Really unique brunch menu! The breakfast pizza was really good and flavorful. I feel that the chicken and waffles could have been a little hotter but they had great flavor! Bottomless is only 15$ and the mimosa was one of the best my friend has ever had. Will be back! read more

If you want a tasty burger on the Main Street in Pompano Beach the Foundry delivers. There is a great bar area that allows you to be outside but have access. The Foundry burger was not overstuffed and had just about the right amount of lettuce, cheese and tomato. The accompanying fries were warm and salted and a good side. Add some beer and a ocean breeze and you are living right. Service was a little scattered. read more

The food and service were amazing especially since I went with a group of 20 girls for brunch. Our waiter was attentive and handled our requests with ease. The food was amazing too! Everyone had compliments for the brunch menu items and drinks. I highly recommend this place! read more

I rarely give bad reviews especially if I've only gone to a place once, but... I'll start with the unlimited mimosas and bloody marry. I ordered the Bloody Mary first. I asked for a spicy Bloody Mary, what I received was no spice, and no flavor. I don't think I've ever had a Bloody Mary this bad... not even on a plane. It was flavorless, vodkaless, and just plain awful. I opted to switch to the mimosas. I typically get it with cranberry and no OJ. The temperature was if the sparkling wine had been outside since the sun rose. I asked for ice to put in it hoping the waiter would get the point, but he didn't. We order octopus at every new place we try if it's on the menu. Let's just say for a place that offers wood fired pizza, they should probably apply that concept to the octopus. My wife went to the restroom and on the way back she saw meatballs on the counter to be delivered. Ten minutes later the waiter came by to apologize for the wait on food. She said to me "I hope those weren't the meatballs we ordered"... guess what they were. The only saving grace was the pizza. We ordered the chicken and prosciutto pizza. It was good but not great. Most times I'd say "we will give this place another try" but not this time. I've read all of the reviews and knew what to expect and I still gave it a shot... next time I'd probably try the place next door. Service was ok. read more

I came to the Foundry for brunch on Sunday. We had a reservation for noon and I was the first there. I asked to be seated outside and they took us to a side seating area. We asked to be moved to the front but we were moved to a very sunny table we asked for them to open up the awning some more, but the waitress did not do that. She said she would ask the manager but never follow through needless to say it was a very hard couple of hours. To start we ordered the bottomless mimosas. To be quite frank, the mimosas were not very good. They did give us a few refills, but they were serving them out of pitchers that were already premade so they were not bubbly and they did not have enough orange juice, just a hint. I know I should be happy with that because that means more alcohol, but I like my mimosas to be more balanced. As far as food I ordered the brunch bowl which came on a plate lol. It was not very tasty. The salad barely had any dressing, the quinoa was super bland, the eggs didn't have any salt or pepper, I can just go on. It was a perfectly bland plate that I did not finish. Service was good. Our waitress came by a few times. I suppose I could've address my concerns with her, but my food was just too bland to have any redemption, so I ate a little bit of it and called a day. She was nice enough, nothing out of this world but it was not bad service. they were quite busy so I appreciate she came around at all. I am not sure how this place is outside of their brunch. I know that I would not come back here for their brunch. I would be willing to give it a try for dinner or drinks and appetizers at some other point. read more

Went for Father's Day brunch with a reservation at 12:15. We were seated pretty quickly which was appreciated since we came hungry. I ordered the French toast and it came in a large portion and was delicious. My boyfriend opted for the chicken and waffles - he said the chicken was good but waffles were meh. We loved the decor inside and felt the restaurant was kept clean and well taken care of. Our only two gripes were that service was SLOW. The other is that when I called ahead to ask how much valet was I was told $5 but then at arrival the valet told me it was $7. Not sure how the price was raised $2 in less than 5 minutes but the valet honored the $5 I was originally quoted. read more

I visited the Foundry on a lovely Sunday afternoon! They were pretty empty & parking was easy & free. My group (6) was easily accommodated with no wait. Overall the service was great with good recommendations from the waiter and quick service. I ordered the recommended IPA, 26 Degrees, which is brewed nearby, and the short-rib grilled cheese. The sandwich was mostly short rib but perfectly balanced the cheese, which was great! I also sampled some of their famous Parmesan truffle brussel sprouts, which were honestly better than the fries!! They also have a great happy hour menu. read more

