Madi--the designer--created a beautiful bouquet and was very professional in her dealings with me. The owner (Emilie) however, was cold and unreasonable when my delivery went awry. The presentation that had been planned was ruined, when the flowers were delivered to the person we were trying to surprise, hours before anyone even knew if she would be successful at the milestone that we hoped to celebrate. Multiple times I contacted Smith's to ask whether they could offer me a partial refund, in acknowledgement of their mistake. The owner did not respond, despite having my contact information. When I did finally got her on the phone, she was defensive and took no responsibility for what had happened. I would be very hesitant to entrust her with an important family event, like a wedding or funeral.

What was ordered was Not Close to what this florist shop delivered. There was a clear picture on Ava's website of what should be included and missing was the Flowering plant (with matching bow) and the green plants weren't in a dish- just 4 green plants in tiny pots stuffed into a leftover Easter basket. (delivery was the week after Easter) The basket is warped on the bottom and does not even sit flat on the counter! This florist should be ashamed for what they delivered and should not be doing business with the Ava's Flowers group which is a scam!!! However, as we pulled in, I noticed Floral Fashions and decided to pop in there instead. It's a pretty small shop, seems a bit dated, which also means that they have probably been there for a long time. A nice man came out from the back room and greeted us warmly. All I wanted was a variety of flowers for me to arrange on my own. I wasn't looking for any fancy arrangements. I told him that I was going for a "wildflower" vibe and gave him my budget. He went to the back and returned with a few stems. Turns out the stems that he brought out were only about $2 each which I thought was very reasonable. It was such a quick, easy and pleasant trip.
