. There was another woman who was very helpful, dark hair and younger but her name slips my mind... Maybe Renee? Yeah, she was awesome too! As noted before in other reviews, they are expensive but the quality of the plants as well as the warranty are great. I have a first responder in the family so I was able to get the garden club for free which extends the warranty even further. ($20/yr) Because they opened in early May when I went on the 10th, they were out a lot. Annette said call back to check on stock, which I plan to do. Will be back! (I'll post some pictures in a couple days when it's sunny out again of a before and after.)

Closing at 7 makes them almost impossible to go to after work. Such a stupid time to close.read more

He said "you need to water in circles, you're doing like you're jacking off!" I'm putting the actual words he used because I'm sure kids won't be reading these reviews. I was appalled that he would say this out loud in front of customers. Not to mention the demeaning tone he used towards the worker. I put my flowers down that I had picked out and left. I didn't feel like having a confrontation with him. I doubt this will make a difference in his attitude but I won't be shopping there again. Plenty of other places to spend my money at

And don't think you got away with me not knowing you still cheated me even though you gave me some money back. you can keep it because your behavior says you obviously need it more than me.
