This is downtown Winter Haven, parking can be a challenge. Inside is very open and the have a few tables in the front and additional outdoor dining in the back. Fortunately we had reservations as they were extremely busy with holiday parties on a Thursday night. Server was attentive and very detailed. Bread was tasty. My steak was good, but had a lot of gristle. They had a happy hour 2 for 1 drink selection.

It was mother day & we didn't make a reservation but their were only 4 of us and they were able to accommodate us. If it was a party of 6 then you would need to make a reservation. Which there were a lot of party of 6 or more. The staff were so nice. The mimosas were bottomless. I just stuck with with a margarita and it was delicious. The breakfast was good. My mother in law and sister-in-law got the steak and egg. They needed salt and pepper to put on the steak because it was bland. Well they said it had a weird taste. My French toast was good and my husband got the cuban. He said it was ok.

Loved eating outside!!! The staff was so nice and accommodating. We had a surprise engagement here and they helped set up, gave us a free bottle of champagne and the service was top tier. The food menu is limited however all food items were yummy. They have a large selection of wine and beer! I suggest making a reservation as it does get busy.

The food is very tasty. Our server was phenomenal. The atmosphere was okay. We had reservations, but there had been a few large groups/parties, and the open design means all the sound just keeps

Such a cute restaurant! I am not from this area, but the locals say that it has been through a lot of renovation. I am giving four stars due to the food. We walked in, we had a reservation for a table of six, there was another couple that was already sitting down and they had not received any menus or any drinks. The restaurant did not seem as busy as the waitress acted, but you never know what goes behind the scenes. I got the bananas Foster's French toast which was the most delicious French toast I had ever had in my life! The cheese grits were yummy and just needed a little salt and pepper. I could not decide between the pancakes and the French toast, so I asked the waitress and she did not know. She said I don't like syrup, so I don't know. There was a dish that had "Pollo" in the name of it and yet the description did not have chicken in it. So, we asked her about that as well and she did not know. I asked if the bartender could make me a mock tail and she asked what that was, so I told her what I would like and she said she never heard of it before, okay so water it is for me then. My husband got the burrito and asked to substitute the sausage for chicken and she was not sure if that could be done although they did do it. I cannot describe how bad the service was. The bottomless mimosas and sangria's were bottomless way before she even came back around to check. My husband asked to put in another round as soon as she dropped it off, but it seemed that she had an issue with it but no issue with not checking in more frequently on those. It would seem a pitcher would be a better idea, in her case. I would definitely come back to this restaurant for the food, but the service was absolutely one star. It was really sad because it really did not look as busy. She apologized when she gave us the check, and she actually gave a child one of the checks. She also put the wrong food items on a couple of our checks. I don't know what happened to her that day, but she was very unhelpful, uneducated on the menu and very slow with service. It is very nice inside though and the ambience is wonderful for brunch. I will definitely go back and make sure to ask for a different waitress.

Tonight we choose to celebrate a big birthday at The Fire and they did not miss! The steak was one of the best I've had and of course you can't forget the white Mac and cheese! If I'm being completely honest i was more excited to see what Jacob our server was going to do next ! He went above and beyond and this is not an exaggeration! I'd come again just to visit him :)

AMAZING EASY CASUAL BRUNCH! The food was delicious! Our server, Paige, was so attentive! They were so flexible. We were a needy bunch and we had a BLAST! I cannot recommend this place enough. Plus mimosas? Absolutely phenomenal!

Checked out this cute spot on Mothers Day. Would recommend reservation as they do stay busy. We were a party of 4 and showed up about an hour after opening. We we're lucky to get a table. Pros: They have unlimited mimosas for $15 They serve cinnamon sugar donut holes as you are waiting for your meal- very yummy Sister in law said the French toast was good Great ambience Cons: Service was a little slow Steak and eggs - the steak was weird- needed sauce to make it taste good - was surprised, I didn't expect an amazing steak but I've had better even at Dennys. Brother had the Cuban- seemed to be served on French bread and not Cuban. I'll give it another try before writing it off altogether but def don't recommend steak and eggs.

My husband and I recently moved to Polk County. Celebrating our 21 anniversary, we stumbled upon Fire. The steaks were great. The service even better. Matty was attentive and gave great recommendations. Answered all our questions and was a joy to speak with. We laughed ar the fact he just celebrated his 21st birthday and was two days old when we got married. Kevin was great too as he made sure we were happy with our service. The place was nice, relaxing and will come back again.

