The biggest issue I have with Pier One is that it is in the Wrest Point Casino complex - I don't gamble and find casinos in general to be tacky and boring. However, if you are like me it is possible to access the restaurant whilst still avoiding pretty much the entire casino by using the lower entrance or wandering around the water-side boardwalk.

The broccolini was perfectly cooked and one of the best in a long time. Potatoes rounded out the plate and were a good complement. Seafood linguine was served with a generous amount of shrimp, calamari, fish and scallops. Pasta was al dente. For dessert we finished off with their sticky toffee cake with a scoop of caramel ice cream. It brought back memories of our first one last year and was a satisfying end to dinner.
