I would come here again. We loved it. Best veggie pizza I ever ate. My sister said same thing. Weird, but it works! Plenty of drinks to choose from... a whole fridge to pick from.. lol Bacon popcorn is weird, but we couldn't stop eating it even though we were like... hmm... Very helpful staff!! Cool old antique stove and cool decor vibes.

I definitely will come back. Very dog friendly since they have outdoor dining. Also they are vegan friendly. Great pizza ! Only one thing is I was looking for the "partner" of pizza and beer which is chicken wings, but they don't have that. However, still will come back for their pizza!

Just have to update my review to commend The Fridge for adapting their business to meet COVID guidelines, enforce the rules and make their guest feel safe. All tables have been removed from inside. They have an employee standing by the fridge to get your beer for you. The tables in the outside tented areas are spatially distanced and QR code's on each table. Food purchase is required at some point during your stay.

A strong 4.25. I've been stopping in here for the better part of 6 years when I'm in town from Virginia and have always loved this spot as a "beer guy". It's a cool cozy space to grab beer to go, have a pour and some food. When it's cold out, they've got some wood stoves fired up to warm up. The draft list is always well managed. They've always got a healthy selection of IPAs, stouts, porters, etc. most of which are local to the PA area. They even manage to get a few Hill Farmstead taps from time to time. My one gripe are the price points on can singles to go are absurd. There is a great selection but the prices per can are painful. The craft IPA/DIPAs that id be interested in leaving with range from $7-$12...per can! Good for them if they have no trouble getting those cans out the door relatively fresh but that markup is just too much. Anyhow, I'm there for the draft nowadays which is always rotating and tasteful. You can even get a flight. I'll see you guys next visit!

Excellent spot to explore craft beers. I used to live down the street and would walk over to pick up mix and matched six packs. It's a great spot in town for lunch as well. They have a roasted veggie sandwich with delicious avocado hummus that is to die for! The location is small but has indoor and outdoor seating. Great little spot.

Another very overdue review (kindergarten teacher life! ), but this one is especially special…read morebecause Bert and the Elephant became part of our wedding story long before our wedding day. About a year before our wedding, my husband and I were exploring Lancaster as a potential wedding location. While walking down the street, I spotted a giant pink elephant. For those who don't know me, Delirium is my all-time favorite beer, and its logo is a pink elephant, so of course, it immediately caught my attention. When we walked inside, and I realized it was a Belgian beer bar and restaurant, I was absolutely ecstatic. Bert, the owner, noticed how excited we were, and we started talking. Bert is incredible! He is so knowledgeable about all of his different beers and cares about every single detail. He even has a different glass for almost every beer because, to him, the details matter. But what really stood out was how he treats people. Bert makes you feel like family. Before we left that day, he even gifted me a little ceramic pink elephant straight from his decor. I was absolutely giddy, and I still have that little elephant proudly displayed in my home today. I knew right then and there that we had to have our after-party at Bert and the Elephant. And we did! We were able to rent out the entire place for two hours after our wedding. We had an open bar for the first hour and delicious finger foods for a late-night snack. I'm sure you're thinking, "That must have been insanely expensive," but it wasn't! And it was the perfect location, right down the street from our hotel, so everyone could walk there easily. Our wedding day fell during a heatwave, and unfortunately, the heat definitely affected how many people could make it to the after-party. Everyone was exhausted from the day, but Bert and his staff still made sure that everyone who came had an amazing time. They were welcoming and attentive, making the night feel so special. Bert and the Elephant turned out to be the perfect way to end our wedding night. What started as a random pink elephant catching my eye on a walk through Lancaster turned into one of my favorite wedding memories. We are so grateful to Bert and his staff for helping us end the night with great drinks, delicious food, and even better memories.

Owners Evita and Solise have created a space that shows appreciation to the culture, while celebrating the stories of people of African diaspora through literature and art. For those who are reading this and are from the DMV area think of Busboy & Poets but with a little twist. So what's the twist you ask? They offer beer and wine through a self-serve tap system. Meaning you receive a wristband that allows you to help yourself to a variety of local beers and wine. Each is charged by the ounce and is charged to your tab at the end of your visit. An added bonus is two of the wines that were available were made in-house; the Concord Jungle and Mizz Education. We enjoyed the Mizz Education which is a sweet and refreshing Moscato so much we ended up taking two bottles home with us. Let me just say this, I've been to my fair share of restaurants for brunch and the food at Concrete Rose hands down is the top 5 best food I've ever had. We tried a variety of options which include the Salmon Avocado Toast, Soul of the Sea and Chicken wings with concord bbq sauce. All were seasoned, cooked and plated to perfection. Whew Lord just thinking about those crab cakes with herbed garlic butter and remoulade sauce has me thinking about taking a road trip to get some more. Ambiance, food and service are all top tier at A Concrete Rose. Do yourself a favor and check them out. There's so much there for you to see and try! I can promise you one thing, you won't be disappointed. Evita and Solise you've outdone yourselves on this one! So proud of what you both have accomplished.
