That part didn't go as well as it should have, the weather turned up the heat, and for as much as I watered: still the plants were charred by the string of super sunny, hot days. Left with no choice other than to make another purchase-this time I was smart enough to ask Auburn Oaks to add delivery and install of the plants to my bill. WHAT a FABULOUS choice!! Coming here's a pleasure because their not a huge facility like Bordine's or Lowe's. Parking's tight but doable you just have to be careful when backing out since it's literally on Auburn Road, which is super busy and the speed limit's 50 MPH. They have a great selection of items to choose from, and prices are competitive and fair. What keeps me coming back is the staff. Their super friendly and are extremely knowledgeable. They also have regular sales and keep up with seasonal stuff like pumpkins, Christmas décor and other stuff as well. They also stand behind their products so if you buy a tree or plant, I think they will credit you if it does die. Don't quote me on that, but these guys really do stand behind what their selling. Overall a fabulous little nursery in a world of big box stores, we love coming here for just about anything!

What's THAT place?! It was a big white colonial style building and it was pretty. What else would a good friend do? She turned the car around. She said she would probably pay $5 more by going here, but she wanted me to see it. We pulled into the massive parking lot and drove to the corner where a little bird was taking a bath in a puddle. We got out and the bird was completely unphased. This was his safe place. A floral mecca if you will. We walked past statues and fountains to reach the entrance. There were large carts, baby carts, and wheelchairs available at the entrance. I wandered in and encountered sticker shock. Amy wasn't kidding. Everything was about double what you would find everywhere else. There were quite a few half off sales though, bringing it down to a normal price. Here's the thing though- it's like the difference between a Gucci watch and a Timex. Both are going to do the job, but the Gucci is just more elegant. These plants were lush. They were diverse too. And this place was mammoth. I did not make it through the entire store. It vascillated between indoors and outdoors and stretched back to parts unknown, at least by me. Luckily I found a place to sit so I didn't need to grab a wheelchair. A bunch of patio tables and benches were stationed at the front next to the firewood. I enjoyed the breeze while Amy stood in line. She was right. She paid more. The young guy who rang her up asked if she would like a bag for each one. We missed over that since the bags were smaller than the tomato cages. She said no. We jaunted to the car, loaded up the trunk and much to our dismay our little bathing bird was gone.

Quiet a number of sales on a plethora of different items in the store. Flowers and plants are all well maintained and taken care of. My husband and i went here to "just look around" and left with $180 worth of plants and other things. We loved it and can't wait to go back.

I wanted to get a spray from the grandchildren, but it was the day before the funeral. I had merely planned to pick out something ready made and ask for a ribbon that said "Loving Papa" because it was the 11th hour. The people there were SO nice. They told me they could make him a spray, no problem, whatever I wanted, and it would be delivered that night. They were kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. They gave their condolences for my grandpa's passing. I left feeling so good that I would have a beautiful spray to honor my grandfather. This place was the best. Telly's Greenhouse

Our landscape firm recommended that we go to Telly's to select a special red maple for an area on…read moreour property that is outside where our landscaper's work. We found a beautiful specimen, bought it and contracted to Telly's to plant it. This was in September of 2025. Now seven months later, the specimen is dead. We took pictures to the store and I spoke to the person who sold me the tree originally. He told me he needed to consult an "expert". I was introduced to another man who looked at my pictures and fairly immediately diagnosed that there was something wrong with our soil and that is what killed the tree. He indicated that their warranty did not cover disease. He showed me the treatment for the soil and explained how to do it. We spent $90 on this treatment. After consulting with our landscaper, there were several things that were suggested, but here's the most important one. The tree dying so quickly would suggest that the disease may have been in the potted plant's soil WHEN it was planted. The landscaper found it unusual that if the disease were newly introduced to the plant from our soil that it would have died so quickly. At any rate, we will never buy another specimen tree like this from Telly's. This experience really felt like a "setup" between the two employees. We had to speak to the guy who knows how to "sell" this whole soil disease excuse. As consumers, we were in no position to argue. We'd suggest that you be very careful buying an expensive specimen from Telly's and risking having your money go up in smoke in just a few months time!

I ended up spending $90 and almost couldn't fit all the plants in my car. I thought I had plenty, then I was driving up Ryan 3 days ago, July 8, and saw a sign for 75% off. You have got to be kidding me?! Screetch!!!!! Pulling over again. This time I only spent $60, and again had a time getting it all into my car. This place is awesome!!!!!!!!!

Overall, the space was clean and easy to navigate - only took us about 45 minutes to browse through all the vendors. Definitely check out if you're in the area and want to support local!

They are set up outside in the parking lot. I selected a patio plant for $20 and a tomato plant for $5.50. I held both items in my hands as I waited in line to pay. As I was waiting in line I saw some beautiful small plants that were Daliah's. Rather than get out of line and pick out two pretty Daliah plants I thought I would pay for what I had, put them in the car and return for the Daliah's. I paid cash for my items and went to the car. After putting plants in car, I turn around to return to pick out a yellow and a red Deliah. As I shut the car door an older gentleman approaches me and asks if I put plants in my car and what were they. I thought it odd, but thought maybe he liked what he saw and wanted to know what I bought so he too could look for them. I thought he was a customer. I said I put a tomato plant and some flowers in my car. He continues to get near me and asks if I put a flat of plants in my car. Oh, now I know he thinks I stole. He never identified himself and I was offended by now. I said no, I did not put a flat of plants in my car and in fact I was returning to buy more flowers. I then said, 'Damn!' because, I'm like back off, I didn't take a flat of plants. Isn't that something you would SEE someone taking. Clearly you did not SEE me with a big ol' flat of plants. He followed me and as I was nearing the cash register to head towards the flowers I wanted to pick out...Mind you, the old, bothersome coot, never let me know who he was or why he was badgering me! He asked to see my receipt! Now I was pissed! I looked at the guys who just rang me up as if to say, tell this aggressive old dude to back off. The guys at the register never said anything! That too pissed me off. I was just there about 2 minutes ago! WTH! I was forced to go to the counter, empty my pockets of all my cash and change, phone and whatever else I had so I could fish out the damn receipt! In the meantime he called me rude! I said he was rude for thinking I stole something when I told him what I had bought and was returning to buy more flowers. I showed him the receipt and said, 'happy?" he said he was sorry. I left without buying more flowers. I get it, thieves suck! But before you play cop make sure you are honing in on the right criminal. For God's sake, a flat of plants should be pretty obvious to see someone carrying that to their car. I will not return.
