Love the Flower Cupboard! When I want something special delivered somewhere in Williamsburg, this is definitely my go-to place. Having flowers sent can get pricey, but the folks here really do a great job of keeping things affordable. I've spoken to a few different employees over the phone here, and they've always been extremely helpful. Whenever I ask what in stock happens to look the best, they've never led me astray; they really hook me up with the best flowers, I think, and not with anything they're trying to unload, like some florists tend to do. Flower Cupboard gets an extra star for being student-friendly and willing to deliver to the William & Mary campus. There's been a little discrepancy in delivery charge to W&M, though; the first time it was only $1.50, but I think I was misquoted. Expect an additional $7.00 fee for delivery to the College. The Flower Cupboard saved the day! I was trying to send Mother's Day flowers from Arizona and every shop in Williamsburg was booked! I mean I tried everywhere. My last call was to them. I was politely told that they would try their best to deliver on Sunday but if they weren't able to, it was guaranteed for Monday. This was the best news! The other shops didn't even TRY! While I was Leary of sending a $60 payment for flowers I've never seen and to a shop that I have never dealt with, I was pleasantly surprised with the arrangement that was delivered. If there was a minus that is what they would get from me. They did not deliver my flowers on my birthday, They said they did not have the arrangement my son ordered, and after dealing with 1-800 flowers, I got the arrangement that was what he ordered after they told him I was getting a better arrangement and was going to be priority. I posted a picture but it disappeared. The arrangement was very unprofessional and looked stuffed into an oversized vase. I had to take it all apart and rearranged it. I'm not sure that it had all the flowers it was supposed to - it had way too many 'fern fronds".
