The fudge here is a family vacation favorite! We always make sure to stop by this place for fudge, sometimes even twice on a trip. The fudge is pretty expensive at $10.50 per slice (no half slices allowed), but if you buy 3, the 4th is free, and if you buy 5, the 6th is free (if I remember correctly). Family really loves the vanilla fudge and peanut butter fudge. I personally love the dark chocolate fudge. Creamy and not dry, you can watch them make it fresh. I thought the salted caramel fudge and cookies and cream were way too sweet (but I also thought all the flavors but dark chocolate were too sweet). I also tried their ice cream, which I have to give a 2/5 stars. The strawberry flavor is supposed to have chunks per their description but there was barely any in there. The flavor wasn't superb either. I also got the "Rush Hour" coffee and toffee flavor which was okay. The biggest problem was the ice cream was already half-melted as they scooped it up, it was literally like.....dripping as they scooped it for me. read more

Bottom Line: Good fudge but a bit overpriced and underwhelming service. I think The Fudgery has a good product but I do think it is a bit overpriced. But what I think cheapens their brand is the upselling that goes on at the register. Usually, it seems once I've selected my fudge and passed over my money they start to upsell me on buying more fudge. Yeah, I know, it might seem crazy that I just want one piece of fudge and that I am going to pay in cash but that is how I roll. Also, regardless of location or time of year, it also seems like the employees are totally indifferent. On my recent visit to the Timbuck II Corolla store the employee even had the F word on his tshirt so I guess that added something to the overall experience! read more

Staff was friendly and offered us a buy 2 get 1 free deal. The case for the fudge was wide open and while we were ordering we saw multiple flies land on the fudge and crawl all over them. We should have left right then and there but we got our order and left. We went outside to try the chocolate, rocky road, and vanilla flavors we bought but they were all stale and hard. The fudge wasn't soft and crumbled to the touch. Very disappointed with this purchase, it was not worth the price or lack of sanitization. read more

Ice cream is the best dang ice cream I have ever had. I got the Oreo kind and it had huge huge pieces of cookie throughout. Amazing. Same with the cookie dough flavor. The waffle cones are hand made there and also amazing. I wrote the brand name of ice cream down because it was so good. Literally the best I have had The fudge was not great. Go for ice cream. Horrible experience. Went to this shop with my grandma expecting to have some fun and get some fudge. Off the bat no one greeted us. We just stepped up and asked for 1 half pound of vanilla. On the sign, it said 1 1/2 lb... 10.99. She put the fudge on the scale and rang us up 16.99. We had no clue how misleading the sign would be- my grandma couldn't do 16.99. We asked for a smaller piece. Came up to 13.89. She still couldn't do that and that was the smallest piece. That's false advertising. I ended up buying the piece. The staff was so rude to my grandma and laughed at every word she said- it was so cruel and by far the worst experience I've had during my weeks stay. "We're human we're not perfect" was the excuse for the overpriced fudge. Sign should say approximately 14.00 since there was nothing smaller. I'd Love to hear back from someone. read more

The fudge is pretty good here. We purchased chocolate, cookies-and-cream, salted caramel, and vanilla. I wasn't a huge fan of the vanilla or cookies-and-cream, but I liked the chocolate based fudges. That's probably just my preference for chocolate and not a reflection on the taste of the vanilla fudges. It cost $46 for 5 blocks of fudge. I don't typically purchase fudge so I don't know if this is a good price - but definitely not something I'd be buying often for dessert. Service was prompt. They do try to upsell you on fudge. "If you just buy two more we will give you two free," etc. But I wasn't really bothered by this. read more

Had been looking to find ice cream at Tim Buck II and ended up at The Fudgery. Walked in and where the only customers there. The two girls helping us were not friendly in the slightest. They didn't welcome us to the store and kind of made us think and feel like we were a bother being there. I got the mint chocolate chip ice cream and my wife got the "rush hour." We paid $14. The ice cream was the blandest ice cream I think we've ever had. Save your money and go to one of the other ice cream shops around! read more

We bought the regular chocolate nut fudge. You have to buy a full 1/2 pound, since that is the smallest size they sell, and they don't provide samples to taste. It was terrible, just ridiculously sweet. So much sugar I felt like I could get diabetes from just one bite. This is not normal. Fudge is supposed to be sweet, but not THAT much sugar. read more

We got the chocolate nut fudge but the nuts in it were stale and it just tasted bad because of it. It's highly disappointing that they used stale, bad-smelling nuts for such a high priced fudge. The fudge itself was pretty dry and hard. This is probably one of the most expensive fudge places in the area and it was just not good! read more

The Fudgery is a nice chain that specializes in making Fudge. I've on been in two of their store and purchased stuff from one of them but there fudge is pretty good. I've had the vanilla, rocky road, cookies and cream and the chocolate. If your lucky sometimes you can watch them make a batch of it, I've never got that chance but i was there once it was finished and they let me sample the product which was awesome being that it was so fresh it was still hot. As a suggestion they will always try to up sell you on whatever you buy and normally if you buy 3 half pound pieces at about 8 bucks a pop they'll throw in another piece free. But if you would only like 3 pieces you can try just asking for one and they usually say if you buy one more you can get a 3rd piece of vanilla. read more

Omg - what a horrible experience, 8-8-2019 around 8pm. Woman cashier/scooper must have been on drugs or was on her 18th hr of work. Was dead to the world, and was messing up orders, and seemed to not understand what people were saying. Plus, the flies, midges, and other insects were all over the place. The fudge-makers seemed oblivious. Ice cream so mediocre, and some weren't even labeled. The tray of "goodies" in the photo for this place was all kitty-wonky and unappealing. Sad face. read more

Went in today to purchase some fudge, didn't want a slice just half of a slice and was told "we only sell by the slice as a quarter of slice of chocolate very visible on the very top shelf on the left of the case. Cute little spot. A lot of different types of fudge. I came there for a 1/4 pound of peanut butter and a 1/4 of maple nut. I left with six 1/2 pound slabs: peanut butter, maple nut, extreme chocolate, chocolate nut, vanilla, and cookies and cream. Looks like I have a lot of sharing to do with my coworkers. I went in ready to buy a 1/2 pound of Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge. A small line was formed when I entered, no big deal. Turns out the first 4 in line were sisters with their Mom. The person ahead of me was a Mom with her new born. Pretty good deal because the line would move fast! Little did I know that the sisters and Mom would be one of those families that had to sample each flavor of fudge. I'm okay with sampling but every flavor was ridiculous. The woman in front of me turned and rolled her eyes. Just when decisions were in the Father walked in. He told his wife he would just share hers but she pointed out that it was buy 3slices get 1 slice for free; well guess who had to have a sample. Finally, it was decided they would get 3 slices but the attendant kept saying they get the 4th for free even though the mom said to give them 3 slices. I left because now it was going to take even longer. As I exited so did the mother of the newborn. Management needs to either set a limit on samples or have more than 1 employee working the couter read more

Good fudge, my fiancee and her friend got the "Chiller Fudge" ice cream dish and the girls working the register charged us $7.50 for a $5.00 item, I asked them why it cost more, the girls didn't have an answer and just kind of mumbled it away. Won't be back. read more

The fudge is consistent but not extraordinary. Make sure your bag is sealed tight and the fudge will keep for days.

I've only had a sample from the fudgery and i'm not sure that I would ever buy any fudge as it's just too rich. It's something where you can only have a bite or two and then put it down or throw it away and some of the fudge is just ok anyway. I will say this though, they make a solid freshly squeezed lemonade. It's so good that that is the only place I will get lemonade in Corolla. Wish I felt the same way about the fudge... read more
