The truffle mac n cheese tastes like someone boiled elbow macaroni in milk and then poured the resulting slurry in a dish.

First of all, let me state that the food and service were amazing! The wife and I shared the…read moreshepherds pie, which was savory and almost tasted like barbecue. Not normally my first choice, but was very tasty. We also shared the meatloaf which I really liked, my wife thought it was ok. This place was fantastic except for the sound was off the charts loud. It was understandable and no matter what, we were determined to make the night ours. A good time to put in the Apple three Pro iPods. Other than the sound, I would come here all the time. Fantastic servers and ours was extremely courteous and helpful in finding out what type of whiskey or Brandy that I like. She's a bartender and a server so she took the time to actually figure out what I liked in the drink. I found that extremely helpful and I would come back just to be served by her. Ambience is always important and like I said, the sound was extremely loud, but all the golfers were relaxing and enjoying their time together. Didn't really bother me as much as it bothered my wife. We were sat down quickly our server helped us figure out what type of drinks we wanted, and I can't thank her enough for her fantastic professionalism and sweet demeanor. That's the type of people that I want to work in restaurants and deal with people day-to-day. The food was fast to our table, hardy and savory. I saved my fish and chips for the next day and after dinner, we went outside and sat by the fire for an hour and a half. Our waitress broke away from what she was doing to go make sure the fire was stoked, hot and ready for us. Now the fire, that is an awesome fireplace outside. Stacks of wood neatly arranged next to the large fireplace that extends approximately 15 feet high or more. There must've been 30 pieces of wood in the fire, and it was roaring! I loved it and so did my wife! This is the place to go folks if you need a good experience with customer service and excellent food. And the drinks were terrific. Our waitress nailed the drinks! We were sad to see her go for the evening, but we were picked up by another great server. If you're looking to golf, the golfers all started, this is the best place in the world to golf at. Not being a golfer, I had to listen and analyze why they thought so. I had visited Pebble Beach and never golfed there but wow, I never knew Bandon, Oregon was the top destination for Golfing. It helps that this restaurant and resort is located in the heart of this amazing location. It's beautiful and welcoming and of course I would just come back for the customer service. Thank you!!

Both were a perfect snack. I loved the crispy thicker fries. Service was excellent. It was a great stop after a round to warm up (it started drizzling at the end of our round) and relax.

I have only been here once (dinner on 12/26/25), but the food was so good I'm considering going…read moreback a second time during our 3 night stay at Bandon Dunes! HIGHLY recommend the Minestrone Soup. It was piping hot, super chunky (full of chopped veggies), and a good portion size for the price ($7). Also highly recommend the pizza (I only tried the pepperoni and sausage, but I'm sure they are all good)! Thin crust that was super crispy, it had a good cheese pull, plenty of toppings, and really yummy, tangy red sauce. The Chicken Parmesan entree was good BUT it came out lukewarm (the chicken & the pasta/sauce). The entire dish would have benefited from a few minutes under the broiler. In addition to great food our server Julie was also awesome! She handled some odd requests from me (like no Parmesan cheese on my pizza) and everything came out perfectly! I really appreciate her attention to detail when putting our order in :) the entire staff (inc. the buses and food runners) had good hustle and attention to detail; our table was cleared promptly when we finished a dish, drinks refilled, etc. Just FYI the ambiance in the bar was pretty casual (we went straight to dinner after using the spa at The Lodge). Two big TVs were playing college football. It was dark by the time we got there, so I didn't get to see the view, But it sounds like it's pretty beautiful. I might go back this weekend for breakfast or lunch!

Rayvon was our waiter and he was excellent! His pace was perfect. We asked about favorite meals and we chose 3 of his 3 suggestions and were exceptionally pleased. Chicken parm, chicken piccata and bolognese were so good. Since there were 4 of us and only three suggestions (and I have a rule that no one can order the same thing) I chose the rigatoni pompadour. We shared all of our meals so everyone could have a bite to taste. The homemade pasta was so good. The taste, presentation, and portions were perfect We started with the meatballs and focaccia bread. Again, so good. Four meatballs, 4 pieces of bread, 4 people, perfect starters. We finished with the cookie skillet. Again, Rayvon came through with the suggestion of an extra scoop of ice cream which was exactly what we needed as we split the dessert. Our experience and food was so good it ended up being our fav place.

We believe…read morein 2nd chances :) ORIGINAL POST: Heard about this place from a post in a women's group I'm in and so my guy and I decided to take a drive and check it out. We went in and it was a quaint and cute place. They had a couple of customers so things seemed promising. We noticed seating at the bar and we asked if anyone was sitting there or did they already leave (empty plates and glasses suggested that the previous customers were gone). The guy said it would be a few minutes but we could sit somewhere else for now. The lady was just standing there doing nothing and didn't even greet us. Anyways. we happily sat at a table while we waited for the bar to be cleared. After a moment, we noticed the plates and glasses were removed so we both started to the bar again. The guy was sorting dishes off to the side and the lady was again just standing there so we assumed it was ready, but no one said anything. As we started to sit at the bar I excitedly told the lady that was working there how I heard of the place and I was excited to try it. She gave me a smug "smile" and said nothing. Then turned around to get some glasses. We were starting to feel unwelcome. We were given some food and wine menus and I then noticed that the counter was wet and had some crumbs. I didn't have a napkin so I just pushed the crumbs off to the side and my guy asked if they could wipe the counter. I was surprised that she didn't suggest doing this in the first place, but we didn't notice it was dirty until we sat down. It was fine that it was dirty and they still needed to clean up as we would have waited longer but there was no communication. The lady finally said to us, "we just had a big party and that's why I told you to sit somewhere else", but she wasn't the one who told us, the guy did, and all this would have been totally fine and understandable, but her behavior was unfriendly and rude. A friendlier response would have been more accommodating, like, "oh let me get that for you" (if I was the owner I would have said, "oh sorry about that, I'd be happy to clean that off for you"). We felt like we weren't welcomed so we left.
