A…read moreflashing "check engine" on our decades old Toyota Highlander meant an urgent fix, and longtime locals pointed us to Darren & Cameron's shop. They scoped the cylinder 3 misfire code which committed us hours of labor (Toyota V6 design fault) and, trusting them, did the other two coils too--the kind of "extra" work you only do when you feel comfortable that they fix it right, for the right reasons, at a fair price, so you do the work now (like we should've on another coil 2 years ago). Much appreciated their Sunday hours, too. I hope that this review will one day save the middle or end of somebody's Kennebunkport Maine vacation.

I had an outstanding experience at VIP Tires & Service in Arundel, Maine. Cameron, my service…read moreadvisor, was professional, courteous, and polished from start to finish. He explained everything clearly, kept me informed throughout the visit, and made the entire process easy and stress-free. I brought my vehicle in for an oil change, tire rotation, and state inspection, and all of the work was completed efficiently and with great attention to detail. It's refreshing to receive customer service that is both knowledgeable and genuinely focused on the customer. Cameron and the team at VIP have earned my trust, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for honest, high-quality automotive service. A true A+ experience!

The guys at Motorland Vintage America are great!…read more We began looking at a vehicle at Motorland in February 2014. By the time we finalized the purchase in June, we were very impressed with the service we received from Tim and his team at Motorland. Over the course of several months we had lots of questions about mechanical details, vehicle history, etc. Every exchange we had with Tim was professional, courteous and helpful. Tim was responsive to our questions, and got us good information in a timely manner. Tim also recommended a mechanic to complete a pre-purchase inspection (since we were purchasing this car from half a continent away) on our behalf. Normally I'd be leery of an inspector recommended by the seller of a vehicle, but Todd (the inspector) was thorough, detailed, and honest about the condition of the vehicle. In the end we made the trip up to Maine to see the car, and it was exactly as represented. It was great to see all the cars in the Motorland collection. Tim is a bit of an authority on local history, so we got a guided tour of Kennebunkport in the deal as well. This was a long process for us, but a quality experience overall. Tim and his colleagues are professional, courteous, and go to lengths to provide great service. Without reservation, I would highly recommend the folks at Motorland Vintage America for a classic car purchase.

I never heard anything until I went by in January and it was outside under snow and ice ( it had always been garaged). Against their wishes, they finally took it inside. The owner told me Tim Stentiford just up and left and " they lost all the paperwork and didn't know who owned it " (!). I looked in the office and there were 100's of file folders on the floor. They said they'd look again. Wouldn't the info be in their computer?? I asked how they could then sell it without documentation, as it was listed on their website. Blank stare. I went back in the Spring when the car was back outside and the condition it was in made me cry. The original paint was ruined and peeling, the original seats were torn open , and the running board was rusted off. I immediately hired a flatbed to remove it from that place and guess what,?---Alan lost the keys!! If you care about your vehicle, DON'T consign it to them!!!

I had my 2015 jeep wrangler serviced herez originally it cost 1800 to do a lot of front end work…read more after I get it back there was still more noises in the front end. So I scheduled Another appointment for have it fixed and after the it cost me 600 dollars more so a total of 2400. After i gktnot home it Was still making the same noise as when I brought it in the first time. Come to find out the technician had a loose nut on something and it was addressed quickly. Fast forward 2 months and 3000 miles later my son took the jeep in to get tires rotated at town fire tire where we got the tires from originally and they said it needed an alignment. which I already paid for when first one when we got all the work done Only 2 months prior. so I called Firestone back to make a comlaint about having the alignment done already and the guy said this is normal. It's only been 2 months and 3000 miles how is this normal? Never in my life has this happened to me or anyone else I know for that matter. So I paid 140 at town fair tire to get the alignment done. Now I could have taken it back to firestone since they offer a 12 month warranty but my son who is 16 Dis not know this. So that part is one me to tell him that. But that being said there is no way you need another alignment down after 3000 miles. My experience here has been shit and a joke. And not to mention they didn't even change the rear swaybar links like they were supposed to do, so I had to do that myself after I got it back. So as far as I'm concerned this place has shitty service and I'll never be back there again. Good luck of your taken your car to this place. Hope they get it right the first time and not like my experience. This place can can go pound sand. What a rip off, run around and a bunch of excuse. Why didn't they diagnose it right the first time? so instead of 1800 dollar I paid 2400 and still had to take it back and then 2 months later I had to get an alignment done elsewhere. come on man what are we doing here?
