Fun brewery that's both a cozy local neighborhood spot and a "destination brewery" for happy hours,…read morethe post work groups, dates, etc. Great brews on tap, with a helpful board describing both the type of beer, flavor profiles, and ABV clearly. Food menu focused on BBQ and sandwiches. Happy hour Tuesday-Friday 3-6pm with $1 off draft pours and some food items and other deals. Looks like they currently are running a daily food special as well. Indoor and outdoor seating options. Nachos are great with huge portions (pictured is the HALF size). Only kind of critique on the menu is that there aren't really any options if you're looking to be a little healthier (don't really have veggies or veggie sides etc). I think if they had some lighter options, I'd be a regular. (Though I'm pretty sure what they're doing is working great for them - had a decent amount of people for 4pm on a Friday already and was getting busier by the time we left around 5:30pm.) Did they get rid of their back room / games area? Looked like that was an employee only area when we went yesterday.

I'm not drinking as much these days so it's nice to be able to come here and have a bite and a root beer and not feel out of place. I met up with a friend and her younger daughter as well, and it was a comfortable, somewhat kid friendly environment around dinner time, too (they even have a kid's menu, FYI). It's a casual atmosphere here, with a walk up counter to order your food and offerings like pulled pork sandwiches, ribs on Saturdays, and BBQ topped mac and cheese, which is what I opted for during my visit. It was great! The brisket was a nice smoky contrast to the creamy mac and cheese. Decadent but filling! I also split some soft pretzels with my friends and those were enjoyable as well. Carryout is available. Meat is smoked daily so when it's gone, it's gone, so I'd recommend coming early if you have your heart set on something.

This place was very unexpected for the description of pub and pizzeria…read more The atmosphere and ambience is a vibe as soon as you open the door very upscale, clean and inviting. Friendly staff, upbeat, lots of smiles. Server was great she was from Chicago one of my favorite cities. The food is great, cannot say enough about the chicken bacon ranch calzone it's amazing one of the best I've ever eaten. Also have tried the Ruben sandwich with fries. Sandwich was tasty but Extremely small portion for the price and the fries are skinny so eat them fast or they'll get cold quick. Been back 3 times. Placed a to go order on the way home from Ann Arbor and once again it did not disappoint. It was lunchtime on a Wednesday and they were packed with a 25 minute wait time, so glad I had placed a to go order, but that just goes to show you how well they are doing I highly recommend checking them out, I'm definitely gonna mane my way around

I don't say this lightly, because I've been to a lot of pizza places in my life, but this spot…read moreeasily lands in my top three. Top. Three. The place itself is newer, which you can immediately tell from the clean, modern décor and the fact that it doesn't feel like it's been operating unchanged since 1994. It's a great spot to come with friends or family, or to grab a seat and catch a game. In our case, we were taking clients out to eat, and they chose this place, which instantly earned them major points. Excellent pick. Naturally, we ordered appetizers, because skipping apps would be irresponsible. The artichoke and spinach dip was rich, creamy, and dangerously good, and the garlic knots were next-level tasty. Warm, garlicky, and impossible to stop eating. Zero regrets. For the main event, we ordered two pizzas: one Detroit-style (Red Top) and one regular pizza. And wow. Just... wow. The cheese pull on these beauties was absolutely ridiculous, the kind that deserves a slow-motion video. The pizza itself was phenomenal. The crust was crispy yet perfectly chewy, the cheese was hot, melty, and gloriously stringy, and the sauce actually had flavor (which shouldn't be rare, but somehow is). To top it all off, our server was fantastic. Super friendly, genuinely funny, and great with everyone at the table, which always makes the experience even better. Bottom line: incredible pizza, great vibes, awesome service. I would recommend this place to anyone without hesitation. It will not disappoint... unless you hate good pizza, in which case, this place is not for you.

Ok. We've given Sam Hill 5 visits and we are done. From the first disaster at brunch to last…read morenight's ridiculousness, we are done with Sam Hill. I'm sure others like it though I'm not sure why or how. Monday night. Two adults and one kid. Service was very sweet. Husband ordered an Old Fashioned with Markers Mark instead of their well. What he got was a super sweet cocktail. Almost too sweet to drink. He said it was fine. He didn't want to fuss. Let's just move on to the food. We both were feeling like a patty melt. I asked to add mushrooms and leave off the special sauce (thousand island type stuff). What we got was a plate with soggy sourdough stuffed with salty saucy pot roast covered in cheese and onions. That is not a patty melt. I looked up the description on the menu online and it doesn't say pot roast but braised beef. I get it after seeing what was on the plate and wouldn't have ordered it if there was a picture or if it said it was saucy POT ROAST. The side salad I ordered for a $4 up charge was great. Beautiful and fresh. Even their ranch is really good. I tried to eat the sandwich but it was too salty and disappointing. I wanted a patty melt. Pot roast isn't a frickin patty. My husband powered through his. He was too hungry. The waitress offered to talk to the manager and came back to offer one of their smash burgers. I asked if it can be a patty melt on grilled bread instead of a bun. She was clueless. I ordered a burger and said just put it on the bread. It came out after my husband and little was well finished with their food. Her talking to the manager took way too long. The burger wasn't a smash burger either, it was two tiny over cooked patties. Smash burgers are thin and with crispy edges. This was not. The caramelized onion fondue cheese sauce was the highlight but at this point I was just eating to fill my belly and get out of there. Husband and little ordered the strawberry shortcake dessert just so they weren't sitting there waiting for me to finish. Idk what that rock hard shortcake was made out of but it took muscle to get thru it. It wasn't dry just very dense and tasteless. There was too much biscuit to macerated strawberries. It needed to be dunked in the syrup to get some flavor. It's was stout enough to handle it. When the bill was brought out, I had to ask for an iced tea refill. No refills were offered or given the whole visit. Total was ~$73 before tip. This is it for us. They have a nice private dining room that I would have loved to consider for our company holiday party but only if the food was better. They are consistently poor in either the execution or description of their menu items.

Looks like there are yard games and it's family and dog friendly. Sat inside which was large and spacious. Service was friendly and attentive. Got a chicken caesar wrap, which I enjoyed. The house made chips were really good - thick and crunchy. Wrap and chips were made even better with a touch of hot sauce on the side. Also shared the mini pasties. Haven't seen this on menus, and these were good! Super buttery pastry, a nice savory beef and vegetable filling, and gravy.

We were one of first ppl there so grease was fresh and you could tell because chips and fries were the best tasting ever. Then the club sandwich may have looked more like a slim jim but was excellent! Bloody Mary was also perfect! Now the best part...the chicken tenders were huge full tenderloins not trimmed or split and the batter was out of this world good. Never ever ate chicken tenders that tasted so good and my son has eaten nothing but for 13 years and I try them all the time. The batter was similar to a fish batter but the texture and taste with chicken was again amazing! And get this...I hate chicken. Absolutely hate it and would eat beef all day but I ate my sandwich and ate every piece of chicken my wife left when she was full. Ate it to where you have to pop your pants button it was that good! I would go there to eat even if I didn't have son playing hockey. Go try them and if you don't agree, I'll eat them! Bartender was super nice and did a great job as well! Purchase 10/18/25 11:30 am
