Visited Edible Arrangements store #425 to purchase dipped fruit for holiday gift. The store noted it opened at 9:00am, but I waited until 9:20 for someone to arrive and open the store. That should've been my warning to find another location. I've included pictures of the spoiled strawberries I purchased from this location. My dozen dipped strawberries were all spoiled, discolored and smelled like mold and dirt. I opened each strawberry hoping one would be fresh. No such luck. I gifted a dozen dipped mixed fruit box to friends and it has turned into a complete embarrassment. Rotten fruit barely covered in chocolate is a disaster. Wife ordered dipped strawberries for our granddaughter's birthday. The strawberries where moldy and looked like some insect had eaten them. The photos below where sent to me by my granddaughter. She was upset at the appearance of the strawberries. Wrote the corporate office, and they sent the complaint to the Williamsburg store. They did cancel the order, but they offered no apology nor any other kind of comment. I hear that Harris Teeter offers something similar and cheaper. Terrible execution! I send these fruit arrangements to customers on a regular basis. I had never used the Williamsburg location until recently. Their arrangement looked terrible compared to all other EA stores I have used. I was embarrassed my name was on the card. Look at the pictures on my review. I've never had my edible arrangement order be such a nightmare. It's been six days and my recipient has still not received my order. They rarely answer when I call during normal business hours and the voicemail box doesn't work either. Do not order from here. read more

One more star after the delivery was made the day after it was due. The recipient enjoyed the arrangement and found no issues with the quality of the fruit and cakes and was quite pleased with the presentation. There are still concerns about this business: No discount was ever offered to me as a new customer (on the website they give you 20% off) or a credit issued for the late delivery. If you order by phone, no confirmation of your order, delivery date or other pertinent information is sent by text or email. No notice was voluntarily given regarding the No Delivery status. The manager never intervened nor sent any apology. Not sure if the Newport News franchise is better - recommend you try them before Williamsburg. ...and part of this is my fault for NOT reading the Yelp reviews of this business before ordering! read more

Do not use this location of Edible Arrangements in Williamsburg. The arrangement was a Christmas present for my brother and family. The fruit was not ripe and to hard to eat with no taste. The manager called me after complaining and she said all the fruit was ripe except maybe the melon. It was not edible at all. Also I asked for a full refund and the manager said she would have to check on it and call me back in 20 minutes. That was over a week ago and no response. Please do not use this business if you want a special present with delicious fruit as they do not know the meaning of delicious ripe fruit. read more

You have a better chance of getting on YouTube and creating your own with the time it will take to get your order my original order had to be changed and moved to another date to get told that your arrangement is on its way 5 hrs 27 phone calls later and being on hold to get told it should be there before 9pm most definitely take your time looking for a business that will actually deliver happiness cause you're definitely wasting your time read more

Update as of March 9, 2015 The establishment delivered a replacement order today of strawberries and a very kind note apologizing for the previous situation. It was very surprising, and thoughtful and I honestly feel as if they are trying to make things right. The replacement was just as beautiful as the first one. WARNING: Save yourself a lot of trouble now. Do not purchase anything from this franchised edible arraignments location. Part of an order was not delivered and when we called we were told to come pick it up ourselves. When we asked to speak to a manager, the woman on the phone stated she was the manager. When a refund was requested, the woman on the phone said word for word to "kiss my a$$" and hung up. They would not provide the owners information. We called corporate who was no help. read more

Placed an order in April for delivery on Friday, May 7th. No delivery. I called the store the next morning (which was this morning) and was told they were short staffed yesterday, so my order (to my mom for Mother's Day) would go out today. I understand that can happen, so I was okay with it. I would've thought that because they were a day late delivering my order, they would've delivered to my mom first this morning. But nope. 6:00pm Saturday it still hasn't been delivered. So I called again to ask if I could get an ETA on delivery. I spoke to the rudest individual I have ever spoken to over the phone. She told me they don't give ETA's. When I explained the situation, she said "Well we close at 7:00 so hopefully it'll get delivered by then." HOPEFULLY?!?!?!?! So now I'm concerned it won't get delivered today, either. When I asked, "What happens if it doesn't get delivered by 7:00?" I was told "THEN IT'LL BE DELIVERED AFTER 7:00." And then I was hung up on. I am so furious at how I, a paying customer, was treated. And yet there's no way to make a complaint on their website. I WILL be calling a manager Monday. Terrible service. I've tried calling this place a million times to update my order. No one picks up the phone and the voicemail box is full. Inside, they leave ridiculous voicemail box messages that are incoherent and unhelpful. A task as simple as picking up the phone seems to be incomprehensible to the people who work here. Horrible customer service. Was to receive a delivery, never came next day called to inquire was fed a story about delivery driver quitting and other one being sick said I could pick order up or it would be delivered after certain time. Order never came, no phone call. Had to call again associate completely rude and hung up on me. To the owner Cheryl Baugher forget it. Left a message for her and sent email no response no wonder her associates are just like her. Never ever again will I do business with any of her franchises. Look at the reviews and the owners name. Don't do it. Customer service is the most important thing to give to a consumer from the owner to the clerk. Shame on you Edible Arrangements for not addressing your franchise owner the correct way. DO NOT USE THIS STORE! They don't deliver on the day you ordered and they don't make a fresh item that day. I made an order, no delivery was attempted but of course the manager says they did attempt delivery after 8pm at night. I asked if the item being "re-delivered" was fresh and she said the fruit doesn't expire so they make items in advance and deliver as orders come up so the items are NOT made fresh daily. You can get much better service and much better bang for your buck elsewhere. I had called and left a voicemail with no response, sent an online inquiry with no response, and had to call customer service who then got the store manager on the line. This place is a scam. They charge you and then don't deliver a fresh item on the day you ordered for. read more

Great place to get nice edible gifts for any occasion. I'd rate it a 5 but they never open on time when I visit the local store. It's 806 am and the site and the store message lists they open at 8am but they aren't. not the first time I've waited or had to go elsewhere for my special event needs at this location. read more

Twice I have had to have my information entered into their system b/c they couldn't find me. I have wasted more time standing around waiting on them to find me then it was worth. When I called corporate they told me they sent me an email at 10:37 did I have it, no, then she said "oh wait they are actually working on your concern now"!!!! What? I contacted customer service to receive my birthday reward and flat out refused, why? b/c my information was not entered into their system correctly. Last year same thing, spend 30 minutes having the clerk enter my information and then gave me the birthday reward- her customer service was top notch, I can't say the same for this management or corporate. I would have expected more from this company and highly advise you think about another option! order 2 arrangements on December 17 to be delivered December 24 they were not delivered had a message on the phone at 2 in the afternoon telling us they were not going to be delivered. went to store first thing on the 26th they gave us our money back for the delivery and were to up grade the arrangements and deliver them that day 1 was delivered at 10:30 that night and was of poor quality and of few different fruits some having no taste. very bad overall will never use them again must be under new management as I am a repeat customer. and have never had service like this. these arrangements were for Christmas dinners. show much for Christmas this year! read more
