I'm a little torn on how to write this review. Everyone seems to have such high praise for this place, but, honestly---I just didn't get it. On the plus side--the service was outstanding! The young lady who waited on us couldn't have been more cordial and helpful, and her attitude is certainly a great bonus for this business. The food---it was decent---but, to me, no better than I could have got at any number of fast food restaurants. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a BAD meal--just from all the 5 star reviews I expected more. I had the fish and chips, and the fish was tasty and the serving size was large. The chips (fries) appeared to be frozen, out of the bag fries. My wife ordered pulled pork, but it wasn't pulled pork at all--it was more like sliced, roast pork with some BBQ sauce. Tasty, yes, but not pulled pork. All in all, an "ok" experience. Friendly, fast service and decent food, but, at least for more, it doesn't approach a 5 star rating. read more

This is a gem of a spot in farmers city, at first glance it does not look like much, but once inside it is a very clean and simple place. Food is great, I had the fish and chips, fish was light and flakey, fries were hot and crispy. All in all great place, friendly staff, i will defiantly be back again, highly recommended. read more

Used to come here 15 years ago when it really was a wagon! Fish is just as good as it was before! The place is cute and clean! My fish tacos were really good as were the fries. If you bring kids they can likely share with you as the fish portions are very large! I've heard the burgers are very good as well! The service is very friendly and prompt! Have had the fish wagon twice now. First time I had the burger and fries, burger was a little salty for my taste and kind of dry, the fries (Shoestring fries) were crunchier than I would've liked. Second time I had the BBQ pulled pork and potato salad and my dad gave me the rest of his fish and chips that he couldn't finish. BBQ pork was really good. The bun was soggy but I didn't even mind, I was too busy licking the delicious pork juices and bbq sauce off my chin and fingers. The potato salad was good too, and I'm rather picky about the way my potato salad tastes, it reminded me of my childhood when my grandmother use to make potato salad. The fries the second time around were much better suited to what I like a fry to be, just a little crunchy with lots of potatoey goodness. Fish was alright, more breading than fish and it was a little oilier than I would like. Would recommend people at least try it, the decor is a little corny but eh, it's fish themed so I can't really say anything really bad about it. read more
