There were a lot of floral arrangements that needed to be done onsite, and the venue only allowed a short set-up time. It was GRACE UNDER PRESSURE for sure, as they worked their magic around the reception dining tables, entryway, special display and food tables, and outdoor patio ceremony site. There was a large metal arch that had been beautifully bedecked with fresh arrangements on it, and it was an exceedingly windy day. Despite the difficult conditions, they completed the entire set-up on time and absolutely beautifully. The flowers were focal to every space for this wedding, and they did a brilliant job! Madi--the designer--created a beautiful bouquet and was very professional in her dealings with me. The owner (Emilie) however, was cold and unreasonable when my delivery went awry. The presentation that had been planned was ruined, when the flowers were delivered to the person we were trying to surprise, hours before anyone even knew if she would be successful at the milestone that we hoped to celebrate. Multiple times I contacted Smith's to ask whether they could offer me a partial refund, in acknowledgement of their mistake. The owner did not respond, despite having my contact information. When I did finally got her on the phone, she was defensive and took no responsibility for what had happened. I would be very hesitant to entrust her with an important family event, like a wedding or funeral.

The all-inclusive option was great for us, trying to plan our wedding in just a few months, and truly helped SO much with not having to worry or stress about anything! The venue itself is stunning with beautiful outdoor spaces, patios, and indoor areas as well as two spacious suites to get ready in. The venue itself offers a lot of flexibility in areas to have your ceremony! We chose to be outside for the ceremony, on the patio for our cocktail hour and send-off, and indoors for eating and dancing! We loved getting to use every part of this beautiful venue! From the moment we booked, Tracy (our wedding coordinator) went above and beyond for us! She offered thoughtful advice, helpful recommendations, and always responded quickly, no matter how small the question. She met with us multiple times throughout the planning process and really took the time to get to know us as a couple and to understand our vision for our day. On the wedding day, Tracy was incredible! She coordinated every moving part seamlessly, kept us calm, and made sure the entire day flowed perfectly. By the end of the night she became like family and was passing out cake, making sure guests had everything they needed, and even made an appearance on the dance floor with us! We could not have done any of this without her! After the wedding, everything was already packed and organized for us to pick up the next day! We chose to upgrade a few items in the package and were not disappointed! The photobooth was absolutely amazing and highly recommended with a backdrop and props for us and guests to enjoy! We even got a flashdrive with all of the pictures taken throughout the night!
