    I have never been inside a At Home store before, so I was kinda excited to see a new store I haven't seen before, and this one is worth the trip. The store is so huge, think of a size of WalMart, it's that's big. But all it has is home decor, so it's filled with stuff you will want to buy for your house. The only reason why this place loses a star is because of the employees, or lack of. I was in this store for 20 mins and there was not a single employee on the sales floor. Now maybe they had them all up at the register, but on a Sunday, it's busy, they should have some out there helping guests. I will be back here for the Christmas season, as it looks like they will have a lot holiday decor.

The cigar leather is still so toughing it out and hasn't slouched or fallen apart yet. The table has held up sturdy as the day it was purchased. It's supported many parties and dinners overt the years. The styles have worn out on me, still like them today and would still pick out the same style today. They are to me timeless. The couch, loveseat and table were not cheap by any stretch, they would put RH furniture to shame, but they were well worth every penny. Looking forward to having them for many more years or longer.

Fortunately there is a great furniture repair shop that fixed the recliner in a few minutes which probably would have taken them months. I also purchased a curio cabinet ftom them. a very expensive one, to hold my car collection. Big problems occurred. Sales person failed to tell me about weight restrictions. Anyway, when the delivery people put it together they put the weight level limits printed on the glass shelves in the back so I would not notice them. (Note: I did not notice the weight limits until the cabinet was ready to be picked up.) So after they set up the cabinet, I placed my model cars into the cabinet, and in less than one week, the glass shelves gave way. Company repair person came out 3 weeks later. and he said he could not fix the item. He told me that he could have the cabinet picked up but had no idea when. I doubted what he said based on the experience I had with the cabinet and chair because the cabinet it was completely broken. Almost all companies would not pick up an item that was very large and had a lot of damage. They would have no way to store it. I probably would not have gotten any money back either since I did not know the weight limits that the shelves could take since the delivery people put the weight limit deep inside the cabinet when they put in the shelves. Anyway, I had it picked up by a junk hauler. I recommend, that before you do anything business with this company, know everything about what you are purchasing. Do not trust their sales staff at this company to tell you all the details about what you may want to purchase because these sales people work mostly on commission.

    Steer clear of the Ethan Allen Nacella braided wool basket weave rug if you're about to spend 2K on…read moreit and expect this rug, which the company describes as a "treasured heirloom", to look great for longer than a year and a half. A large (expensive) version of the Nacella rug comes with dozens of spots where ends of braids are joined in order to continue with the weave (not very attractive but acceptable). After some time, though, just over a year, the adhesive used to hold these braid ends together turns dark brown, almost black and looks, in dozens of places, like dirt literally. I bought rug insurance from EA that sadly doesn't cover a manufacturer defect that came to light after the manufacturer's 1 year warranty expired. (It covers only accidents.) I'm very disappointed that Ethan Allen didn't even try to stand by its product, and that my 'heirloom' rug is so flawed.

    I am currently visiting my elderly mom in Ann Arbor, MI. I was helping her fix things around the…read morehouse, one of which was to repair her living room vertical blinds. They were not closing, it looked like a hardware problem! On investigating, I learned that she had replaced the track a couple of years ago. The house was built in 1998 and the blinds worked fine for 20 years at which point there was an issue with the track that was replaced two years back. I further learned that the track was installed by her handy man instead of a professional blind specialist. Being on a tight budget and wanting to be green, she really wanted to see if the blinds could be repaired at a nominal cost. Some other blind specialists had assessed to "replace the blinds both hardware and the veins" because they were not repairable, which was the very expensive option. I kept asking the fundamental question that the blinds worked for 20 years with the old track and fail after 2 years with the new track....could this be the quality of the blind hardware perhaps? It turns out that part of the problem was a faulty installation by the handy man. This problem led me to the PHENOMENAL Josh Barron of Esquire Interiors (which by the way is a third generation family run business I later learned), he impressed me with: 1. His excellent listening skills with my mom to understand the problem with the blinds and then solving the problem very methodically and precisely. He asked my mom thoughtful questions and genuinely wanted to understand the issue and when he sensed that mom was struggling to explain he did a FaceTime call with her which made it easier for my mom to show him the issue at hand. Josh was able to determine on the phone that he strongly felt that he could repair the blinds at a very reasonable cost. Thus saving her a big expense! 2. His knowledge, competence and tenacity at problem solving the issue was truly inspiring. He tried many things to diagnose and fix the issue. There was a lot of trial and error as he eliminated possibilities and then the problem was fixed!!! 3. He graciously agreed to look at mom's other blinds and fixed their minor issues, shortening the blind in some places due to the house settling and lubricating the tracks as necessary. He did all the extra without charging. This is how we take care of our seniors! Thank you, Josh! Josh is very competent (knows his trade very well, I learned he was working with his dad building tracks at the tender age of 8!), very customer centric, and very high on integrity and compassion....a winning combination! He will be our "go to" person for all things blinds from now on and when we are ready to get new blinds....we will go to his business. Minty

We are in our twenties and felt like we were seriously neglected and judged here due to our younger age. We even dressed up nice to go to Ashley just so the sales associates would take us seriously. But no. We spent 20 minutes here testing out and discussing couches and not a single sales associate talked to us. Every other person in that store was helped except us (mind you, the store was not busy at all and probably had more sales people than customers). We even said hello to two passing workers to get their attention, and they just said hi and kept walking. Left feeling angry and judged. Would have been a customer, but never again.

    I needed a large table so working with the sales lady, I ordered a 54"x54" table with three leaves…read moremaking it 54"x90". It was set in a smaller room not fully extended. Once I remodel my kitchen, I had room for the large table I needed so I added the leaves to the table making it the full length needed. Then I noticed it that the table was very wobbly. I went back to the store to find out what can be done and noticed that the bases on the tables were much larger than the one I have. My base is 24"x24" definitely not large enough to handle the weight of the large tabletop. How was I to know this was a mistake when ordering? I am not a furniture expert, the sales people are. The owner said that I waited too long and there is nothing she can do about it. Tables will wobble a bit with the leaves in. The wobble on my table is extreme but she didn't care. I know it has been a five years and was willing to pay for a new base but she insisted that she cannot order just a base. I explained that it is a liability issue and she went off about me suing her. I never said that; just trying to explain the severity of the issue. If anyone was to get hurt, both the store and I would be liable. The other reviews indicate that it would not have mattered if I brought the issue to her at the time of delivery, she would not have done anything about it. Never again will I shop in that store! I spent a lot of money for "quality" furniture and now I have to find a solution to the unmatched table/base.