Disclaimer: this review is based solely on the happiest of hours.. when the drinks/food flow freely and cheaply. Happy hour is M-F 4pm- 7pm and Saturday 3pm-6pm. The restaurant itself is definitely one of a kind in its concept and decor. The foundry is based around the history of America and the industrial revolution. Basically paying tribute to hard American work ethic. This is reflected in the decor from wall to wall, and interestingly they also have some artifacts from American history on display as well. They pride themselves on fresh, hand made food cooked on an open flame using white oak. Yum! Walking in I was surprised how bustling it was for happy hour, I clearly have came to the right place. I asked the hostess if happy hour was only at the bars (both which were jam packed) and to my delight they honor it at the tables as well . They have an indoor and outdoor bar. I immediately scoped out the cocktail specials and I zeroed in on Don Q Puerto Rican Rum.. I just literally sat down and already I am in love.. or is it restaurant lust?!? So many places I go to and they don't carry Don Q..muy triste! I ordered a strawberry mojito with Don Q of course.. it was perfect.. not too strong not too sweet and fresh strawberries. At 5.00 a pop.. These went down pretty smooth! With Three of us at the table, we decided to order a bunch of bites and go to town. Blackened fish tacos, polpette (thank you previous reviews for this recommendation, my fellow yelpers never do disappoint), fire roasted wings, and short rib flat bread. All dishes were beyond delicious and for the amazing prices, the amount of food was definitely worth it. My biggest pet peeve is when restaurants cut the price down for happy hour but the portion wouldn't sustain a bird.. Not the case here at all. Came for happy hour..impressed with the rum I mean food... I will see you again in my gastronomic future foundry . read more

We hit this place up after spending a day on the boat. We ordered the mussels to start mmmm so good. And I ordered the sushi stack for my entree and I was very pleased!! The sushi stack was uuhhhmazing, the fish here is hella fresh please get it if you come here you will not be disappointed. My bf got the tuna stack and he absolutely loved it. This place is great with seafood! We did not order drinks (we were drinking all day) so cannot comment on that. My friend ordered the lobster ravioli and it was also very good!! If you're in the area, check it out! Service was great, our server was on point with water and taking and delivering our food. Very professional and kind. The place has a nice atmosphere- inside and outside seating. read more

I was in town for business and yelp brought this up as one of the top restaurants near me and it did not disappoint! The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was fun and lively on a Friday evening. The service seemed like they were a couple people short for the night so getting drinks / food took a little while but once they arrived, fortunately they were NOT a let down! Will definitely visit again. read more

food is fast food, not prepared to the table. definitely can get better food for the same price . flat bread is a Trader Joe's frozen pizza, clams were too salty , fries were dry and overcooked . overall , not coming back. go elsewhere for the same money. service was ok, nothing special, they screw up orders and table service. read more

Steel mill inspired eatery that is super trendy. I got the Sticky Buns- house-made sticky buns baked in Frangelico caramel sauce & brown sugar, cinnamon filling. Chicken & waffles - Oat cereal-crusted fried chicken, house-made waffles, maple syrup, honey butter . It reminded me of chicken katsu . & The Graham Cracker French Toast which came with a lemon pastry cream, seasonal berries, and cream cheese icing. w/additional side of eggs and bacon. All delicious and cooked well. Staff was friendly as well. Super big place and they tried to be as attentive as possible. read more

Came by at 9:30pm hoping to grab a quick drink and a couple of apps before they closed at 10pm. The bar looked like it had been shut for a while and when the bartender finally came around, he said he couldn't serve us as he had already closed his drawer. I said the closing time on the door was still 30 mins away and he said it was summer and slow therefore he closed the bar early. When I said it says 10pm on the door, he said "I am not corporate ". I will never go back and will stick to the better service across the road at Houston's! read more

