Couldn't stop smiling walking around this shop, and that's what it's all about folks...this is a great local business offering lots of trinkets, odds and ends, unique gifts and random novelty goodness. Lots of high quality games, high grade soaps and incense, and interesting doodads. Old Town oozes charm and culture. You can visit a historic chapel, roam the many cute shops or grab something to eat at one of the restaurants. There's a lot of really interesting Native American keepsakes and art to check out as well. You also never know what could be going on here - I happened to stumble into a quincenera and visited around Day of the Dead, so there was some really neat decor all around. My friend had a bunch of Native American shops bookmarked and they were all in this general area so we came to do multiple things at the same time. The shops here are closer to the reservation with lots of Native American artists so it is much more affordable than the same thing in Santa Fe. It is a bit touristy but we are tourists so we enjoyed it. Many shops had unique items that were hard to find and even though it was mainly for show I loved seeing the dried chili everywhere. The area has legit history and age and it was great being able to see and do so much without moving our car. Parking was easy and from the town square you can get to many different shops, restaurants, and attractions. The church was a nice fast stop, but I liked the exterior more than the interior. The vibe and architecture are perfect American Southwest and we enjoyed our time here. There was also a Pokemon card shop I grabbed some cards for the kids from!

It's been several…read moreyears since I've been in this store, but it was the first store that popped in my head to visit. I think this was my first visit to the store off of Louisanna/Montgomery. The last time I visited, his store was on Wyoming/Montgomery. The store had a lot to offer my company. They happily browsed through the isles. I was impressed with his stock, it was clean, and it was well organized. The owner started to check us out, but his grandson came to relieve him, so he finished the transaction. They were both friendly and knowledgeable about chiles. He also roasts chiles when in season. We found the perfect ristra. We'll be back.

We saw the plants in the window, and they had the succulents we were looking for as well as other attractive house plants. As we wandered the store, we looked at the gently used women's wear (beautiful dresses, and unique jackets), books, and kitschy items that include items men (and women) would like for camping or traveling. As we checked out, we noticed some fun stickers. I bought one for my niece: " Cool Girls Care." The gentlemen who checked us out was personable and helpful. He told us his store had only been here a month. He also told us where our mural was located - around the corner! So glad we found it and this shop. Both were memorable!

I was able to get a couple nice things for myself as well as a great gift for a friend back home who dog sat my furry companion. The store is pretty big and virtually every inch has something interesting to consider buying. I wish the online store featured more of the items actually sold in store because I'd probably buy a cactus for myself after seeing the one I bought my friend. The salesperson also gave us some tips on where to visit while we were in the area. She was really friendly and a great resource for us. If you only get a chance to visit one gift shop in the area I'd say this one is your best bet!

I came in after a friend of mine gifted me a box of goodies from here. I just love shopping at local places and I loved our gift so much that I had to go and get one for my friends who were visiting from out of state. As soon as I opened the door I was greeted with a warm welcome from the person behind the register. I walked through the quaint little shop and just fell in love with everything. I didn't realize I was going to spend as much as I did since none of the items had prices on them. A nice young man checked on me to see if I needed help after a few minutes which was nice. I left with several items that they added to a cute gift box. I know where to go next time I need some local gifts.

It's walkable from Old Town Albuquerque but you can also drive and park since there are plenty of parking spots. The things that stood out as unique here was the large selection of Pendleton made blankets and clothing with Native American patterns. There is almost an overwhelming amount of items here so it's good if you like browsing. The staff also knows a lot so if you have questions or are looking for a specific item you can ask away. You can also ask for a discount and haggle the prices if you think it's too much. My friend accidentally broke a Kachina doll that was already slightly broken, he felt bad and requested we come back right before our flight so he could pay for it. Staff was very kind and gave him a massive discount. He has it proudly displayed at his home now!
