I love coming here with the family! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. We've had such an amazing experience with Iliana! She was so warm with my kids. She went out of her way to learn their names and interact with them while we were there. Every time we go back, my kids go looking for her! Yes, it's a little pricey, but it's worth it. I wish the Buffet were open during the week though. More open days would mean more visits (at least for me). The weekend only hours often bring long lines at the entrance and buffet areas. read more

For it being the only casino buffet in the area I give it an extra star. Buffet is small compared to previous casino buffets. Besides Vegas the other one I used to go to was Pechanga Casino. Wish they had crab legs or a lobster night. I did like the variety of foods, raw oysters, prime rib was very good, Italian bar, Mexican. One of my favorites is Chile relleno and the fact that it's in a buffet, I lost count how much I ate. Drinks are included. Service was very good. This was the the first meal I ate when I arrived at the resort casino. It was a typical buffet with salad, meat, rice, spaghetti and etc. Unfortunately, I was full already when I came to this buffet, and could not eat everything fully. I regret that, since the food was pretty good. I especially liked and recommend the chocolate dipped strawberry. There is a big chocolate fountain for the strawberry fondue. You won't regret it. The chocolate covered big strawberries are so good and sweet. I also liked the lasagna, but I couldn't finish it all. The service was pretty nice and it was a clean, regular old buffet that you can imagine in your head, but I still liked it. read more

I've eaten good food here before, but today I made the mistake of ordering the huevos rancheros. The worst I've ever eaten. It looked like sick on a plate. The salsa tasted like it was from a jar. The beans were very disappointing. Were they from a can? Highly possible. There was no sour cream. They should take this off the menu. The service was friendly, but not very attentive. It looks like a typical diner. They add a 3% fee if you use a credit card. read more

My husband and I have now been twice. After the Pandemic we have missed a good buffet. We researched and listened to friends and found this amazing gem. Today was our second trip after a full month (we cannot do buffet too frequently...) and each and every person of the service staff, including the remarkable lady who remembered my one egg omelet order (!) are fantastic. The service is exceptional. The care a detail that each person takes to make every last diner feel seen and recognized is what any person hopes to receive. I'm really surprised by all the good reviews for this buffet. We came here at the suggestion of the front desk at the resort we were staying at, and were all fairly disappointed. There was a group of five of us, and while they had no trouble getting us a table, or sorting out our desire to pay separately, the dining experience itself left a lot to be desired. We got there at about 6 pm on a Friday night, starving and hoping for some good options to get us through the night. I felt like we were lied to by the name of the place - "Fresh" was nowhere to be found. While there was a good variety of items, there was way too much that looked old, or like it had been sitting out for a long time, to be acceptable. The spinach in the salad bar was mostly wilted. I had to dig around the bowl, but I saw too many leaves that looked suspect, wilted, or one step away from slimy to make me feel comfortable in consuming it. I ended up going with the vegetable lo mein (a bit too crunchy for lo mein), the shrimp tempura skewers (surprisingly delicious), the fried gyoza (tasted stale and were too hard to bite into), orange chicken (not horrible, but not great) and a small sampling of shrimp cocktail and mussels on the shell (probably the best thing I got that night). On my second pass, I made my own salad (steering clear of the sketchy spinach, which was a bummer), and that was decent. The other girls with me seemed a little underwhelmed by the food, as well. One of my sisters got the steamed pork bun, but when she got back to the table, proclaimed that she wouldn't be eating it. When we asked her why, she picked it up, and started knocking it against the plate. It was hard as a rock! The service was mediocre. Our waiter was attentive to every other table, and to the two girls at our table who ordered booze, but for the rest of us (two who were good with water and one who got a soda), he was almost non-existent. I had to flag him down to ask him for a refill, after he'd passed by our table a few times and completely ignored my empty glass. i guess we just went on an off-day. Maybe they were having a problem with their food supplier or the person who prepped the food before it went to the floor. All I know is that it's unacceptable to try to serve old, hard, wilted or slimy food to your paying customers. read more

Surprised I hadn't reviewed this buffet yet. While I don't come to Fantasy Spring very often, I have ate here before, but it had been a while. It's actually a very descent buffet. I found the environment to very country club like, or possibly a small convention center dining area. It's decorated well, but it's a low ceiling so it's not a very open atmosphere. The service is top notch. Drinks were filled immediately and finished plates were not left long on the table. They even brought new silverware without being asked where other buffet's tend to ask you to keep your knife and fork. We arrived around 1pm on a Saturday and noted they still had some breakfast options available. Throughout the course of our meal, I saw them being to switch it out for Italian. The food was fairly solidly average. For me, this is good. I don't expect gourmet food at a buffet, but I want a taste I expect and hot. They had German Chocolate Cake for desert which was a plus for me. Pricing is on par with other buffets, in fact they might be a little less expensive. Overall, I would come back here. They've definitely improved from what I last remember. read more

