Beer selection is out of this world and the food is very special and reasonably priced. Whoever comes up with the pizzas and the other menu items are very inventive and execute creative ideas flawlessly. (Try the hummus - it is AMAZING) I've only seen one band here so far but they were extraordinary - I believe that the singer was a relative of the owner. Some of the staff are super friendly and some of them are ice cold but I suppose that's a teeny tiny price to pay when visiting such a genuinely cool place. All in all, a great place to try new, hard to find beers for cheap. Love it. read more

Always a worthwhile stop! Amazing food - wood-fired, very thin-crust pizza with flavors changing daily. It's always fun to stop and see what type of pizza you can try that day. Beer selection is great. Their bottle variety is fantastic. Taps rotate and always feature good brews. It is a small restaurant, but that is part of the atmosphere. Best Mac and cheese ever !! Probably very unhealthy, but I crave this stuff almost everyday! Friendly staff makes it even better. My only complaint is that it gets so crowded that finding a table can be difficult at dinner times, but not worth taking off a star. read more

I'm very confused why this place has 4 of 5 stars... The pizza was just plain bad. Next to no cheese, no sauce, overcooked crust, and the list goes on. The pizza was just too dry for consumption. As my husband and I ate it, a Lil Caesars commercial came on and we wished we would have just gotten that :/ also it is quite costly (2 pizzas of 6 thin crust slices was $37). This is a great place for a fun Friday night. They have a great beer selection. Its a very chill place and very comfortable. Don't expect NY or Philly Style pizza but its great craft pizza. We tried the Kale, Margarita, short fib and Veggie. We also had the cheese plate. Will definitely be visiting again! read more

Staying at the hotel next to The Fridge so decided to give it a try. My husband and I liked it. Great beer selection. Great pizza if you like gourmet pizza, which we do. We didn't think it was overpriced but we're from California... It is a little small but cozy. We had an open tab and when we wanted to close it, we had to wait in the looooong line of people placing orders for pizza...next time we won't leave a tab open...it was frustrating to wait in line to close it. read more

Stopped by for lunch on a Thursday. Not very busy and tables were available both inside and out. The beer selection is huge and not sure where to start . If you ask one of the staff they will help you pick out two or three different types. Pizza is thin crust which is my favorite and they had 4 different types to choose from. This place is definitely not your typical Lancaster pizza joint and that right there is the most important point. I can't say enough good things. Loved the pizza and self serve beer selection. The prices of the beer are decent. However I did think the pizza by the slice pricing is a little high compared to pizza places similar to this one I've been to. Several of us came for lunch. Most picked up ready made slices of thin crust pizza and beer and got to eat right away. The few of us who ordered off the board menu had to wait so long for our food that everyone else was done eating already. Due to the nearby college campus, this place is usually very busy and crowded. As a result, the food is usually hot or at least warm enough to satisfy. Pizza toppings are creative. Beverage selection is very good, especially for brews, but not everything listed on the board is always available. Overall, I give it three stars for A-OK, but not beyond that. read more

As expected Friday night after 6 is not the best time to go for 1st timers but we made the best if it, enjoyed/was pretty impressed with the selection, had one beer no pizza felt it was way over priced. We found 2 people that were nice enough to let us share thier table but Europeon style seating( one long table and benchs) would definitely suit the space more and create a bit more of a cozy vs cramped atmosphere. 4.5/5 stars. The beer selection here is awesome and extensive. For a beer noob like myself, I like how I can pick out a single beer to try with my food and see if I like it. I also like making my own varietal 6-pack to go. I've only tried their pizzas here and they are yummy and creative. They are more like artisan flatbreads than pizza, and I like that. They also change up what they have frequently. I haven't tried their other foods, but they look good and look forward to trying them! It is a popular place to go, and you will find people sitting both inside and outside. The interior is simple, yet has character. There is somewhat limited seating both inside and outside. Because of this, it is not a good idea to go with a big group. Half of the time, it is hard to find a seat and so if you decide to go for the first time, try and go during non-peak hours. read more

Super hip and trendy bottle shop in Lancaster City that I always wanted to sit and chill at for a bite. My girlfriend and I decided on wedges as a started and pizza for dinner. The wedges were awesome with a real great sauce for dipping. The pepperoni pizza was delicious and I love the fact they are flatbread. They have also a great bottle selection and taplist. This is a cool place to kick back with some good food and beer. read more

Pizzas are by the slice or a whole pie. Since they have a few varieties and are thin crust it's fun mix and match. The beer selection is amazing as well - I was able to find my favorite beer - the Duchess of Bourgogne. Highly recommended for a quick, casual bite. This place is definitely so far the best thin crust pizza in Lancaster. The crust is crispy, super thin, but not a cracker. It has good flavor and I like how they use local ingredients to invent various topping combinations. I've tended to like the specialty ones the best. The margharita is a bit bland and the spinach/kale one is a bit on the bitter side. Also, they really need to do something about the seating in this restaurant. All the tables have almost always been full when I've come and they don't have any system around waiting for a table and also don't have a spot to wait. It feels awkward just standing there and also looking around to see who's leaving and making sure you get a table since there's no order in terms of when you got there compared to others. read more

This celebration of beer and fresh, local comfort food is my favorite spot in Lancaster. It is hard to believe that some thing like The Fridge exists. It can get busy, and the line to order and pay can get long, but I am always here for the long session. I don't think I have ever stayed for less than two hours. Hands down the rudest and most unwelcoming service I have ever received in the great city of Lancaster. The girl at the counter (Kelly, I think) was extremely short with us and talked down to us. She also snapped at us that the kitchen was extremely backed up and it would take a little while. We only got 2 personal pizzas, yet a little while soon turned into a little over an hour. The front girls and the cooks seem to not understand how to communicate, or frankly what day of the week it is. I also tried to buy 2 cans of house wine, and was met with "give me the id of the other one." Mind you I am 34, and have a full beard. While I was simply paying for my friend as a nice gesture, what if I personally wanted two cans?? Ridiculous. I also witnessed (while waiting an hour for my pizzas) Kelly snap back at a man saying "I can't hear you!" I'm sorry, who raised you? What happened to "beg your pardon" or excuse me?" During a pandemic non the less!! I also was most definitely over charged for the house wine. 10 bucks a can? Please. I'm from New York City, get off your high horse. I heard a rumor this place was shutting down, hope it's true. They will not be receiving any of my time or money in the future. read more

Stopped in for the first time today. We had already eaten so decided to try some new beer. Nice little place, warm and cozy. Pizza looked good and there was a nice afternoon crowd there but still plenty of seating. Couldn't believe how expensive the create your own six pack was. They ring up individually and do not adjust to a special price or anything. $23 for a 6 pack of beer which is crazy. We've never paid more than $13 from other locations. We were happy with the choices but not the price. We may be back for a slice and A bottle but no more than that. read more
