I fostered a dog from here and eventually adopted him. I continue to volunteer with them because of how well run it is. The dogs that come in all go to see a veterinarian. They receive all their vaccines, dental work, and even surgeries needed. They do a great job of vetting fosters and adopters. Their facility is beautiful and clean. Their adoption fees are very reasonable. They have a wonderful trainer that works with the dogs as well. Dogs go out on field trips, walks, and even visit senior center residents. I definitely recommend this organization.

It seems as though the cleaners in Phoenix fall into two categories: exorbitant prices with coupon discounts or $2.50 cleaners. Summit does it right by pricing their cleaning competitively from the start and not requiring coupons while still providing full service. They advertise their pricing at 50% off, which it is compared to the "coupon" cleaners. Compared to the $2.50 Cleaners they are a little more, but provide full service. Summit has been my cleaners of choice for almost five years now and will continue to be as long as they remain competitive. I just wish they would tidy up a bit, other than that they are great!

At the end of class, we could read from the oracle book about the card we pulled & the bigger message it was giving us. Shylo also prepped the room with a delicious scented spray + sage. Grounded32 is a community space/nonprofit where anyone can participate in different classes - painting, writing, drumming, yoga & others - b/c the goal is to bring people together in a positive spirit. Aka "eradicate loneliness!" This place has been on my radar for a few months - so glad I got to check it out!

I have never been more humiliated in all my life than I was today at approximately 11:05AM! After…read moreshowing great concern about a young child that was clearly not being supervised by an adult, I was denied a food box. I was denied by the supervisor stating that I had already received food twice this month. I am NOT a food stamp recipient, in fact I was on the phone with DES at the time that I was called up and informed him of that fact. I am attempting to help my family any way I can. The supervisor denied us even an emergency food box. The heartless guy referred me to St. Mary's Food Bank which is many miles away from Desert Mission (where I was after having waited in line), even more miles away from my home. End result, I was unable to drive the extra 10+ miles to get to St. Mary's. I have very little gas, absolutely no money and a bald tire (very unsafe to make that trip). My family will go hungry this evening and this completely unacceptable. If the option of ZERO stars were available, that's what my review would firmly be after this inappropriate conduct.