My family went to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday at the buffet on Sunday. What a great time we had especially my mom. The service was incredible, the restaurant manager Sal was so friendly and held my moms arm and helped her to the table until we paid. My mom was warmed with his kindness, then server Johana brought my mom a piece a cake and sang happy birthday. Excellent place to celebrate special occasions, great food and great service. This is a fabulous buffet. They have a wide variety of choices from Italian, Mexican, Chinese along with buffet staples and a lot of ready made salads as well as making your own. Our servers are what made our night at this restaurant. I should have listened to the reviews! The food was really poor quality. They can't even make decent fried chicken. Buy frozen if you can't put out some decent bird. The collard greens were fabulous. The rice cake with shrimp I had seconds of. The fried shrimp was good, as were the muscles. The cocktail shrimp were tasteless. The desserts? Except for the coconut bars, hardly any flavor. I didn't do it but wished I would have dipped one in chocolate. How do you have tasteless chocolate chip cookies? The peanut butter didn't have much flavor either? How? They looked so good! If it wasn't for the servers... I should have asked for a refund, we even paid full price! Please, heed the reviews. Don't waste your hard earned on the buffet or in the slots. What we loved most was the brisket roast and the mashed potatoes and delicious gravy. However, we loved so many other food items too. Everything was wonderful. Fantastic buffet for $15.99 including drinks (coffee tea, juice, etc). We went Saturday brunch and all the food looked fresh and service areas clean. Some gluten free standouts for me were: carving station brisket, turkey; condiment bar including cranberry sauce (albeit can most likely); freshly grilled vegetables, salad bar, kimchi (!), mashed potatoes, brown rice, kalbasa; dipped strawberries, marshmallows, rice crispy squares in the chocolate fountain, vanilla glaze, flan, soft serve machine, sweet fresh pineapple, etc. This by far has the best dessert bar I've seen at any buffet - sugar free cakes, bread pudding, bananas foster, dream bars, wedding cookies, variety of cakes (tres leches, caramel, carrot, chocolate ganache, tiramisu, cheesecake, etc. I took one for the team, and it was worth it. All were sweet and decadent, just like I remember. Other items which came from the brunch, Italian, Mexican, Asian, American bars were: Apple pancakes, bacon, sausage, eggs, glazed donuts (!); eggplant parm, meatballs, garlic bread, freshly cooked with sauce and toppings If your choice pasta; Spanish rice, beans, cheese enchiladas, chili verde, flour tortillas, chili relleno; orange chicken, beef broccoli, gyoza, egg rolls, kimchi fried rice, kimchi and tofu soup short ribs; Mac and cheese, collard greens. One of the better buffets I've been to. Huge variety / selection of entrees, salads, veggies and desserts. The Prime Rib was seriously some of the best I've ever had anywhere, bar none, buffet OR steakhouse. My experience has typically been that the prime rib you get in buffet's is usually on the dry side and lacking flavor. Not here!!! Melt in your mouth tender and just enough marble to keep it juicy and tasty. Lightly seasoned to damn near perfection! Baked bass was awesome, bacon wrapped chicken, Shrimp Caesar salad, BBQ spare ribs, garlic spinach... All above average. Dessert selection was phenomenal and I really didn't know where to start. But I kept it on the lighter side and ONLY went with a small slice of coconut cake and small serving of the bread pudding. The cake was good but bread pudding was fantastic, (as was the vanilla crème you top it off with). At $24.95 / person, an excellent deal. read more

Came here for Sunday champagne brunch with friends. Service was top notch. Never had empty champagne and we stayed quite a bit. Server never rushed us or was bugged that we were camping hanging out. Food was pretty good. Nothing that really jumped out as amazing. Felt like a standard buffet. 32 dollars for brunch was worth the experience we got. You never know what to expect at buffets at casinos outside of Las Vegas. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the buffet here. We came to do some gambling and for the ladies to play Bingo. But first, we needed dinner. The dinner was 20/person and was well worth it. It's not a big buffet but they have a good selection in the space that they do have. There is a good salad bar and I was able to make a nice salad. There is also a pasta station and the lady that runs the station is so nice and friendly. The dessert section is your typical buffet type. If you hunt around carefully you can find some good choices. This is a solid choice if you're in the casino and looking for a place to eat. read more

