I found a Rose and Lavender candle that smelled divine. I flipped it over to look at the price and I got brought back to reality really quick - it was £4.50. OK, so I am a cheapskate, I admit, but still, I'm not into spending a fiver on a stupid candle that's going to burn into nothingness in the long run. Ignoring my reservations, I held onto it while I perused what the rest of the shop had to offer. It had cute little knick knacks of all sorts - cards, lipstick holds, keychains, purses. I took a photo of the jewellery display. Then I went to the back of the shop and found loads of overpriced ugly clothes that only a wicked witch or a sexless spinster would wear and I took a picture of them. 'Excuse me, no more pictures please!' said a woman behind the counter that I did not even recognise existed until that very moment because she did not bother to greet me when I came into the store as she was picking her cuticles and developing blisters on her buttocks from sitting on her ass for so long embracing indolence with all of her being. I was annoyed to say the least. Like seriously, why can't I take pictures? Do you have a black magic banshee kickin' it behind the trouser section or something? I put my candle back and sprinted out of the shop. She could stuff it.

Some of their cards are not politically correct and others are extremely formal. They also carry wrapping paper, bags and even alarm clocks in the back, so if you're hunting for a gift and a card you may only have to go to one place. No card in this place would cost more than £4. On a Saturday morning, a shocking amount of food in the veg section was completely empty. Staff appear so frustrated that they are literally shouting at the top of their voices to direct people around the store and to the tills. Not a nice experience. I heard a few people say they prefer shopping at Waitrose - I think I might count myself in that group too. Maybe it's just teething problems - but sadly I really didn't enjoy my shopping experience after the store has been shut for 7 months

One of the more dangerous items of food sold here, is the all butter apple turnover. Oh my my my! I'm sure these babies are about 1000 calories each but they are so good! On top of that with the vat reimbursement it's significantly less expensive too! I'd definitely rent an outfit to wear for a gig or in a video but I imagine it'd be too expensive to do it very regularly. After visiting the website I've contacted them a few times to enquire about the dressmaking classes but have yet to hear back - I'd love to learn how to make some of the amazing concoctions they have in the shop. I also hear some are for sale so must make another visit soon to find out more.