What is better than brunch with friends on a Sunday? Brunch with friends on a Sunday plus bottomless Mimosa's and Sangria for only $15! We are no strangers to the Winter Haven restaurant Fire! Our own Tastymanfl gave it a rave review for regular dining a couple of years ago. But we needed to try the Brunch and very glad we did! https://m.facebook.com/thefirerestaurant/ It is a brunch by menu selection with many unusual choices. We (of course) started with our cocktails, beside the unlimited mimosas and sangria they had wonderful choices under " hair of the dog" including a fabulous "Fire Bloody Mary" garnished with nueskes bacon. On our next trip I definitely want to try the "Pear Martini", "Limencello Mule" and "Jalapeño Margarita" to name a few! Now that our engines were properly "Fired" up, we feasted on the "Brunch Burger", "Big Belly Burrito", "Country Steak Benedict" on challah bread and potato hash with Bernaise, "Banana Foster French Toast" with a decadent Meyer's rum syrup, "Poke Bowl" with marinated Tuna, cilantro-lime rice, mandarin oranges, Avocados and crispy wontons and a citrus ginger dressing, and last but not least the "Prime Sirloin And Potato" which was cooked perfectly with sunny side eggs! Dishes we would like to try next would be the "Grilled Reuben", "Grilled Brunch Cuban", "Pollo Loco Diablo" and the "Fire French Toast". They have DJ Music Mix on certain days as well! Make sure you make a reservation because the place is bopping even though it's a large venue with inside and outside dining! And don't forget your friends the prices are amazing!

Hair on the plate going into the sauce

We had a reservation for Father's Day brunch. We asked to be seated on the patio and the hostess mentioned they could turn on the fans and had us turn around to turn them on. The waitress was prompt at first but we had to flag someone down for our refills on bottomless sangria, and soda. The food sounded and looked really good and was excited to order the country steak Benedict, only to be confused when she asked how I wanted the eggs. I said it's a Benedict the eggs should be poached? And the waitress said they can't do that. So I ordered over easy, and when the food came out there was hair in the sauce. I sent it back and had lost my appetite at that point. They sent a manager out but how can they expect someone to still want to eat?

Later I also had the Martin Ray and in my opinion it was not as good, but it was a heavier mouth feel and it had layers to it. They have a piano player Wednesday and Saturday. He shows up around 6pm. So they have free slasa and chips in the back corner most nights. On Tuesday the have tacos. And Tuesday there are meatballs. On Friday they have Karaoke around 7. If you like wine, or you are an enthusiast, this would be a great place to visit if you find yourself in Winter Haven Florida. They have buy one glass 2nd half price. If you buy a bottle and stay, it is a $15 corkage fee. We kind of did the math and depending on the pour, and their pours are generous, it is cheaper to buy by the glass. When you visit they your own math gymnastics. Bottom line, Grape Expectations, the wine is great. The service is exceptionally better. And if you like a mellow vibe with great wine. You won't be disappointed in this stop. Finally, shout out to Terra, between her and Ray we had such a great time. CAN'T WAIT TO COME BACK!

Service was... okay. A bit on the "too relaxed" side, which almost came across as unfriendly. To be fair, I was already in a mood from something personal before I walked in, so maybe that energy carried over, but still worth noting. Food-wise, it was decent--nothing mind-blowing, but good enough that I'd definitely come back when in the area. The loco moco burger was basically an ordinary burger, though the gravy added an interesting twist. Not sure I'd reorder it. I really enjoyed the French toast--the grilled pineapple on top was disappointingly dry, but the syrup helped and overall I'd get that again. The millionaire bacon sounded much more exciting on the menu than it tasted--pretty basic in execution. What I do love is how creative their menu reads; it makes you want to try everything. That's why I feel like I need to come back and sample more dishes to really get the full experience. Cute spot, decent food, and definitely worth a return visit to explore more of their offerings.

That corner is where I sat, for more than half an hour, gasping for air. I was entertained by the music and some people dancing to the tunes. I really wanted my beer which never came. When I finally got the bill it included the illusion beer that was never served. When I questioned it the waitress got frustrated and handed my ticket to an apologetic younger guy.