When given the choice between a Buffet and a regular restaurant....I prefer a regular restaurant. However, my client insisted on a Buffet. So....we went to the buffet for lunch. The buffet is smaller than most buffets I've experienced in Vegas. Despite the relatively small sized buffet, I was pleased to find a good selection of food. They had Chinese, BBQ, Italian, Salad, Carving Station, Pizza, and Dessert. For the first round, I opted for some Pizza, Cheese Ravioli's w/Alfredo Sauce, and Sausage Penne Pasta w/Creamy Vodka Sauce. The Pizza was pretty good....better than the Pizza in their Pizza Kitchen restaurant. The Cheese Ravioli's were good too....although I thought the Alfredo sauce was a little bland...could have used a little Garlic. The Sausage Penne Pasta w/Creamy Vodka Sauce was the highlight of Round 1. The Italian Sausage had a nice little kick to it and the Penne Pasta was slightly Al Dente....I love Al Dente Pasta, this was close enough. For Round 2 I decided to go for some Chinese. I filled my plate up with Fried Rice, Orange Chicken, Vegetable Egg Rolls, and Chicken Potstickers. I topped off the plate with Spicy Thai Pepper Paste & had a small cup of Sweet & Sour Sauce for dipping the Potstickers & Egg Rolls. The Fried Rice was ok....it could have used a little more Vegetables, but it was cooked just right and was fresh. The Orange Chicken was too sweet for my tastes....I know it's suppose to be Sweet, but this tasted like pure Molasses and didn't have a spicy kick to it, which would have made it much better. The quality of the Chicken was pretty good. The Egg Rolls were flavored just right and had the paper thin, crispy shell, which I love....& not the thick, doughy shell, which I don't prefer. The Chicken Potstickers had some potential.....the outer shell is suppose to be soft and chewy....these were soft and chewy except for the edges which were hard....that usually means they're dried out from sitting too long. I rarely see Chicken Potstickers at buffets....normally, they are of the Pork variety. The flavor of the Chicken was very good....like I said, they have some potential. After 2 Rounds I was done. Overall, I enjoyed the buffet. Will I return? If I'm staying at Fantasy Springs, I wouldn't mind eating here again. As I said, buffets are not my 1st choice, but this one was pretty good. read more

I hate that I'm giving this away, but it must be done. It's that good. Seriously. This banana cream pie taught me how to love again. It taught me how to be a human in an increasingly hate filled and desolate world run by hipsters and the unironic. This pie is the answer to what ails ya. I could write about the delicate interplay if banana to cream to chocolate (yes, it has chocolate!). Just take my word when I say it's good. Damn good. **Road-Trip Diversion** - NOT!! It's kind of a long story but, my Mom is a gambler and ended up with a $200+ gift card here at Fantasy Springs. She gave it to me and the best value for me would be to use it for food on my frequent road-trips through here. This past Friday decided to try the Buffet. GEEZ, what a rip, Fri-Sat Dinner price is $25. per person. Trust me, any normal to even slightly big eater is gonna have trouble getting that kinda value out of this buffet. There just wasn't anything that stood-out. Salad/Fruit area was really limited. Carving station was Roast Beef and Turkey. All the "seafood" selections just scared me. The best items were the Mexican Food but, you know how much you gotta eat to get $25 worth?? Desserts all looked and tasted store bought. They talk about the Chocolate Fountain as being a special thing, it's just a pain in the ass and the chocolate wasn't very rich or or special to me. I'm not really a buffet kinda person. Although, since my Mom is quite the gambler, I've had quite a bit of Compt' Casino Buffet over the years and I can honestly say this one was really sad. $17 a pp for the lunch buffet. Came close to 11am, and the line was not that long, but the cashier was super slow. There was a craving area, salad bar, breakfast area, soup area, dessert, chinese and mexican station. The craving area had turkey and brisket. The sides included mashed potatoes, baked fish, steam veggies, etc. near the carving station. The chinese station had disgusting looking chow mein, orange chicken and stir-fried beef, egg rolls and vegetable samosas. The mexican station had pork chili verde, another pork dish, flour tortillas, chicken taquitos, cheese enchiladas. There was pizza station with pepperoni, vegetables, cheese pizza options. The breakfast option had make your own omelet, french toast, eggs, biscuits and gravy, apple pancakes, sausage, bacon, etc. French toast were delicious. It was moist, and it was cinnamon toast. They also have soup bar with menudo and three bean and ham soup. The menudo was lacking in flavor and didn't have that much tripe. Was sad the ice cream machine is ice cream was not creamy, but more icy. They also ran out of cake cones. The server, Rosie, was great. It's not at the same level as a Vegas Casino buffet but it is a good alternative to fast food or when you have a group that can't decide were they want to go. The selection is pretty good, the quality is at the upper end of buffet foods and the food is fresh. Soups, salads, meats, desserts, Asian, Mexican , Italian, pretty much something for everyone. A nice stopping point on the way back from Arizona before you get too close to LA. Price is reasonable considering the selection, and if you really think about it, most resturants are going to charge you $10-$13.00 for an entree, $2.50 for a soft drink, another $4.00 for dessert and here you get it all for under $20.00 and you can try a lot of different things and have more than one dessert item. And then after you are done eating you can spend an hour or so on casino games before you hit the road to LA and get stuck in traffic. read more

There were many food choices to satisfy everyone's favorites, and the food was delicious! Went for Mothers Day buffet. Waited 2hrs in a line that barely moved ahead. Ended up leaving. It would have easily been another hour or two more to get to eat. This buffet line was so poorly managed. Patrons would have one person wait in line then when they were close to getting in, their group would then cut in line. No way of telling when you would get to actually eat. Management we have technology today. By allowing people to come in, check in their party and texting them when a table was available could alleviate the line in front of the escalators, people behind machines and in walk ways. Please keep in mind we have kids and elderly that come to the resturant as well. Knowing where you stand with the number of check-ins would allow you to project wait time.