This place really is worthy of a visit. The food is delicious. Our server Chris was great. We were totally those people that brought their dog with them and they were so kind serving her a bowl of water. I'm sad we haven't come here sooner. The pizza was my favorite, the Brussel sprouts delish. My fiancé and bestie loved the tacos and the short rib flat bread was tasty. We also had the truffle fries which we devoured before I could snap a pic. And the old fashion was great. We plan on coming back for brunch and again for dinner everything was very good! read more

Charming bar with excellent service staff. Just had to find my own parking out back. Not too bad. Mojito was a little different, maybe a bit sour, but good. Dog friendly, outdoor seating and shaded options with ceiling fans. We were disappointed that a group of 4 came in 5mins after us (a group of 2 plus dog stroller) and were seated before us due to them complaining, but otherwise it was a good time.Bottomless bloodys and mimosas, food is good, and prices are normal for this area. This is by far the cleanest kitchen I've ever worked in. I invite my friends and family to eat here all the time. I have worked in this business for over a decade and that says a lot about the quality of the restaurant. The Chefs Julian and Rosa are definitely quality driven but also extremely creative and adventurous with their specials. Something new every Brunch and Happy Hour as a special. There's usually something new and delicious to try read more

We were able to be seated outside within minutes of arrival midday on a Saturday. Great outdoor area/patio off the bar. Our server was friendly and knowledgable of the menu items. The burrata was one of the best I've had, wrapped in prosciutto and drizzled with a balsamic glaze. The overall presentation was excellent. We were warned that the shrimp and grits were very spicy but I feel that they were appropriate for the style of dish being prepared. Perfect creole flavor and spice level. They also are not stingy on the number of shrimp in the dish. Sometimes, restaurants fill the plate with the grits or vegetables, but the Foundry has a large portion in the dish. The mahi fried fish sandwich was also very flavorful with a good amount of spice from the jalapeño slaw. Overall the service was friendly and the meal was delicious. Great end to our boat morning. read more

Stopped a the Foundry last night for drinks after having dinner somewhere else. Past experiences of The Foundry have been pretty good; not tonight. The place was pretty empty inside with four people at the bar, hardly any tables filled inside, and some people sitting outside. Was served pretty quickly by Jacque (server) and drink orders placed; took a little longer than expected for two basic drinks, but not a big deal at all. Finished those drinks and never saw a server again for literally 20 minutes after the drinks were gone, so probably 40 minutes. Had to get up, go locate my server and ask for two more drinks. Waited yet another 15 minutes with no drinks. Again had to go locate my server and tell him to cancel the drinks and just bring me my check; went somewhere else where service is a priority. Not an apology, no offer to comp a drink. Just a $27 bill for two small rocks glass mixed drinks. Never again. Two basic drinks and have to wait over a half hour; come on. I understand everyone is understaffed and if the place was even remotely busy I would get it but that was definitely not the case here. read more

The service here is awful, and I can say that with it being the second time I came. I sat at a halfway filled bar seat and waited 10 mins before even getting recognized. The people next to me were happily helped but I was just glanced over. No restaurant should treat their patrons this way and I'm deeply upset this happened yet again. Management needs to address this issue and at the very least check on the patrons at the bar. read more

Have a seat at the bar and eat your dinner there if you normally get a table. If you're lucky, you'll get Lindsey taking care of you. She gives the kind of pre-Covid experience that we all miss sooo much! I can't say enough about her top notch style and service. Not to be outdone by Dimitrius and his kind, unwavering, professionalism. (I witnessed Dimitrius take a stabbing insult from a rude customer with the grace of a Buddhist monk) I adore these two and will be back just because of them. First, Frank...our server extraordinaire, was the best of the best. He steered me toward the most delicious dinner. The fish special, which was super fresh sautéed Pompano, on a bed of rice pilaf, topped with an arugula/heirloom tomato/pickled red onion salad. A little of everything, on the fork, was the perfect bite...really delicious! My husband aka cheap date...went for the primavera pizza...mozzarella/fontina/gruyere cheeses, artichoke hearts, mushrooms, zucchini, caramelized onions and basil. He loved it. From what I could see they only offer one dessert...and, it's a winner. Donuts with the most delicious expresso pot de creme...oh, so good! The donuts were more like funnel cake, than a fluffy donut...but, just as good. We sat outside and it was a nice, chill vibe. Looking forward to our next visit! read more
